There is a parking lot that wasn't near full today, so found a spot easily. Accepting cash only was unexpected, so I was glad to have some which is rare. Options include small and large and about 25 flavors, including a few sugar free and the option to add cream for a more ice cream like flavor. Up to 2 flavors are included in the cost, or you can add more for a few. We selected a large chocolate, small blue raspberry and large fuzzy navel/coconut topped with cream. The chocolate really wasn't great. The other flavors were exactly as expected and the small was more than enough for any of us. There's one picnic table with umbrella, and a pavilion just beside it but the options are very limited unless you're on the beach and taking it back to your spot.

I just…read morehappened to be in Bay St. Louis Mississippi today and was meeting my in laws at a local casino RV park, as it was their inaugural trip in their new ride. As I turned off Hwy 90 onto Bluemeadow Rd., a "snowball" sign caught my eye, and I made an immediate mental note to stop there on the way home. Well, time passed, as time does, and it was now time to sample a Mississippi Gulf Coast snowball. The stand is painted in bright pink and aqua colors, so it definitely stands out on the side of the road. As I walked up the stairs to the service counter, I saw a small sign hanging on the "porch" that stated "BUCKTOWN". I thought to myself that this was an interesting sign for a snowball stand in Bay St. Louis. Anyway, I was greeted by a friendly man at the window who introduced himself as the owner, Paule. Paule even installed a small set of kiddie stairs on the porch so that the kids can see over the counter and watch him make their snowballs. I told him that I had Yelped snowballs in the Bay St. Louis area, but my search results did not reveal anything. I asked if he wouldn't mind if I took a few pictures so I could post them on Yelp. "What's Yelp", he stated. I told him all about Yelp and how that back in New Orleans, I had actually done 12 reviews on snowball stands, as my wife loved snowballs. Paule told me that he was originally from Bucktown (hence the sign) and had lived in New Orleans (Lakeview) until he moved and opened up Paule's snoballs and snow shakes in 1993. I ordered a dreamsicle as it was one of my favorites. The texture of the ice was a little coarse but not so much as to call it a shaved ice. And even though I am a fan of velvety smooth ice, this texture actually worked for me, as it melted pretty quickly once you started to eat it. The dreamsicle syrup was tasty, without being too thick or "syrupy"; and it left no lingering aftertaste. It was just cool and refreshing. As I sampled my dreamsicle and gathered some basic info for my Yelp review, Paul advised me that the "specialty of the house" was his snow shakes. He advised me that it was a blended snowball (yeah, in a blender) with the addition of evaporated milk, and perhaps a secret ingredient that I was not aware of. Since snow shakes was his specialty, I got a dreamsicle snow shake so I could compare it to the dreamsicle snowball. Well, there is no comparison, as snow shakes rule. The snow shake is served in a shake/malt type cup with a lid and a straw, as no spoon is needed. I took a huge sip, and was immediately rewarded with a smooth, creamy styled snowball/milk shake hybrid that was delicious. You get the initial taste of the dreamsicle, followed by the creamy taste and texture of the evaporated milk and with just a small amount if shaved ice texture such as you'd get in a smoothie. What a great concept. The best thing about the snow shakes is you can get right back in your car without having to worry about spilling any since you do not need to use a spoon. This place is a great hidden gem just off of Hwy 90. I'm glad that Yelpers in the area will now have a link to a great snowball stand.

At Quickly they have a huge selection of every flavor instant-ramen/ramyun you could think of. The only ONE negative thing is I couldn't find any instant tteokbokki packs (it's my favorite snack food, legitimately). They also have a huge selection in their ice cream shop, korean corn dogs (do I need to mention I'm drooling again?), and abilities to make drinks. I got a red bull infused mixed drink and it was fab. They also cute kawaii toys for purchase in the store side. That brings me to the claw kingdom. WILD. I felt like I transported to Japan fr. I worked so hard and eventually won a little hello kitty charm toy and a friggin hedgehog stuffy. I don't want to talk about how much money I spent on tokens, it's irrelevant. Hahaha. Anyway, yall go check out Quickly, Hero Claw Kingdom, and Chamay. It's super cool. I'm rating a 4/5 because out of the 100+ instant packs of food, not ONE tteokbokki was found.

The sushi we got the shrimp tempura roll. It was practically just cucumber and some kind of cream. I think it was cream cheese. I don't know, but that's all I could taste. One thing I do recommend is their Bulgogi bowls. The kimchi that came with it was really good but they give you more kimchi than they do actual Bogo beef but what you do get out of the Bulgogi beef is so good it was delicious and it's the only thing I would even get again. My brother got the chicken tenders. They were huge and he seemed to really like them, but they were really really oily like they were dripping oil. The ice cream was really yummy. I really liked it. They had a fun variety. They also had a bunch of different snacks all over the wall. I would definitely buy the snacks if I were to go again, but not the food except for the bulgogi. Anyways, Food aside the inside was actually really pretty. I liked it. It gives early 2000s. and it's connected to a mochi donut shop. I didn't get to try the donuts this time but I bought the ice cream from there. My only gripe is that the bathroom was pretty dirty but to be fair we went at like four or 5 PM so you know it's just a bad time to go if you want a fresh bathroom anyways nothing against the owners were the employees. This was just my experience and what I ate. Maybe they have different things on the menu that are good but yeah I hope this helps someone planning to go there next and and try to give a more realistic expectation so they can decide if they want to go there or not we had to drive a long way there. When I received my snowballs, there was no condensed milk on them. When I asked about it, the lady in the back said she didn't charge me for condensed milk. I explained that I did ask for condensed milk, and she responded by saying it would be $1.07. I had no problem paying the $1.07 - I just wanted what I asked for. Instead of simply adding it, she started hollering and speaking with an attitude. I understand businesses can get busy, but there is still a way to talk to customers respectfully. The issue wasn't the $1.07 - it was the poor customer service and attitude! Terrible!
