Came in here Saturday around 11 for brunch and was greeted and seated immediately. Quiet ambiance, cute but clean decor, shared bathrooms with the building. The 3 of us split a bottle of champagne and 4mimosas juices. I got the shrimp and grits, yummy!!!! My other friend got the avocado toast, she said it was most like guacamole, and her husband got the biscuit and gravy, small portion but tasty he said.

Lovely brunch escape at Flavour on Saturday. Everything was nice from the interiors being cute and upscale like it has been cleaned up..very tastefully decorated with clean lines. It was a very relaxing atmosphere perfect for a brunch date. Ordered a grapefruit mimosa it tasted more like a champagne which was just as good. I absolutely enjoyed my chicken and waffles. The skin was delightfully tasty and crispy. Drizzle that with crafted toasted pecan butter and bourbon maple syrup the perfect blend of salty and sweet, crispy and soft... divine! My hubs got the classic Duvall breakfast. It's a breakfast fit for a big farmer. Comes with four fat links, home made fresh biscuit with jam, potatoes and 2 eggs. It was so much food it's ridiculous but we are not hating it. We love waffles at diners but they do it right with their special syrup and butter. Worth getting as a side. The waiter is so mindful of giving us attention without being too present so we can truly enjoy ourselves. He's great! My only slight critique is the plate choice. It was hard to use a knife on a shallow bowl I would prefer a standard plate. It's minor except the there's so much food on the Duvall breakfast every time my hubs fork into his food, the surrounding food spills off the lip and onto the table. It was a constant struggle to not appear like a slob at a fancy place. Can't wait to try out their happy hour menu items like the po' boy shrimp sandwich, tuna tartare bites and jerk wings!

    Key lime pie

This restaurant is tucked away towards the back of the building. Amazed to find authentic creole flavors on the Eastside. We went for dinner and had the gumbo, lamb chops and the chicken gnocchi entrees. Also tried their key lime pie. Loved the kick in the gumbo! Server was lovely. Food was delicious!

What a GEM! The place was empty, and I can't understand why. Except that it's a small town with a small population. Service was friendly, and the food was fantastic. Croque Madame was the best I have ever had. Fries were so good. They had this crispy outer texture and crunch that they were still tasty and crunchy even after sitting on my plate getting cold! Aioli on the blt was really good. Biscuits and gravy tasty. We enjoy every thing about this quaint place. It's quite a hike for us to drive out here, but I would definitely make the drive out again to dine here! Kudos and compliments to the chef. Well done!

Had an excellent meal tonight at Flavour Bistro- so nice to have an outstanding Sophisticated Restaurant near by- nice not to have to fight traffic! Our service was very good & the meal was superb. Started with the Beet Salad & and order of the Grilled Scallops, then on to an amazingly seasoned ribeye & Caribbean mashed potatoes- done to perfection! We ended with Pistachio gelato and that too was way above average! This establishment has an extensive wine list too- For a special night out or if you are craving something wonderful & a bit out of the ordinary- I highly recommend Flavour Bistro- you will definitely enjoy!

The menu seems to change from time to time but the food I can say is delicious. In a short drive if you are the north end or eastside you will find a city named Duvall. The drink list is excellent and they have a new bar that looks posh. The dinner prices are a little on the spendy side but for two we shared everything and it was 5 course meal with drinks and wine, which worked for an evening out. For a starter we had the lobster bisque it was really good with very creative looking dish and tasty. Brandy and cream, some crème fraiche. The second dish was mouth watering epic beet salad. Crisp and refreshing the team did great on presentation of every dish. The appetizer was the scallops which are in an onion purée with cherry tomatoes and balsamic vinegar. My friend and I enjoyed the duck for our main course and amazing! I am not going to do it justice but the duck was perfectly done. Slightly crisp skin but the luscious fat, lovely texture, with this slightly sweet sauce. Perfecto! For the finale the triple chocolate mousse cake. It was a phenomenal. Everything was amazing.

Be Shure not to leave with out having there family recipe signature deserts YUM!

This place would be great for date-night or get a drink or have a family meal. Our server was attentive and helpful, making a change for us last minute with a 'I gotcha ya' attitude - LOVE! Thank you! The food is so, so good! The Seattle area doesn't have enough 'soul', southern, creole, 'island' type of foods. This place fills the perfect niche. I have the urge to say 'hmmm, hmmm' dining here! Yum! Parking is free under the building, and nearby street parking tends to be available, too. The Food: Blackened Salmon, $33 - 5 Stars Menu: Salmon, corn soubise, fried plantains, fried okra We both wanted this as our main dish, so this is a 2X. The salmon is perfectly seasoned and grilled. You can SEE the seasoning on the fish. So glad they included pieces of okra. The frying/searing gives it the perfect chew. Fried Green Tomatoes, $15 - 5 Stars Menu: Green tomatoes, panko, egg, onion, Buddha's belly seasoning This dish is known as their must order. I have no clue what Buddha's belly seasoning is, but I can tell you it is tasty. Fried green tomatoes is a perfect southern dish (and I will always think about the movie). Wings, Jerk seasoning, $18 - 5 Stars Like many, we're suckers for wings. Even better if the seasoning is different. Jerk wings is rightfully popular, here. The sauce is generously applied, and every bit is delicious. The flavorful foods will have me returning for sure!

Walking in, the layout suggests they are also a party/mini-concert/event space. Service is casual; we were told to sit anywhere. I should have boogied my way to the table. We happily browsed through the menu looking at the many choices, some very unfamiliar. Everything looks so good, and prices are reasonable. We need to return and be more adventurous next time. Our server was helpful, guiding portion size and optional sides. The Food: Jerk Chicken plate, add steamed veggie, $20 + $2 - 5 Stars True to the jerk seasoning, theirs is spicy, as it should be. I find it annoying when jerk seasoning isn't spicy enough. The seasoning tastes even spicier when I drink water, and the heat spreads. So good! I was also happy they use boned chicken, which is more flavorful. I asked about veggies, that is $2 extra. Oxtails plate, add rice & peas, $24 + $1 - 5 Stars With beefy stock, these oxtail pieces are well-seasoned and paired well with root vegetables. A small salad and the rice & peas are a good match to the oxtail. I enjoy seeing oxtails used in different recipes. Plantains, $8 - 5 Stars From the appetizers portion of the menu, these are perfectly fried, caramelized, with minimal blackened carcinogens. This plate was a particularly good batch.

Very pretty, To order, you walk up to the counter and place your order from the menu behind the counter The menu offer sandwiches, bowls, sharables and sides. If you looked up service with a smile, you would see her face. We did tell her we were splitting the sandwich and it arrived cut in half. I don't know if that's normal or if she had it done because we were sharing. The food arrived with two plate plates (the gal heard us- great service) We ordered a side of Yucca fries, which came with an aïoli and a Caribbean roast sandwich. The fries were crispy on the outside, dusted with a signature seasoning and tender on the inside. Yucca is denser and more chewy than potato but quite tasty. The aïoli served with the fries was yummy. The real star, however is the Caribbean roast sandwich. They did not skimp on sandwich filling. The pork was tender to the point of melting in your mouth and so flavorful. I love making me some grilled onions and there were grilled ones along with some jalapeños. I don't know if it was paid, but I did find a sandwich hard to eat because it was a little messy, but let me tell you I do not stop me from finishing. It wasn't quite incredibly tender, but the marinade added an absolute ton of flavor. more importantly, it was present plentifully throughout the sandwich, so practically every bite came filled with pork I also have to mention how packed together the ingredients are between the buns. when you start eating, it's inevitable that a quarter of the ingredients will fall onto the wrap below, leaving a nice secondary meal to finish off after the sandwich is done. the sandwich is packed incredibly tight during the wrapping process, but it unravels a bit while eating. for me, the major highlights of this meal was the onions and the aioli Starting with the onions, these may be the best I've ever had on a sandwich. They're caramelized amazingly, placed onto the sandwich in astoundingly large pieces, are crunchy, and there's just a lot of them. They're just wonderful both texturally and taste-wise. This sandwich is absolutely lathered with aioli - practically dripping with it. This boosted the overall flavor so much, especially because this aioli was addictingly good. In my experience, the amount of sauce has been directly proportional to how much I enjoyed a sandwich, and when the sauce is this good - it's even on the top of the bun! - i absolutely loved it Somehow the lettuce stayed crunchy despite all the otherwise wetness going on in the sandwich. Props for that The jalapenos were great as well for that extra bit of spicy - I would've loved to have more of them while the bread was toasted well, the one downside was i thought it was pretty hard and tough, which made chewing kind of difficult. I found my jaw to be pretty tired at the end after eating this. I would've much preferred a softer roll that's easier to bite into I've had similar sandwiches from Paseo and Bongos, and in my opinion this does edge out both of those Comparing to Paseo, the sandwich there has way more oil, making it more sloppy and I do like the bread there a lot better, but the pork feels richer and better marinated here (although less fatty), and the onions are definitely caramelized better here as well. Bongos has a pretty similar level of pork with more, but onions are definitely a step down What moves this place above those two for me is the amount of aioli used here far exceeds those other places, which just makes the overall eating experience better For the price (about 14 dollars) this is a really filling meal
