I was extremely happy with the level of service we received. Dr Tiffany is absolutely lovely and used her warm personality to help us through some fairly intensive calculus removal! Her assistant (who's name I have forgotten) was also lovely. We had booked in for the check up, X-ray and clean deal under private health insurance - it ended up costing us $150 each outside the gap but for the work that Dr Tiffany did (and considering we both had had a very significant lapse in visiting the dentist) that seemed to me as being a good price. My husband will be returning for fillings, and we will also be returning regularly to keep our teeth in order from now on! What a pleasure to find such a great health supplier! I would not hesitate to recommend my dental group and happy to leave this review

I obviously jumped on Yelp and Novadental had racked up all 5 star reviews, so I gave them a call and they graciously booked me in for the following day. The dentist was lovely, even if he did break my heart by telling me that grazing may be the best thing for your waistline, but the worst thing for your teeth. Darn decay. He was constantly checking in throughout the procedure making sure I was still comfortable, which was very reassuring. I was happy with the work, it was expensive like all dentists are, but would definitely recommend them.

The muscle memory has now stuck because they didn't fix it in a timely manner. So I'm now on my 6th splint to try and repair the damage they have done. Do. Not. Go. To. Hampstead Dental! Crowns from them have ruined my face, body, and self esteem. Plus, they're a covid infection site. Probably because Mr Ed is so narcissistic that he probably hosted one of the northside infection parties that brought Victoria to its knees. Well done Hampstead, you're really ruining as many lives as possible. I'll be back with lawyers once I get the final bill for repairing your dodgy work.

I generally go to Highpoint Dental Clinic, because I know I can usually make an appointment for within a week of when I want to go. The dentists are nice, the reception staff are friendly and seem pretty competent ( good with appointments and billing). Magazines in the waiting room are old, but I guess thats not really what you go to the dentist for huh......Oh and most importantly, I never dread coming here. That might change if I ever need a tooth pulled... Gulp.

Setting aside the slightly high price tag for the entire course, Smile Solutions does offer a great experience for what is usually an uncomfortable process. Since I've been visiting about 1.5 years ago, I've always had top notch customer service from these guys! One minor down side is that this is a huge establishment with a large team of dentists, orthodontists, and support staff, and rather packed schedules. As such, I've dealt with numerous hygienists and dentists (thank god my orthodontist has been the same!). This is mitigated by the fact that every one of the staff members I've dealt with are highly professional and deliver knowledgeable and amazing service! The Manchester Unity building is also one of the most beautiful refurb Art Deco buildings I've seen in Melbourne and Smile Solutions does a great job preserving the authenticity of this building while providing a comfortable environment!

It's a very relaxing space set up on the first floor of the historic art deco historic Manchester Unity Building in the CBD...it's worth a visit just to see the architectural features of this building! This is one fancy office. And yes, the other Yelpers are correct.... the lobby does smell like vanilla. My dentist and hygienist were both professional and did their genuine best to reduce any pain/discomfort. I had to get one of my fillings replaced, and opted to go with a porcelain filling, which they molded on site. It was a definite state of the art experience...this was the first practice I've been to that used cerec fillings...they digital scan your teeth to determine the shape of the filling and then 5 to 10 minutes later the filling is complete and ready to be placed in your mouth....no more sending a mold out to a lab, no temporary fillings, you're in and out quickly! The only reason for 4 stars and not 5 stars is the price. It's very expensive though I guess that's the cost of going to a Collins Street dentist.

I visited Dr Castro to have some old filings replaced on my four top front teeth. The plan was to…read moretreat two teeth in consecutive visits. I only did the two teeth and cancelled the follow up appointment as I was absolutely horrified with the results. When I went into the dental room, Dr Castro was sitting on one of the benches eating lunch (my appointment was around midday), and put her food aside to treat me. The two teeth were treated, but she did not show me the results of the procedure, as a lot of other dentists do. I thought this was odd, so I walked back to my office (I work in the CBD), keen to check out my 'new' smile. I knew as soon as I looked in the mirror why I had been ushered out of Dr Castro's practice without viewing my teeth - she had taken away too much of the tooth surface and the replacement fillings did not match the colour of my teeth, thus making my smile look very odd and unattractive. The two halves of the tooth surface looked completely different, making my teeth appear as half rotted. I cried and cancelled the follow up appointment. I had to visit another dentist to correct this and the whole procedure ended up costing me a lot more money, as well as compromising the structure of my teeth. My experience was absolutely horrible and distressing.
