Well priced but way too overcrowded. Reserved public skate prior to arriving but didn't make a difference because they obviously allow too many skaters. They should have a lower limit. Can't even skate safety. Children falling directly in front of you wherever you try to go. Workers were friendly and nice grounds/arena but they need to limit the amount of people allowed at public skate OR offer more public skate sessions. Not safe or fun. read more

Nice clean facility with plenty of parking. Restrooms were clean and easily accessible. Snack bar was reasonably priced. There was a b day party going on with lots of kids running around. read more

Old and tired. Came here to watch someone as they took lessons and the metal seats in the cold are not the friendliest to be sitting on!

Good skating lessons...Nice staff....good day trip for a rainy day. Make sure to bring warm clothes...it was colllddddd! Rental skates were old but bearable. Hopefully there will be more public ice times for the kids to come....they love it! read more

Flemington Ice students regularly place in the top rankings! My daughter loves it here. I love that it teaches the kids discipline and builds their confidence! The Director is extremely professional, and is committed to fair treatment of ALL skaters. This place has a great thing going but they need to do a better job with the day to day stuff. Outside the building should be clean, trash cans should be empty, counters should be staffed... You know, the basics. If you like hockey and ice skating you can spend the entire day here for next to nothing, but until they get the place running right, why would you? I do want to give a shout out to an amazing ref I saw at one of the local games. Craig R. was crushing the officiating game! It was like watching an NHL ref call the game... As a patron of the Flemington Ice Arena for greater than 10 years (even as a customer of the prior ownership) the attention to customer service and quality of ice is second to none. Being a travel hockey parent for a number of years and actually having clients that run recreational and ice arenas I've seen a lot of ice. Flemington Ice Arena is one of the few if not the only arena that makes you feel like you're among family. It draws you in to spending lots of time there but when you see the joy they bring your kids it's worth every minute. I'd recommend this arena to any ice skating enthusiast. read more

I can't say enough good things about my recent experience as a regular patron of Flemington Ice Arena. The ice quality first and foremost has been consistently amazing. The staff members are friendly and knowledgeable. There are daily public ice sessions and "stick time" sessions which are always at different times of the day.Julie D. is the Learn to Skate director and she does a fantastic job running the program. She is also a terrific private coach and is great with all ages from the very young to the most mature figure skaters (I am of the latter category). Flemington Ice Arena is a positive atmosphere for skaters and I look forward to getting there to practice skating whenever I can fit it in. read more

My rating for the figure skating program can only be 2 stars because it is a great starting point for beginner skaters. As the skaters become more advanced, finding a coach to help them successfully learn longer and more complex programs requires a professional who can help a family navigate the process. Our coach was instrumental, but it took PRACTICE! Hours of practice! How the management has treated my daughter's coach and other FIA skaters from our group are insulting and shows a lack of consideration for the families. We all invested much time and money at this rink for many years. Our coach has also dedicated her time and talents to cultivating positive habits in our young athletes. They are happy and confident in themselves to have achieved proud moments in the sport they enjoy. This situation has hurt many of our skaters in this community. We should admire and support them for continuing this sport even after the COVID lockdowns. The children are resilient, and I know they will become stronger from this unprofessional treatment by FIA, which has lowered the bar towards a member of their staff and loyal patrons through their insensitive, classless business tactic. read more

Best hockey program around. From learn to skate to in house to travel. The coaches are incredible! They teach the kids the kids great skills and have so much fun. We have tried a lot of sports with our little ones but have never had one where the coaches have as much fun as the kids! Great program! Great rink since it has changed ownership! Even had a birthday party there and the helpers were great and the party went so smoothly! Can't wait for the new pro-shop! Even the food is better!! read more

Some friends of mine gave their child a birthday party here. The staff was extremely helpful throughout the party. They even came on the ice with the birthday party attendees and assisted the less skilled skaters. Plenty of arcade games, the pizza was delicious and the customer service was great! read more

Flemington Ice skating program is improving, finally. They fired the idiot of a skating director-she really was clueless. Their current director is on top of things, she gets things done, and she knows what she's talking about. She's hired a wonderful staff and it's finally a positive and pleasant environment to be around. My children want be there now. Any negative reviews, especially this week and the coming weeks are disgruntled parents of a narcissistic guest coach that was banned from yet another rink. read more

I expected better, considering the Aspen Randolph rink was one of the better rinks my son played at last season. This rink only have one ice surface, the other rink was converted to an indoor soccer facility. Seating was non existent and it was freezing cold. As far as the facilities it has a concession stand and arcade games. The ice surface seem to be well maintain. In all it was average. read more

My children began skating at Flemington Ice about 2 years ago and we are now at the rink between two and three times per week. Julie, the skating director, is simply amazing. She has grown the programs and knows how to really engage with the children taking both group and private lessons. Her staff is great and the rink is very family friendly. I continue to see improvements throughout the facility and genuinely look forward to spending time on and off the ice with my family.
