Totally botched my case. Didn't even get proper documents to my doctor til a few days before the trial. Communication was terrible and when asked for assistance... i got none. I had the worst experience whth this firm. They did not return my cslls. WI was told not to say anything to the judge. He came to court with No medical evidence. The judge had to give him 30 days to get it. He did not know what I did for a living . He did not know how I was injured. Then they sent me a letter stating that I got a partially favorable decision. Our son picked Newlin & associates to represent him. They were not responsive in returning calls. After being told three times to include additional information they failed to use the extra information. When social security declined his claim they refused to continue his case. We found another lawyer and right away they found several things that Newlin and associates didn't do and took up the case. Maybe Newlin and associates should consider getting orange shoes and a red nose performing as a clown in a circus as they sure did a lousy job as lawyers. read more

I was a paralegal for 27 years prior to being stricken with trigeminal neuralgia which ultimately led to my hiring this firm in my quest for SS Disability benefits. I hired them in April of 2021. I completed all SSA Forms I received from the SSA without any help or direction from my attorney even after I requested to speak with an attorney. Several days later, usually after the "due date" imposed by SSA for the return of the completed form, I would receive the same form forwarded by this law firm for me to complete. I had already mailed my completed form in to SSA. In early September 2021 I contacted the firm via e-mail and I unloaded all my displeasure with the legal counsel I received. I expressed that I have never been able to speak with any attorney at this firm. If I had not completed all documents received from SSA and waited for this firm to forward said forms and documents for me to complete I could not have completed them within the time period imposed by the SSA. After this, I informed a "supervisor" at this firm of my concerns. I told him that I was not receiving any help and I am still waiting to speak tith my lawyer (Thomas Newlin) or any lawyer employed by the firm. I was receiving very limited help from support staff but was not allowed to speak with an attorney until I threatened to file a formal complaint with the Indiana Attorney Regulatory and Disciplinary Commissio. Now I get a call from Mr. Newlin wherein he states he is going to withdraw as my counsel ( I had already secured replacement counsel) and he planned to waive fees. They a joke as far as a law firm . They let deadlines pass on submitting things that in first place was they're place to cover. And if they do contact the sources they leave it up to clients to supply all the information. And sad. But I had case with them almost at least 2 yrs and had several different reps because tgey was either not working anymore or who knows. Steer clear of this bunch of so called lawyers. They make up excuses and like the first lawyer I went to court with. He flat out told me. You don't look disabled. Ya dressed to clean to be disabled. Well !! I've been raised to be presentable when going out in public places. Looks don't tell shit. But according to these incompetent people it means a lot. I hired these Yahoos over 4 years ago and they TOTALLY screwed me on me getting my disability, although I am more than qualified and my doctors are beside themselves. I had about 4-5 different paralegals and was NEVER notified, until I would check in on my status and was told that I do not have Brandi and have Josh, then Lateshia, then Stacy. And I made certain to continue emailing ALL my documents from 2012 -2017....My hearing finally came up last April and all the judge had in his hands were from 2012 and was DENIED!!! And at that time, I was still physically able to work, but barely. So...., where were all my documents up to 2017???? I was also accused by Stacy that I was committing fraud, as I was still working, but only 10 hours a WEEK and she still continued to accuse me, as North Carolina would have put me in prison. BUT I DO NOT LIVE IN NORTH CAROLINA!!! I live 5 states WEST from there!!! Obviously, she has NO CLUE ON STATE LAWS!! So, since I have been denied, I am having to appeal it and WAIT ANOTHER 18 months for another hearing!! And by the way, all those records that show ALL MY AILMENTS AND DOCTORS AND ER VISITS ALL ADD UP TO THE DIAGNOSIS OF LYMES DISEASE!!! Do yourselves a favor and find another firm to represent you if your filing for disability!!! This is the worst experience I've ever had with a law firm. They've done nothing except what I've done. No communication whatsoever unless I initiate it. No updates unless I contact them. I've asked to be released from their contract because I cannot believe that they would expect any type of payment for the work I have done. So if your filing for disability I urge you to go elsewhere. I regret hiring this firm every day!!! Also all I keep hearing from the girl that sometimes answers me back is " it's within the 2-9 month period that they give us". Run far far away. This is absolutely the worst experience I've ever had with any law firm!!! I hired Fleschner, Stark, Tanoos & Newlin in the middle of 2018 to help me with a claim. While the claim is still pending, I have been very happy with their professionalism, knowledge, response time, willingness to help, and they seem to actually care about the situation at hand. The great part is that they have handled everything, and have taken the pressure off of me to do all the legwork, phone calls, faxing, filling out forms etc. which has been a huge help. I have been working with Josh who is a senior case Manager and my interaction with him has been great. my first attempt at disability with them failed.my second attempt with them ended with me FIRING them.i went ahead on my own and got disability.then they have the balls to send me AFTER THE FACT the document to agree to their fee of six grand that shouldve been sent when the ball started rolling.they petitioned disability for their fee but givin the fact i showed the hearing judge that document after i fired them the judge told em go fuck yourselves,then they start sending me something in the mail numerous times,didnt bother opening/reading,just returned to sender with the refused delievery.they dont do anything but shuffle papers and charge six grand,money grubbing gold diggers trying to take well deserved money from legit disabled people.STEER CLEAR,THEY ARE OUT AN OUT THIEVES. read more
