They have a handful of cardio machines, some weight lifting machines and a rather small free weight area. The locker room is tiny, but then this gym isn't as crowded as inner city gyms are either. The equipment is in good condition and he place feels tidy and welcoming. Not as nice as the places in the central parts of Stockholm but a good "local branch". What's nice is that it has more windows than most gyms so the sunshine really comes in. I like that.

Now, I like the rough charm of "suburb gyms" where the machines are old and the weights are scratched - but the problem with this place is that it's too crammed. You have to squeeze yourself past other gym visitors and watch where you step or you'll trip over a preacher bench. Ventilation is horrible which caused me to sweat like an animal during my visit. Still, they've crammed a good set of machines into the place so there's the balance of options vs space. Maybe they should cut down on the options and opt for just a little more space. Also there's no proper bench and rack for bench press.

Upstairs are the cardio machines, an aerobics room and an area for some stretching/dumbbell training. Downstairs are more machines and they are of the charming "worn down" style which I actually like. A gym doesn't have to be pristine - a scratched 30 lbs weight is still 30 lbs. There's an elevator between the floors and tanning bed to rent. Downstairs there was a little room to hang stuff you might be carrying with you, and a tap/sink for drinking water. It all felt pretty nice and tidy. Minus for the expensive price of single admission (150 SEK), the attitude of the staff and the poor hours (at least on Saturdays, when they close at 5pm).

There's also a ladies only gym section that I for obvious reasons can't comment on the quality or even size of. The equipment is much more run-down than that of other facilities in the Fitness 24 Seven chain, the locker room is really small and I believe more people than usual walk in with outdoor shoes despite the ban. This gym has weights. Lifting weights will get you in shape. What more do you need? Well, if weights is all you need then all gym would get five stars. This is a sub-par gym in terms of tidiness, size and selection of equipment.
