In fact, customer service at Flight Centre Concord is positively average in every way. Sometimes, staff members act as though they couldn't care less about your business. I like that. Despite the disinterested service, I'm a repeat customer, I trust them. And I can't say that about too many places. The staff are relaxed, and you never feel the pressure of a hard sell. You probably won't even receive any of those annoying follow up calls and emails, pestering you to book the holiday with them. It's great. This poor salesmanship will ensure my business for years.

Positives: Nice onboard staff; Free wi-fi; New planes; Decent food; Comp beer & wine; No lost luggage; Negatives: The first flight departed 45 min late; I asked the gate agent to add my AA number to my flights. She was too busy playing with her phone to help me; The short SYD-MEL flight was the most turbulent, short flight I have ever been on. In addition, the landing was rough; I was denied lounge access. Based upon my info, I should have been given access via my AA status. I asked to buy day passes, and was denied; No announcement for baggage claim carousel; The second flight was the longest of the three, and luckily it was on time. Nonetheless, the hard landing makes me think thats the way they do things Down Under (LOL); On the last intra-country flight, the temp was warm. Nonetheless, it did arrive on time, and the landing was smooth. Overall, a good experience, but there was room for improvement. I would rather fly on the national carriers when I am overseas. The national carriers have newer equipment and better service IMHO.

Flight Centre Warringah Mall is absolutely fantastic, and I honestly cannot recommend it highly enough. When I went in with thousands of vague questions about my potentially upcoming trip to the States, the staff of Flight Centre Warringah Mall were incredibly helpful and informative. «Maybe... the west coast. But I definitely want to go to Chicago! And New York! But I don't want to fly out of JFK. But I do want to do a tour; but not a Contiki. Or one with old people.» How annoying do I sound? I was most definitely the biggest pain in that travel agent's behind, but not once did she give me the vibe that I was - rather, she smiled, laughed, suggeted altermatives, made calls for me and was just really, really good at her job. Although my primary interaction was with a particular staff member, the others in the store were also happy to comment, help her out and have a chat with me. I was also impressed by the lack of pushiness I experienced; no pressure to BUY NOW, just a calm and friendly collection of my contact details. I will most definitely be planning any further travel I have through Flight Centre Warringah Mall.
