Moved all of my heavy crap up 4 flights of stairs -- they acted like it was nothing. I climbed the stairs once and almost had a heart attack while drenched in my own tears and sweat. When there was a pop up shower, they did nothing to protect the furniture. When wrapping the white silk sofa, they dropped the cushions on the muddy floor. They chipped the marble on the coffee table and a concrete outdoor pedestal. They even broke a concrete urn. The movers toward the end were rude and dismissive. When I called the owner to ask how I would be compensated for the items that were damaged or destroyed he agreed to repair 3 items and gave me $50.00 for the urn. He did not repair the 3 items. WARNING: Unless you want your furniture destroyed, DO NOT HIRE THEM!!!!

Personally we would never use them again. The guys who packed the truck in Washington State outshines them by far, and for less money. They charged $70/hour for fantastic service, compared to $117/hour for mediocre service. I thought cost of living in Kansas is low, but their labor cost is high.... go figure.

During the cold snap a few weeks ago, a sprinkler line burst causing an absolute mess! After a discussion about the situation we decided it was time to speed up our transfer. Our neighbors across the hall had to be moved immediately due to the damage to their apartment and I found my friends from Door2Door in the hallway moving them. I hired them on the spot. They moved me down four flights of stairs since the elevator wasn't functional and into the building next door in 2 hours! They worked like nothing I've ever seen! I sent over a list of items that I needed moved, & Simlog was able to provide me with an estimated flat rate. The estimated flat rate was my biggest deciding factor because I've felt that previous moving companies tend to draw out the time since they charge on an hourly basis. In addition, Simlog also gave me a 20% discount as a first time customer. The movers were great about taking care of my furniture & being respectful of the walls & flooring in both my new house & my old house. I had most of my boxes packed, but the movers did a great job with packing the "odds & ends" items that were not packed. The movers also did a great job with cleaning up after themselves & putting the boxes & furniture in the rooms that I requested.
