I get the paper on Sundays. This Sunday morning our paper didn't come so I called and reported at 8:30. Was told they would have it sent out. Nothing by 10:45 so called again the gal said it was to be delivered today. It's now 5:00 and still no paper. I have had wet papers because the were half out of the paper tube. It seems like the whole journal is going down hill. Papers get smaller and the price goes up. read more

Flint journal has not delivered the newspaper in almost a month. I've made multiple complaints. I'm always assured it will be delivered the following delivery day, it is not. Also they say they will credit my account, they do neither. They always assure me a representative will call within 48 hours,they don't. I would not recommend the flint journal or any MLive paper. They are trying to force you to only read it online. I'd rather pay for and read and pay for the Detroit news, it's a much better paper. read more

Quite possibly the worst paper in existence. What ever happened to honest journalism? This cheap crap that they publish isn't even factual most of the time rather it's just some political twist on everything. I miss the days of seeing news stories both good and bad, that are factual and unopinionated. And the fact that they continue to throw the junk in my driveway every week even after asking them to stop several times, irritates me tremendously. I would give a negative 1 but I am forced to give a 1, I paided in full for thrusday though sunday delivery and have never received the paper not one time even. They refuse to give me a refund and now at this point have billed me 10. And some change. I've been dealing with this incorrect matter for over a month. And by the way the delivery person has lied and said the paper's been being delivered and instead of GPS'ing them to track there routes they believe them over there customers. Started my Sunday paper two weeks ago and have not seen a paper yet!!!! They want their $14.95 up front on a credit card. The first week I called and the recording told me were sorry but we can't deliver the paper today so we will credit your account. Really? I just started the paper!!!! So I call Monday to talk to a live person. She would not listen to me saying I just wanted to cancel after all the past experiences with the journal. She gave me an extra week and promised the paper would be there this Sunday on my porch!!! No paper again!!!! Call again and get automated message telling me were sorry but we can't deliver your paper today again!!!!! We will give you a credit for today. Bullcrap I wanted the paper not a credit. I've been a flint journal subscriber for over 20yrs until now. They were charging so much for the puny weekly papers that I went to Sunday only Over a year ago. The price was $24.95 every 5 weeks for a paper that barely had any adds. So after they wanted to raise my sub price to $28 I told them to cancel after my current sub. When it Ran out which would have been on 10/06. Of course I was out of town and did not receive the last paper ever. So much for this so called news paper as I will never subscribe again. read more

I had been a Flint Journal subscriber for over 40 years. I never had any problems until Nov. 2018 - not receiving papers - paper in bushes - paper on roof - EVERYWHERE but on front porch ! I was constantly calling the Flint Journal about delivery issues - They didn't care. After dealing with this for 3 months, I decided it was time to cancel. FYI - All the "credits" you receive are NOT refundable ! There were at least a total of 5 weeks of newspapers I had not received. You still have to pay for these newspapers you did not receive. Will never, ever do business with this company again. Had to call more than once before they would cancel the delivery of their paper. Then they continued to bill my charge card. Had to call multiple times to have the charges removed and they didn't remove the entire amount. Still getting billed. There's no way to contact them other than by phone and the wait time is extremely long. Then I'm told it's taken care of only to find they continue to bill me for a paper I don't want and am not getting. read more

Do NOT order the Flint Journal. Read the Reviews 1st!!!!!!! I Ordered a Subscription, paid in Full for 6 months, and never even received ONE Newspaper. When I called to ask about my paper that I was supposed to get on Sunday, I was told someone would bring one out--that was Monday. No paper (and office closed at 5:00 p.m.). Called the next day....Again--No paper. Called Wednesday to cancel. Told it would take a few weeks to receive my Refund. Got back the Refund, but $6.54 was kept by the Flint Journal for--an "Activation Fee". Doesn't "Activation" mean--"Start"? How can something be 'Started' ("Activated") and I not even receive one item of the product? Called to question that today.......told by Supervisor Ashley that she would forward my "Request" to the Finance Department. Asked: "How would I know if they were going to Refund that?". She said I'd just have to wait and call her office back in 10 days. Also, they sold me a "TV Guide" which is connected with a totally Different company, but hadn't told me that when they sold the product, And yet deducted the money out of my account, on behalf of that company, at the same time I paid for my Subscription.
