I've bought a few Deadly Ponies handbags from this place but mostly because I can't be bothered to find out who else stocks them. In general I find the pieces here to be a mixed bag.. either cool designs from up and coming labels or overpriced basics. Which is a shame because I remember a few years ago thinking that Superette used to stock the coolest stuff, or maybe it was just labels releasing cooler clothes. Now whenever I think of Superette I just think of it as the place where EGGS girls come to buy their party dresses. This place stocks 'unique' stuff for the masses of bunheaded girls who want to spice up their Glassons outfits.

This is probably the only shop my partner and I can go in to and both spend ages and ages in. We just want everything in there! I love it because they've got some gorgeous tops and dresses that you just wouldn't be able to find in any other stores. I recently bought a lovely white laser-cut sundress in there and I haven't stopped wearing it all summer. It's generally quite expensive, but it's really great quality stuff and really unique, as if everything bought in has had a lot of thought put into it. I also love how the staff just leave me browse at my own leisure but are always there to help when I (inevitably) want to try something on or ask questions about the products. My partner loves it because they've got some really special mens pieces from good streetwear brands such as Vans and OFWGKTA. And we both love it in equal measure because of their amazing trainers and high-tops. Honestly, I'd live in this shop if I could.

They have a unique range of cute and girly dresses, blouses and bottoms which all go well nicely with each other; however sadly a large percentage of the stock is made out of my arch nemisis, also known as polyester. Considering this fabric is the norm in the shop, prices aren't that cheap, so generally I stick to the sale racks or hunt down the few pieces made out of cotton. The service here is great though, much more friendly and tailored than a lot of the other places in the area.

The clothes weren't cheap. There were some gorgeous little dresses - they looked especially beautiful on the mannequins. For the first few minutes I felt quite ignored... which is weird, because in such a small space I sort of expected to be greeted straight away. As soon as I started sifting through the sales rack someone hurried over and started giving me details on the sale and asking if I wanted to try anything on. I took a fancy for two dresses, both orange and stunning. They were $90 each marked down from $180! Bargain alert. I didn't end up getting either of them (my conscious kicked in and asked "do you really need these"?) but I'm glad I discovered the shop! Their shop is spacious and I like how things are sorted by colour. Then I can just go to the area that appeals to me! What I do find odd though is the sizing. Things are sized 1,2,3 etc and it is not easy to tell what that really means unless you try things on. And unlike other stores, I can't buy things here without trying on - a size 2 isn't necessarily the same fit for all garments. Great quality fabrics though - some items that I've had for years are still going strong.

This brand seems to be a more higher tier than your average House of G and prices can be steep , but if your after something that will last a few seasons and a spin on the fast cycle in the washing machine then Storm might be your very fancy bag . Some stuff can be a bit frou frou but they have good fabrics and well thought out designs . Always worth a peek .

Unfortunately, everything is extremely pricey, so despite being flawed by that dress or ornament, you'd need to be making quite a lot of cash in order to buy it. The service was okay, but I find they are usually only interested in poshly dressed customers. I find this interesting considering their peeling storefront and lack of buyers. Still, I enjoy having a squiz at their collection on a lazy Saturday morning or during Midnight Madness each year.

They have an absolutely drool-worthy children's section in the front corner opposite the door, filled with, well, really girly stuff mostly - Flower Fairies merchandise, from cups and stickers, to party ware and gifts, features strongly. Big love. The giftware and homeware in the rest of the front section of the ship is tasteful but edging towards the pricier side. Then right at the back of the shop they have a rather surprising women's clothing section. It's mother-of-the-bride-who-is-quite-wealthy type stuff, and some other formal pieces with hefty price tags. I could probably find something I liked there, but I get that dreaded feeling that I would get home, put it on, and feel instantly 20 years older.

The shop assistants always greet you with a sweet hello and are very quick to help or let you know there's a sale on. And when they have a sale you should jump at it. The prices can get so low and you can find some great unique clothes for the same amount as what you'd pay at The Warehouse. They do the best winter coats, as I guess they're coming from Asia where the winter is a bit more of a big deal than here. They also sell shoes, handbags, jewelry, skirts - everything a girl could want.

What really caught my eye was the big SALE signs on the window. Other than those large letters the shop is pretty sneakily snuck in there and on first glance can be easily missed. I went in (because of the sale signs) and had a look around. I was very impressed with what I was seeing. It was a collection of really unique clothes. They were all pretty funky and there were quite a few things I would have loved to take home. The only thing was there were no sale signs or stickers inside. All the pricetags were labelled with what looked like original prices and they were all up in the $150 range. I looked around for a sales rack, couldn't find one, and eventually turned to the lady and asked where the sale items were. She spread her arms and said "all of them". Hmmmm... It just didn't look like it. A sale boasting up to 50% off and there were no stickers on any of the garments and only one standard price tag on each piece? I left feeling a tad disheartened but decided I really liked the clothes and I would return again and see what the prices are up to.
