We enjoyed our lunch here beyond our expectations. Neither of us speak a word in German; but our server spoke English with a warm smile which made reading the German menu and accommodating my dietary restrictions effortless, and even fun! They have lactose free milk and a yummy gluten free cake, fresh salads and tasty paninis together with a friendly and lively atmosphere and great location... Kleine Spezialitäten wie die Dinkelrübe mit Karotten und Walnüssen sollen die Kunden genauso überzeugen, wie unser Hausbrot! In der großen Kuchen und Tortentheke zeigen unsere Konditoren ihr Können. If you want to realx and enjoy a great cup of coffee, there is no better place in Esslingen to go than the Flo Backkultur and Kaffeegluck. The cases are full of delicious cakes and pastries. The friendly staff as well as the owner, Petra, are always available to give you a smile or to sit down and share a story. As an American in Esslingen, I love sitting in Flo's and sipping my coffe. I can improve my German speaking skills while enjoying my coffee. The cheesecake is the best I have ever had anywhere in the world. Don't let me forget that every week, the Sunday buffet packs the house. The price is low and it is all you can eat. Best buffett in all of Germany! If you are in the area, check it out!
