After calling multiple roofing companies all around, Hans Peterson and his Wayland based Peterson Remodeling and Roofing company agreed to come out, on a Sunday for what was quickly escalating into an emergency situation here. He had initially explained that every company, including his own, was completely out straight for almost two weeks at that point, BUT, he'd be there. When he and his 4 man crew arrived, he explained to me every aspect of what they were to do, allaying my concerns regarding some horror stories some had mentioned to me involving some other, less skilled and experienced ice dam removal jobs. Not only did they get the job done relatively quickly, I was pretty impressed at the efficiency of this crew going from one section to the next, clearing the massive chunks of ice, all while carefully protecting the surrounding gardens my wife and I worked so hard over the years to plant and maintain! They covered and protected the external heat pump and even cleared all the gas and water line areas! Unexpected and highly appreciated. When all was said and done, I fully expected the price to be astronomical for the amount of folks involved, and the time they needed for our weird shaped, multi leveled roof etc, but was pleasantly suprised, once again, by the number. After, while cutting the check, he took the time to point out all the water damage issues that could go unseen, and made sure to stress the importance of the removal and replacement of insulation spots and electrical assessment. Needless to say, at this point, we knew we had found "our guy" to handle getting our house back into order. He certainly was less expensive than 2 others we had quotes form, but sometimes the cheapest option, doesn't have a reputation to match. Hans is very personable, his team was professional and he was respectful of our property and our home. He's also a pleasure to work with. I'd highly recommend him to anyone looking to get the job done RIGHT and in a very very reasonable amount of time. He did my entire roof (we have 2 skylights and two chimneys on a 100+ year old house), two rooms on the interior and replaced a their very difficult window, in 4 days. It did not take them long to do the patching, (I did not need a new roof) and the leaking has stopped. I only talked with the owner, and he is very friendly and candid. Once my girlfriend and I decided it was time to replace our roof, we contact a few contractors to get estimates. From the very beginning Done Right Roofing (DRR), was totally focused on customer service. When we received the estimate, we also received several other PDF documents from them including references, color option information, a certificate from the BBB, client addresses where we could see the color options in person and more. The list of references wasn't just 10 or 20 names ... it was more like 400!! It's worth mentioning that DRR was also the least expensive estimate we received. I got a very nice follow up call from Jim to check in and ask if we'd made our decision. Of course we had and booked the date. Jim went over what we should expect and how we should prepare for the day. The crew and materials arrived at the time and they began work around 7:30am. The work went very fast! They finished our detached garage by 11am and the entire job was complete and cleaned up by 2:30pm. We couldn't believe how fast it all happened. There was a "walk around" after the job was completed to make sure we were satisfied, which we definitely were and still are. The roof looks fantastic and we're completely satisfied with everything DRR did for us. As I mentioned in the beginning, we highly recommend them!!

First impressions last and Done Right didn't disappoint ... they actually picked up the phone when I called! A stark contrast to the half dozen other vendors I called. This is a real contrast to their competitors. Within 24 hours the owner, John Mancini, was at my property to assess wind damage. Fast forward another 24 hours and John was working with my insurance agent to negotiate a complete roof replacement! The job was done in a timely manner with a very high level of quality. My yard wasn't destroyed; there weren't nails all over the place and the new roof looked spectacular! The only issue I had was with my DirecTV dish. During the replacement the dish was reinstalled and could no longer get a clear line of sight. After a series of issues with the provider and the placement of the dish due to nuances of my property I had to move on from the service. While this was certainly not Done Right's problem or responsibility they graciously came over, removed the dish and placed new shingles where the dish was to ensure a roof done right! I can't imagine many other roofing companies would do this. Kudos to the Done Right team! Lastly, my wife and I had a baby during our install and Done Right sent us a very nice card congratulating us. How thoughtful is that?! They say you'll forget what people say to you but you'll never forget how they made you feel. Rest assured we will never forget our experience with Done Right and highly recommend them to anyone in need of a roofing company. They are our roofing company moving forward and they should be yours as well.

Absolutely worst contractor I ever hired. He would disappear for weeks and even months on end, not…read morereturning phone calls or emails. We signed a contract in March of 2021 and he did not finish the project until April of 2022, a single bathroom remodel. In the course of demo for remodel, his crew cut through pipes and live wires. His crew attempted to conceal the issues by wrapping painters tape around water pipes, which resulted in flooding my downstairs. His crew left expose live wires with painters tape on them as a their fix and left my house in a potentially dangerous situation. Upon me expressing my concerns, he threaten to walk away and drop the contract. I was forced to continue the project, due to the fact he had caused more damage, than he made improvements at that point. He would constantly attempt to cut ever corner he could in rectifying it. Other than some unqualified laborers, he has no one on his payroll, he is simply calling contractors you could call yourself, with little to no planning and scheduling. This resulted in large delays between each phase and most sub contractor were so frustrated with him, they did not want to work for him. If it wasn't for constant calling and emailing him and his sub contractors directly, managing the project on our own, it would have never got done. What work him and his actual crew, of unqualified laborers did, was sub par and leaves us questioning what I did not see. I have not even finished expressing how bad every aspect of this project was, do not believe a word he says. I wish I could give negative stars. It's been about 2 years since 4th gen family had replaced our roof. They did an extremely…read moreprofessional job. I did my research before and they were able to meet my needs and install the ridge vents I requested. They also inspected the damage and previous owners mistakes to my roof and were able to repair anything (An entire overhaul was needed including roof decking which only added an extra day of work). I constantly check for leaks especially along the flashing and they did such an excellent job. I looked up only the proper way to do things like flashing and they are doing everything to best practices. My only complaint and minor was that the cleanup they missed some pieces of roofing in my bushes but not a big deal I just tossed it. Their price was absolutely reasonable for everything as well and one of the more reliable and cheaper quotes we went with. It took me a while to write this review because I've been constantly inspecting to make sure there were no leaks or issues, and there have been absolutely none. I would highly recommend and plan on using them in the future but that looks like it won't be for my roof!
