We stopped by at around 9am on a Saturday, the market was fairly crowded with stalls selling antiques, cameras, prints, clothes, accessories etc. Even though it's a flea market things are still a little on the pricier side. We came back around 2pm and found that most of the prices in the shops had been dropped by half. The sellers are looking to make a sale before the market closes so I would recommend trying your luck a little before closing time. At the end of it all we found an antique collectible toy car, an old print, a small decorative vase and an antique mug all for 27 CHF.

I'd stay away from coming here too much for lunch, as you will sooner or later feel sick of eating the same selections to a point it will come out of your nose. If you are looking for lunch "take away", I'd rather suggest Vital Punkt right across the street (in front of the Stockerstrasse tram stop) for wraps, sandwiches, sushi, salads, hot foods and soups instead. It feels more fresh and is more tasty/less "processed". However, Vital Punkt sells out quickly, so this place is an "A-OK" back up for a quick one stop shop for food, fruit and other necessities. The range is complemented by handpicked items from international brands that you won't find anywhere else in Zurich like Heeley Eau de Parfum, Archie Grand or Jewelberry. There are lots of lovely and hard-to-find items here. Another thing I love about Townhouse is that they are always incredibly welcoming and helpful, no matter if you just want to browse or how much or how little you end up buying; this is no small feat in Zurich, where shop owners/assistants are often a little grumpy or not very welcoming.

The traditional classic Gucci styles as well as more contemporary and modern lines are equally prevalent. From what I've seen, the scope of the overall selection as well as the designs of many models presented here are better than at Gucci shops in London. However, this store is almost always crowded with shoppers and the sales staff could be more polite and efficient. I never waited for as long as half an hour to pay for my purchases before at a high end boutique. Yet, the excellent choice of items offered here makes this shop definitely worth visiting.

From what I gather, it may be one of the only bike shops in town open on Monday, so one might wish to call ahead if a same-day repair is desired. The young very tall guy that took care of us was so nice , and so patient while my daughter and I chose the perfect cuckoo clock ! It was a wonderful experience ! We loved him !!! We had the clock delivered and upon delivery one of the chains Came loose .. we called and spoke to Christian the owner who was wonderful and so patient .. he walked my husband through each step and how to connect the chain back onto the wheel ! I love this store and I'm so glad that I returned 40 years later with my daughter ! If In Zurich this is the place to get all your souvenirs! Thank you so much for keeping my memory alive !
