They can't find my account, not surprising I have meet with the store management 3 times and the Pro Service even more this is an inept organization. Brought in my contract and signed quote on Wednesday to meet again with the management, they resolved nothing. They said they pulled strings to get the installer company to perform the work in 6 weeks which would take the entire process over 4 1/2 months for counter tops. Here is the best part we showed that we signed the work order on July 9th to accept the measurements and move forward with fabrication, they gave me a call two days ago and said you need to pay in full before we can start. I met with the manager and he said yes you must pay the installer in full today for the hopes they show up in another 6 weeks. The installer is Valley Install they would not answer a call or return a call for 6 weeks why would I feel confident I could give them over $5,000 plus upfront and expect them to perform. I went to Home Depot the next day, met with a designer the next day, picked out material set up home measurement visit got an appt on the calendar 4 days from now and install set up for Sept 26th. Oh and saved $700.00, Home Depot knows how to service a customer. Shame on me for not going there first. FYI at FLoor and Decor I had already spent $2,000 on Tile and Flooring in June so it's not like I am a 1st time customer. Home Depot thank you. read more

Lauren, I don't know what her title was but she was knowledgeable, and super helpful, showing me different tiles, water proof floor materials. Horrible people working at the warehouse. Went in to get some flooring. At the time of payment the cashier informed me that I might need to wait about 1 hour to pickup the flooring. I said no problem. I didn't mind waiting. When t handed over my invoice to the person at the warehouse also informed me that I might have to wait 1 hour. I said no problem. So I waited and Carlos comes out with my order and start yelling at me. He is yelling saying that orders are pulled first come first served. I said no problem and I wasn't expecting preferential treatment. He still didn't stop. At that time Since I felt threatened because he almost assaulted me. I got into my van and left. WOW whoever the manager is,he or she needs to get this situation under control before Carlos does something physical to the customers. I have purchased so many items from the Milpitas store and never had a bad experience. This is scary. read more

Terrible customer service This was our first time at this store shopping for floor tiles, we were looking around and asked for help when a lady named "Nikki" came to help us. She said she was new and helped us much as she could. We decided we didn't like the options they had so we decided to leave. After we thanked Nikki for her help and told her we were leaving, she called the manager and apparently told him that we had called her "stupid"?! This was very random and caught us by surprise. He came up to us and said Nikki got very upset at us and that we should've been nicer to her. We would never say anything like that and this was very humiliating. read more

Every single person I have spoken with here is super helpful. Don tried endlessly to find a specific color of tile that, it turns out, is no longer made by the manufacturer. Jennifer has exquisite taste and guided me so well that I asked her to just pick out the grout and trim and order it for us. I didn't even know what it was until our contractor installed it and it looks great! Carlos was amazing. The sample backsplash I had from Wayfair that I fell in love with (and designed both bathrooms around) was discontinued. I came to Floor and Decor disappointed and frustrated. Carlos not only found a good replacement, but came up with all sorts of additional creative ideas. The backsplash he chose was better than the original! Of all the many, many vendors we dealt with during our remodel, this was one of our top two. read more

I bought some tiles and grout that they had as a display. The grout in the display was different than what they had listed on the display. When my contractor started using the grout, and used a portion of one of the buckets when I realized it was different than what I thought I purchased and it turns out it was different than the grout which was actually in their display. I called the store many times, but nobody answered the phone. I ordered the grout I thought was in the display on the internet planning I'd just go to the store and basically exchange it. I then went to the store with one unused bucket and one partially used bucket to return. I spoke with the cashiers and the manager on duty and they would not refund the partially used bucket. I asked why and they just said they won't. I looked up their return policy and it says they will not return because it was not in useable form. That's right, i couldn't use it because it's not what they advertised, so i guess they hook you by falsely advertising their products. The display losted a different color product thatn wjat was shown in the display. The price of the item i was returning was only fifty dollars and the people who work there should be able to understand I wasn't trying to get away with stealing things because i had pictures and had another bucket of unused grout to return. Anyway, I guess this company hores people who do not about their customers. This was definitely false advertising. I think I'll report them to the BBB as well.....oh wait, i just looked them up and they have an F with the BBB and they are not accredited. Too bad, they have some nice stuff but are poorly run. Im still pissed they won't give me my money back. I hope they rot in hell! read more

This is the most frustrating store to shop. No one answers the phone when you track your order and the system automatically hangs up. I told their customer service this when I called but I guess they don't care because it still wasn't fixed. We ordered our floors way back in May and was suppose to be del beginning of June. It was pushed back for a month and now it's been almost 3 mos and still no status. They said a manager will call me back but never heard back. They said they can get from another location but they want YOU to pay for the transportation cost. read more

Horrible experience! We had 9 boxes of unopened flooring to return and they refused to offer us money back or even store credit because it had been over 90 days (which wasn't our fault that our contractor overestimated how much we'd need and did not start the job right away). They still have the same flooring for sale on their floors! We were assured by an employee when we made the purchase that as long as it was unopened and in stock that we could return it. They gave us some phone numbers to call but basically said there is nothing they can do and sent us home with almost $900 in flooring. read more

While in theory I love this store and the fact that they have so much stuff you can actually see and purchase there, they are really short-staffed and finding help can be challenging (hence my 3-stars). After walking the entire store 2x looking for staff I finally found an incredibly eager and helpful young woman (Melissa) who went the extra mile helping me find a backsplash when the only one on the floor was damaged. Though it took quite some time for her to both get a scanner to identify the item then to get the warehouse/forklift help she needed (not all staff can operate the equipment and they are very short staffed) once down from the rafters, she was able to identify the product and took the extra time to sort through the shipment to find just the right piece of marble to match my vanity top--and walked it out to my car to insure my hands weren't cut. Really, so nice and great customer service. I wish her nothing but success in her future endeavors and hope that Floor & Decor (Manager Zach) appreciates staff like Melissa for going the extra mile---she sure did today and I am so appreciative. read more

Bad customer service, called regarding the order that was not fulfilled, called numerous times no one picked up. When I finally get someone to pick up they said that my order should be ready by the time I get to the store. I could not be happier with the service I received at Floor and Decor Pleasant Hill , CA. I was helped in particular by Melissa L in Design Consulting through initial selection of tile and grout; changes to trim and grout and lastly help in selection of Maipai color sealant. Austin was also helpful in maintaining contact. I expect the products to be the best and they are. When I returned unused tile and trim I was assisted by Carlos. Ummmmm. This place sucks. It's impossible to actually buy any product because they don't restock their shelves. The website says they have 1100 pieces in stock and when you get there, there are two boxes. The employees hide in the back and don't want to help. Ordered 2 boxes of tile online. Drove out to pick up the items and the associate informed me the order was "on hold" because the product was discontinued. What does that mean? Your location is showing 150 pieces in stock to which he responds "well you can go look for it on the floor". I get this isn't your dream job and you're miserable but damn. GTFO with your nonsense. I ordered 16 boxes of flooring on line and paid for the complete order. I did a will call order so I could just stop by quickly and pick it up and go. I am a contractor and have men waiting for materials. I received the email telling me my order is ready to pickup. I drive over and waited for 45Min. and no one could go get my 16 boxes and put in my truck. Other customers came and went but no one would bring my order. I waited to talk to the store manager but he was more interested in flirting with female customers or he knew I was pissed and was avoiding me. Absolutely the poorest customer service and support possible. I spent over an hour on hold across several attempts in single day to get an order delivery issue corrected. Paid $120+ for shipping of 175 tiles and the tiles were not shipped; they were instead delivered to another store. Spoke to a store employee posing as the store manager of Pleasant Hill store who promised to get back to me within a few minutes, and never did. Only after sending an email to corporate did a few days later, the real store manager reach out via email. He attempted to fix the situation expeditiously and I give him points for trying, but the experience was a disappointment. I have the best experience with the complimentary design service by Jennifer Gosiengfiao this morning. She is the best example for how a stellar customer service should be like. She greeted us with a big smile, took notes of all of ideas, and made great recommendations for our bathroom remodeling project. I also love Floor and Decor store. I have remodeled several bathrooms and I always come back here as the price is reasonable, the items are available so I dont have to wait several weeks for the items to come, there are a wide variety of options to choose from. It's massive, has a huge variety of all different tiles and hardwood flooring. SO many colors! I had a question about grout as well and one of the employees was so helpful. I wish I found this place at the beginning of my renovation. All the tiles I ordered from small stores were delayed due to port issues. Thankfully I found this place and it's awesome. They have a huge selection and everything right there in stock. Beautiful showroom with sample bathrooms and half kitchens. You can look online first to see if they have it in stock and if not just get it from one of the other stores. Their prices are low too. So far everyone I've met has been very helpful. Recenlty remodeled our bathroom using 16" x 24" travertine tiles.  It took some time to get to the finish line, but we are very pleased with the results! My husband and I visited the store to look at products for a bathroom remodel. Store is huge with lots of product. No employees were around to help(a current theme I see on yelp reviews) and we noticed they offer free design services so we decided to schedule an appointment instead. Our designer, Jenny, was amazing and so helpful. We ended up ordering everything we picked out online a couple days later. However trying to reach the store by phone after that is impossible. We needed help on additional product we needed and no one would answer the phone. I'm trying to get an order update and no one will answer. Phone rings awhile then hangs up. I've called over 10 times in last few days and happens every time. Don't give the option to talk to a person if it's not an option. Absolutely ridiculous and poor customer service. I just hope I don't have an issue with my order pickup. I don't want to regret my purchase decision. read more

I have been buying tons of products from Floor and Decor. I have spend thousands of dollars at their stores, I will no longer be a customer. I purchased $2500 worth of tile for a vanity project in January, I tried returning unopened boxes worth $1100 . They tell me because of the 90 day window they can do nothing and I have to eat my money. They give me a number to call, I call the number which is not even affiliated with floor and decor, some call center in India. They tell me the same story and to write a letter. So basically jumping through hoops for nothing. I bet if I didn't pay for the items and stole them they would probly have given me store credit, horrible. Never read more

I would like to write an update to my original review. I received a standard response from a "Business Owner" at Floor & Decor. It was obvious that they did not even read my review as the response did not address any of my issues. I guess the most disappointing thing about this is that they don't care about customer service. They wouldn't even let me return 3 boxes that they shipped to me of the wrong color. That was clearly their fault and they won't let me return it. A beautiful store with a beautiful affordable collections of tiles. Store manager Todd is extremely nice, friendly, knowledgeable and super supportive. The staff at cash register Joann and Janeta are so rude, disrespectful, arrogant and doesn't know what customer service is. These two are ruining the reputation of this beautiful business. When I was taking to a manager about a product, Joann was constantly disrupting me and being so disrespectful. When I ask the other lady that I had a question about a product and would like to see an associate, she flat out said " you can't tell me what to do". I was shocked and very disappointed. I am not sure if store failed to provide these associates some basic customer service skills or they just simply don't care about their job.
