The contract (also stated on his website) said he'd provide a dustfree, high quality service, and a range of aftercare products would be included in the price. What I got instead was a demand for "cash only" (so he doesn't have to declare it on his taxes?), a splotchy colored floor (which he blamed on cat urine!) holes/gaps in the floor not filled in (as promised and as paid for), no after care products despite numerous follow-up phone calls to remind him, floor stain spilled onto the windowsill staining it, my Calvin Klein bathtowel gone missing (his workers took it home with their stuff) and more dust than an Iraqi desert in a windstorm. Seriously, it took two days of hoovering and cleaning to clean up after his "dust free" service. Sammy is a big namedropper (claims to do work for Selfridges and numerous middle eastern princes in London) but when you see the final product, you'll realize you were just done, plain and simple. Do yourself a favor and walk, don't run, as fast as you can from this charlatan. He belongs in a market in Beruit selling trinkets and haggling over the price, not doing floors in expensive flats in London.

Came over for the original quote and rushed in and out in 5 minutes since he was on a parking meter. Said he'd email over a quote. This never happened. (Every day I'd ask him to email over details and to this day I've yet to receive a single thing from him). I was up against a very tight time line so reluctantly agreed to go ahead with him. Originally I wanted him to do an entire 3 bedroom flat however thankfully only did one bedroom with him and used another company. We agreed £350 for the first room. He sent his guys over to do the first room and they did the sanding back and then they oiled the floor. I was not happy with the work since the glue had come out of the gaps and marked some of the blocks and still remains. They were meant to come back to oil the floor again. They failed to turn up the next day. I then had to call and was promised he'd come the next day. His guy failed to turn up again (due to a hangover!). He finally turned up at the 3rd time of asking. After completing the work on the day the workman asked for £450. Obviously £100 more than agreed. I called Sammy and he then said that he had to pay the guys £450 a day and that the £100 would be put forward for the next rooms. I reluctantly agreed since I was running out of time. Since we were still in the property we had to move things around and therefore do a room at a time. Sammy knew this but then when it came to doing one of the smaller rooms he hit the roof and started saying some nonsense that he can only do a minimum size each day which he never mentioned before. He was always aware of the plan and the size of each room. I then decided to go with someone else to do the floors. I called Sammy asking for my £100 back....He then started swearing (including the C word) and said that every job has a (rather convenient) minimum £450 fee. I was never informed of this EVER! He said it was on his website which is a complete LIE! I have taken screen grabs of his website and there is not a single mention anywhere about a minimum fee! He said he'd come over to discuss the matter and show me invoices etc. to convince me that I was not due my £100 back. I have no idea how these other invoices would prove anything but I told him to come over. He promised over 10 times to come over and failed to turn up every time. Avoid like the plague! Bad workmanship, bad customer service, bad owner, bad everything. Treats customers with utter contempt and will lie and cheat repeatedly. Also asked for cash only since he doesn't want to declare the money.
