The upstairs dining area is a round table for larger parties set in a 70's themed kitchen: brilliant. Even the dishes have a corresponding character: Papa Jolie, Papa Selena, and the super chichona Papa Pamela.
The food is where the Papa Guapa falls a little short. Everything is based on the potato, which is a sensitive star player: it can be really bland so it has to be a stellar spud to shine. You can choose between a mashed potato bowl with all the toppings mixed in or a baked potato and while the concepts sound tantalizing, it really just ends up being too much potato and the result is rather boring.
It's a bit expensive as well, we ended up paying about $60 for 4 potatoes, 3 Nutella milkshakes, a beer and a kids meal.
As unimpressed as I was with the food, I love the concept too much to hate. It's a fun experience but Satelite has tons of tastier options.
