Great drive through coffee spot near Missoula! I stopped here after getting gas next door for a little pick me up on my drive back to Bozeman. The baristas were super friendly and nice and I loved the quality of the coffee. I got a dirty chai latte with oat milk and appreciated that you can choose between vanilla or spice. I got the vanilla and it was incredible. I also tried the lemon poppy seed muffin too which was delicious and so moist. It was the perfect road trip snack! read more

I've known many people who have worked there throughout the years in the Bitteroot and Missoula. Management and even some of the girls that were there for more than a few years treated them so poorly. They've been doing this since 2008-on (from the people I spoke to). The owner, especially in Missoula and surrounding areas, is not a good person. Coffee also isn't the best that you can get around here. It's just convenient. I would advise going elsewhere and giving other businesses that strive to create an amazing environment, coffee and experience. Just because you've been around so long and have the money, doesn't make you the better option. Reputation should mean something, but sadly it doesn't around here. read more

We waited in line for 25 minutes just to pull up to the window and be told that she was closing early. I feel like she could have told us before we waited all that time. WORST COFFEE EVER me and my mom couldn't even stomach our coffee and ended up throwing them in the garbage. I can always tell by the color of my coffee if it's going to be good or not and I couldn't of been more right. My mom asked for cream and she didn't put any in, just changed the lid! My shots were burnt and it didn't even slightly taste like a caramel latte, we ended up going to Starbucks to redeem ourselves since it was my birthday, the girl there seemed incompetent too and had us repeat the drinks back twice, and still messed them up! Much needed coffee break on our drive to Yellowstone. Great coffee stand right off I90! Easy to get to, we didn't follow google maps around. We instead turned into the Providence Hospital parking lot and took a side passage over. Super friendly barista who gave our pups treats. Double windows so you can order from both sides. Got an oatmilk ice latte and a vanilla latte. Would recommend for anyone looking for a convenient coffee stand. read more

This is some of the best coffee I've ever had! I've traveled all over the world and the states. Everything here seems great from the sampling I've had. While staying in an Airbnb, I've driven thru one of these locations once or twice a day. I especially love the Heaven Latte with oat milk. Ask for it to be less sweet. I used to love this place, it was my go to. I'm not sure if it's just been the crazy amount of turnover or what... But lately my drink has been different (I always get the same thing) and no one can agree how much it should be. I've been charged anywhere from 2.50-3.50 for a white chocolate amaricano. I also keep a punch card on the wall for ease of use, now they are going to an electronic punch system..fine. I gave the girl yesterday all the random card floating in my car to combine to my one on the wall (3 cards 4 punches) to add to my half full card and the freebie I'd been saving. I don't know what happened to my card, this AM my car magically only had 3 punches on it and my free one was gone. The girl in there told me tough luck, I would just have to come back some other time when that girl was there. Basically the customer service has taken a major nose dive. Guess they over expanded... For a very saturated market treating longtime loyal customers like crap isn't going to do your business any favors. read more

Blue and Pink Lotus drinks were horrible!!! I am a fan of Lotus energy and while driving through Missoula on our way back home we were surprised to find a stand actually selling Lotus!! Immediately disappointed!!! Quite literally the worst beverage tasted. No flavor at all and that is saying a lot since Lotus comes flavored. Well Florence Coffee... you impressed me there. Never have I had a flavorless Lotus before. Purely tasting of seltzer water. For $9.50 I could've gone to the gas station across the street and bought 4 Red Bulls. The reason I am writing this review is mainly due to pricing. I feel like the prices are outrageous. Customer service is decent. But the quality is no better than the other coffee shops in town, so I am not sure why a large cold brew is almost $7 without tip or why a large chai is close to the same. this weekend was the last time I will visit. my husband got a coffee and all I wanted was an Iced water. They charged us $1.50 for an iced water! that is ridiculous and not a way to keep a customer coming back. Second to last day in Missoula and we haven't had a huckleberry smoothie yet. Well . . . We stopped in at the Lolo Florence Coffee to remedy this immediately. Delish! Hubby said he wasn't sure he'd ever tasted huckleberry before, so it was new to him. Not that I have a huge amount of huckleberry experience, either, unless you count Huckleberry Hound and "I'm your huckleberry" said by Doc Holliday in Tombstone. I am very disappointed with this company. Specifically the location in stevinsville. I asked for a drink and told them no milk to use water because my son is deathly allergic to milk. I got about a block down the road and my sons throat closed up. I had to use a eppi pen and rush him to the emergency room where it took them the rest of the day to rectify the situation. Decent coffee, I'll acknowledge that I'm very picky, but the 2 stars is mostly related to the poor customer service at my last visit. I came close to close, which I understand is frustrating, but I could tell the barista was 100% more focused on closing and getting out of there than providing a good experience. She wasn't friendly, and I asked and paid for soy milk which she must have forgotten since I was given regular milk. Kind of frustrating because it gives me a bad stomach ache. Ever since I've started drinking coffee, I've always wondered why pumpkin spice lattes dont taste like pumpkin. Apparently, the reason why they dont is because they're not supposed to; they're flavored with spices that usually are used in pumpkin pie. Personally, I feel like that's pretty stupid. Why have something that has pumpkin in the name if it's not gonna taste like pumpkin? Well thankfully for me, FloCo seems to agree with that sentiment. If you can get to one of their locations during the fall, I implore you to try one of their pumpkin spice lattes with real pumpkin in them. They're to die for, and restored my faith in PSLs as a whole. Or if it's not fall yet, try the white hot chocolate with peppermint or a white mocha, which are both equally delicious. Putting my personal favorites aside, FloCo is just a great place to get some damn good coffee. They're also the only place in town I know that offers a 32 ounce, 5 shot version of any espresso drink of your choice, which on one hand terrifies me and on the other hand reminds me of how free this country is that the option even exists (God bless America). read more

I LOVE coffee!! When we relocated here I tried several local coffee shops. FLORENCE COFFEE SHOP IS THE WORST!!!!!! I bought a prepaid card for 12 drinks, same drink every time (4 shots of espresso & 1 shot of vanilla flavor). They made the drink wrong 6 out of 12 times. They would add the wrong flavoring & some times the cup would be full & some times the cup would be less than 1/2 way full. Obviously they were not giving me 4 shots every time. There is only 1 out of 3 employees (at the location on orange street) that is good at her job, the other 2 are awful!!!! I believe they are making the wrong drinks intentionally to save the company money (or to spite customers the baristas don't like). They have no problem swindling there customers, I would think twice about being there customer. Especially when The Loose caboose, Einstein brothers, and Nitro are less expensive & offers better incentives (buy 8 get 1 free) for the same quality coffee. I like City Coffee also because they have excellent customer service & send me great coupons via email but they are a bit more expensive. read more

The weekday barista at the SW Higgins location is awesome! She's fast, friendly, and officiant. However the weekend gets bogged down and my coffee isn't stirred all the way so I end up inhaling big chunks of flavor and sugar. I love the coffee here! Sam in the Lolo shop and Elizabeth on S. Reserve are truly the best baristas around! They are quick, friendly and have always made me the best drinks! I also love the variety of offerings here. EDIT: I have stopped going to FloCo in the mornings in Lolo as it's no longer on my way to work. I have gone there on Saturday mornings though and have had THE WORST TIME. First of all, There are usually 2-3 cars ahead of me and I have waited approximately 12-18 minutes. That is ridiculous! One time I actually had to wait 22 minutes until I got to the window and I was only the 3rd car in line! I would have backed out and left to go to McDonalds next door if I wasn't trapped in by a car behind me. You know the wait is long when you have to shut down your engine. I mean, really? I would say in the past 6 months I've gone there at least 5 times and with each time there is a HUGE wait. AND when I do finally get to place my order I'm greeted by the most apathetic baristas. Obviously they don't enjoy their job. They aren't friendly, they don't greet us, it's quite bizarre. AND 3 out of those 5 times my coffee has been bitter and burnt and one of the times the completely wrong order which means I had to wait one other 8 minutes for it to be remade. Maybe properly train your staff, hire cheerful staff and try having 2 or more baristas working on a saturday to fulfill the needs. Look into Loose Caboose's way of working. One person takes orders and cashiers and another makes the drinks. I've never had to wait more than 10 minutes and that was with 5-6 cars ahead of me. And, I've never had a bad coffee there. read more

That's all I really ask for. This is for the drive-through coffee stand on SW Higgins ave. It tasted like the barista filled our cups with luke-warm water, and then added some coffee. Extremely rude barista when we went back to ask about exchanging my mocha that so sweet beyond drinkable. She unhappily replaced it but when I drove away and took a drink it was clearly just drip coffee with little to no flavoring...not even a latte which I paid $4 for. Extremely immature and unprofessional service. We then went to Catalyst downtown to try and redeem ourselves with a decent coffee and service.
