I contacted the company that same night. I finally got a response 13 days later on 9/22/26--by that time I had fixed the leak myself. The damage was to the weather sealant between the siding and the brick wall right where the windows were installed. During installation, they understandably had to hamnmer around that whole area to adjust and fit the new windows which in turn loosened the weather sealant. Before their install service I had never had water leaks. I was not pleased with their lack of response to the issue.

Lucky Campos (son) came to my home (they actually kept this appointment) and gave me an estimate and signed a contract which will turn one year old next month. Periodic rain showers eventually made its way to El Paso and also into my residence after roof work had been completed by Campos & Son. I sustained minor water damage in several locations in my home on my ceilings and called the company back to take a look and fix the issue. When the roofing employees showed up, they spotted some deficiencies and attempted to correct the problem areas. It took two visits before I was able to finally get the work done correctly. A short time after the second visit for repairs, I sustained more water damage inside my home around other areas. I contacted Campos &Son Roofing & Construction and spoke to a gentleman named William who took my information and scheduled an appointment. I took off work one day and no one showed up and no one called. I called again and received an apology and attempted to reschedule as William said he would call me back when he got back to the office. No phone call was received. The company was referred to me by family members who also stated Campos & Son will not return calls but I'll defer to them for reviews and ratings. When receiving a quote, the company will tell you that they are licensed and bonded however will not take out permits for work to be completed which will leave you out on a limb (I know this now after contacting the City of El Paso). After spending $2000 dollars, I've now been left with interior ceiling damage that should have not occurred in such a short amount of time after having my roof done. I urge you to use due diligence in hiring a company that is competent and will live up to what they claim is complete and professional service. Alfredo Armendariz went above and beyond what we expected a contractor to do. We had hail damage from a storm last October. Even though several houses on our block also had damage and were getting new roofs, our insurance adjuster denied our damage claim. We asked for a second inspection. During that inspection, Alfredo walked with the inspector, and talked on the phone with our adjuster, pointing out all the damage. His keen eyes and knowledge made a huge difference in the second adjuster's decision to cover our claim. Alfredo was extremely easy to work with. We moved to El Paso about a year ago and were ready to buy a house and make El Paso our home. We…read moreheard a lot of good stuff about Deal2Deal and decided to bite the bullet and buy one of their expensive $715K home in Cimarron Canyon. The house was a spec home and meant to be a model home but they decided to sell it. When we walked through the house, it was about 90% done. We liked the location and the space. Delton assured the appraisal should come at the listed price if not higher. Contract and deposit of $35K was all done by 8/21/23. As they started to wrap up the finishing work, we noticed few patchy dry walls, big gap around the wooden post by the entry way, crooked cabinet by the refrigerator etc. We pointed them out and Delton was willing to fix it. When we went back to check the fix, they had covered up all the imperfection and gaps with trim and caulk. It didn't look right. The mirror and lights did not look like they belonged to $715K home. When we pointed it out, Lucinda was offended. And lastly the appraisal came $29K lower. Lucinda was appalled and contested it which she has every right to do so but the adjusted appraisal still came $15K lower. At this point because of failure to perform the last 10% as promised and a bitter realization that the house is overpriced we wanted to terminate the contract. Now they are refusing to refund our deposit stating the contract states that it is nonrefundable for any reason. They are claiming that we costed them potential buyer because they removed the listing after we signed the contract. (The listing is still online as pending) We have been trying to terminate the contract since 9/7/23. We are getting railroaded to buy a house that we initially fell in love and wanted it to be our dream home but quickly turned into a living nightmare. There is no reasonable explanation for them to keep our deposit of $35k. We didn't cost them any money. They completed the whole house per their plan. The past few days has been extremely stressful for us. We are still asking them to return our deposit that we gave them in good faith. !!PLEASE BE CAREFUL WITH DEAL2DEAL!!
