We're very pleased with our experience with Brad and Florida Blinds. I reached out to several companies for quotes. One never called me back despite me leaving them another voicemail, one said they'd get back to me about scheduling and never did, but Brad was very responsive and even scheduled a very early morning appointment on a weekend to accommodate our busy schedule post move in. We had an idea of what we wanted and Brad helped us to quickly narrow down our options and make decisions. He suggested solar shades for our French doors and the windows in that room that would allow us to see out but provide privacy. In our other rooms we selected white faux wood blinds. He did all the measurements on the spot and was able to provide us a quote on the spot which we thought was well priced. It took a week longer than he estimated for the product to be made but he was in touch letting us know what was happening. As soon as the product arrived to him he was reaching out to schedule and once again accommodated our busy schedule by coming early on a weekend. The installation went quick and Brad made sure we were happy with everything before he left our home. He also wore a mask and booties in our home. Thank you Brad for your responsiveness and stellar . I researched different companies for blinds and this one had good reviews, as did others, but I decided to go w Florida Blinds and called Brad immediately. He said he was going to be in my area in Celebeation that afternoon, so we made an appt. Later he called and asked if he could come earlier bc he had available time. He did and measured for a very small window and a very tall glass door. He gave me a verbal quote on the spot, to which I agreed to. I said "great!" and nodded my head in agreement and a smile. I asked how long it would take to get them, and he said 2-3 weeks. I said great! As he was leaving, I said please send me an email w the details, which nodded in agreement, but never did, but I was 100% I had agreed to ordered them. He left and fast forward a month later. I had not received a call saying they were ready to install them. I called Brad and first he couldn't find me or my address. Questioned wether I was sure I had used him and not another company. I was sure I had used him because it was the only quote I had received. He said that I never told him to order them, and that I had not put down the downpayment. I said that he didn't tell me anything about a down payment, or I would have been glad to pay it. He said "no down payment, no order". Again, he had not told me, or I would have been glad to paid it in the spot or later or whenever. He said "I'm not a pushy salesman, I just measure, but if u don't tell me to order and put the down payment, I don't order. Needless to say that I'm very disappointment w my first experience w a blind company :( . I have no idea what else I could have done or say to make it clear to him to order the blinds besides what I did, with the information he gave me. I had waited years since we purchased our home to take care of this and I was so excited to take the old 2002 blinds down and get the new ones up. I kept missing the owner when he called, so I eventually gave up phone tag and texted him to see if we could just schedule a consultation.
