Mom called me to look it up because it was incorrect in her new phone book, and she recently got a new phone and lost her contacts. Mom does not use the internet or even have a smart phone. Did I mention she is 82?? Well, APPARENTLY, it was the wrong number. Mom called me back so upset because the lady who answered the phone was beyond rude and completely disrespectful, when she quickly learned that Mom was attempting to reach Dr.Tracey Fansler, the OBGYN, not in this practice. She practically yelled at my mother that "THIS IS NOT Dr. Tracey Fansler's office" and then instructed her to "find the right phone number on Google!" just before hanging up on her. First of all.....THAT IS THE NUMBER ON GOOGLE for Dr. Tracey Fansler. That might not be your fault, but it sure as heck is NOT ours! Second of all, anyone as miserable and unhelpful as the lady who answered my mother's call at 1:50PM today has zero business working in any healthcare field. I spent decades as a CMA, working in multiple medical offices and multi-specialty clinics, and I wouldn't dream of speaking to ANY person like that, in person or over the phone. And, if one of my employees did, they would be fired so fast their head would spin. If you cannot be bothered to offer assistance to ANYONE who needs it, please do the world a favor and remove yourself from an environment whose very foundation is built upon caring for, nurturing and helping others.

After making the appointment, when I arrived and then to check in, I was told that my co-pay would be $75 when my card is clearing marked with a $45 co-pay. When I questioned it, at first I was told that it was wrong, and then after asking her to check, she came back and said OK they would take my Co-Pay as per my Card. I meet with the Dr. Richard Fanlser; he preformed a brief exam, and said that he would need to have an ultra sound done. He said I could have it done that coming Friday in his office, and that the front desk would schedule it. And proceeded to walk me to the front. I was then told that I could get this done on Friday as the Dr had said and they could do it at 11:00am. I said I would prefer a later appointment as that way I would not need to get off work, and said I would even take a different day. She then explained to me that they ONLY do ultra sounds on Fridays, and they will only schedule the next time available, as they did not want the woman that does the Ultra sounds to set around waiting for people. So basically it was a take it or leave it. So I took it. The Dr had told me that he would review the results and would get back to me the Following Monday / Tuesday. So I waited, and waited and waited, so on the following Thursday I called the office to see if the results were available, I was told they were and that the DR would have to call me back. So finally I got a call back the following Monday. And after being told that there was nothing to do and no issues, I asked why it took a week plus to get this information, he had been busy. When you walk into the office, you are bombarded with Surgical Cosmetic and Beauty enhancements. Not the kind of DR or office I would go back to for REAL Medical help.

Treating him like a pill popper out to find a new fix. When he saw Dr. Fansler at his post op appointment, his concerns were left unaddressed and he was dismissed as quickly as possible. My husband is still experiencing some pain and feels that Dr. Fansler does not actually care about his well being now that the $12k surgery bill has been paid in full. Do yourself a favor and find a physician who isn't too busy to care for you.
