First, I want to recognize Matt, the technician who came to my home. He was very knowledgeable, professional, and courteous throughout the visit. He took the time to answer my questions and shared valuable information about water treatment systems and installation considerations. He also mentioned that when these units are shipped and transported on their sides, it can sometimes create issues depending on the equipment and how long it remained in that position. I appreciated his expertise and his willingness to educate me on the project. My concern is not with Matt, but with the company's communication regarding fees. During my Yelp communications, I was advised that this would be a free estimate. Based on that representation, I scheduled the appointment. Matt reviewed the project and provided a quote of approximately $2,700. After obtaining several other quotes in the $400 to $550 range, I decided to move forward with another installer. Only after I informed Matt that I would not be proceeding with David Gray was I advised of a $49 service charge. At no point during the Yelp conversation, scheduling process, or prior to the appointment was I informed that there would be a charge associated with the estimate. Had I known about this fee in advance, I would not have scheduled the appointment. What made the situation more frustrating was that after declining the work, I received an invoice via email for the $49 charge, despite my understanding, based on the Yelp messages, that the estimate was free. This came as a complete surprise, as no fee had been disclosed or discussed beforehand. I believe companies should be transparent about any service-call, trip, diagnostic, or estimate fees before scheduling appointments so customers can make informed decisions. Again, Matt was excellent and represented the company professionally. My review reflects concerns with the company's communication and billing practices, not the quality of service provided by the technician. I would encourage future customers to confirm in writing whether any charges apply to estimates or site visits before scheduling an appointment.

Thompson Electric & Air - Owner Fred says you need to be an electrical engineer to understand this is good work...rain and exposed wire.

There are few polite words one can find to describe Thompson Electric, their shoddy work,…read moredestruction to personal property with impunity, inability to show up, repeated lies and screaming from the owner. We will be formally reporting this deeply unsafe and fraudulent work to the Department of Business and Professional Regulation and State Attorney General's Office. Thompson was hired to run one wire from breakers already installed for the purpose (Marked "Gate" as shown to the humans who arrived claiming to be electricians) to a gate. After weeks of tearing up our yard with an unguided ditch witch from a separate side of the house, thousands of dollars in irrigation damage, not showing for random weeks at a time or leaving equipment in our driveway without any communication, and tying into breakers already being used for a different purpose - this crew cobbled together a bunch of wire using wire ties that aren't even to code indoors let alone safe in a water. So...when the jumped wire got some water, you don't need to be an electrical engineer (tho I have been trained) to know it ain't gonna work. (P.S. Pictures to prove it). In fact, when Fred (thats the owner who calls and screams at you even when you're pleading for him to calm down) was made aware of this and the non-functioning electric we overpaid for, he said that we were "Monday morning quarterbacking" and when told their work wouldn't pass code (because he needed to be educated that water and electric don't work well together) he said that it *would* if they went out to our property and fixed that. Ummm...yes...maybe? Still, Fred says it's oir fault because...they didn't bid the project right? Bid seems sufficient, workmanship and general decency, not so much. And if their guys did what we paid them to do, perhaps we would have electric that works rather than a completely torn up yard, ongoing irrigation repairs, and out thousands of dollars without functioning electric lile we paid for. My husband hired these guys so when Fred or whoever comes on here to claim this isn't a real review 1. It's under Brian and 2. We have pictures. Lots of pictures, security footage, and documentation to present to the Department. Also, just look at how they harass any criticis. What a shameful way to run a business. To think that these guys are running electric in our schools (According to their website)?! I now know this "business" is on several major companies' no hire list in town for a reason, FYI. I'll update as Fred or one of his minions tries to discredit my GENEROUS review. STAY AWAY!!! P.S. Fred, got a quote for boring under a driveway - $15 per foot, not $15,000 as you screamed on the phone because your guys instead tried a hose on 20 years worth of tree roots for days.

The changeovers and new policies were handles seamlessly, and done with ease by East Coast. All questions we had were answered promptly and well, and in an easily understood manner. Of particular note, Patricia Parra at East Coast's Palm Coast location was exceptional in obtaining new insurance policies for us at reasonable prices and providing valued information. Also, when we suffered a cracked windshield several months ago East Coast immediately and properly directed us regarding the procedures to be followed to obtain a replacement. It was a highly efficient process. We'd recommend East coast to others without reservation.
