Everyone was very nice and Doctor was caring I never got the chip I came for they did ultrasound to see if she was pregnant so that added $159. to the $68. Office call I had to prepay to make appt.!! Now ill have to pay another $68. to go back for the chip!! Incompetent staff. After a month of treatment my dog is still sick, they just gave me antibiotics because it could've been a bacterial infection. I provided samples so they can run test on the samples, but they only tested for parasites! Charged me $500 just to say "since it's not a parasitic infection it could be a bacterial infection here's some antibiotics" like did you at least run test on the samples I provided... no they didn't. Horrible experience. The relief that was a joke. The office staff could not get a simple invoice right. I had to ask them three times to redo it to reflect the correct procedures that were done and the correct amounts. On the third try they still got it wrong. I would not recommend this place at all. I'm sure they're going to come up with a rebuttal to this but please read the reviews before you go. Incompetent. ***your invoices were incorrect...all three of them. I recall the final one you sent said "Certificate of Vaccination", even though he didn't get vaccinated. Your first two had inaccurate information such as "to do"=wellness exam, even though he just got one. Figures wrong. Your front desk staff was rude and the relief vet was terrible. Holding my timid, geriatric dogs muzzle shut during exam and telling me to take him off a highly addictive narcotic cold turkey. She quickly changed that to taper him off only after I protested. Not to mention waiting in exam room for an hour after exam. I could go on and on. And to assume I was happy until today is yet another ignorant and unprofessional assumption. I had no intention of taking other pets there after what I went through. Only my elderly dog because its so hard to take him anywhere due to his arthritis and need his meds refilled. Now Im out. Now I have to take this poor guy somewhere else and put him through that again. Your snarky comebacks are just showing all who read this how incredibly unprofessional you are. You have no idea why I changed vets in the past and to make assumptions is just plain ignorant. We can keep going with this. I will have a rebuttal for your all your responses. I am so disgusted with your actions. I went to the vet Nov 19, 2020 with all four of my cats. At that time, each cat was examined and found to have ear mites. I was given a treatment plan and a bill for $517.66 for services rendered. I followed the treatment plan, but noticed about 25 days later one cat, Baby, still looked like the ear mites were still there. I made another appointment on December 15, 2020. At this time I was told, there was not ear mites and all was progressing as it should be. Note, I brought this one cat because he seemed to have residue of ear mites the worst of the 4 total cats. The December 15 visit was $135.00 charge. It is January 16, 2021 and I seem to be back where I started. I am hesitant to make another appointment. I do not have the money. I lost my job due to Covid. Also the previous two attempts with this vet seem to be in vain. I believe the treatment plan and communication is not correct. When you go to this vet, you get about 1 minute to explain the issue and 1 minute to receive the plan. Asking for clarity isn't an option when you feel "bum rushed". I would love to rectify this situation, but I am not sure how to do this - - at this point. read more

Took my 2 dogs for their shots as I am moving out of state and this vet was close. One staff member was great but the other should not work with pets or children. Prices were outrageous. Plus I explained I was moving out of state next week, yet they charged me $80 for lifetime FL dog license. I would give zero stars if I could. Took my dog here to get all his shots, vet said all his shots were up to date. Took him to a groomer and needed his shot records, couldn't find his file as if he wasn't even there then said he still needed shots when I was told he was all good. If you're having an emergency with you're pet and you're not a patient of theirs, don't waste your time and your pets life by taking them there. We were visiting from out of town and had been at the beach. My bulldog was having a heat issue so we took her there trying to get her immediate help. They refused as we were not a current patient. They sent us to some place else. We found a closer one but taking 25 minutes to get to the other vet, she passed away. St. Petersburg Animal Hospital and Urgent Care was wonderful in dealing with Noelle when we arrived there. If i ever find out my vet refused to treat anyones fur member , they will be fired. Noelle wasn't just some dog, she was my fur daughter. I don't wish that helpless feeling on anyone when a vet refuses to care for your love one in an emergency. read more

The words that come to my mind when thinking about my interactions with the entire staff are AWESOME and AMAZING!!!! While I was vacationing in Florida, I was in need of a Vet service and they came highly recommend. I checked them out and I was super impressed with the staff and Dr. Anthony. I received outstanding customer service and I would also highly recommend them. I called to have a script refilled and the receptionist was friendly, helpful and expressed concern for my pet. Brought my puppy here and was very happy with my last few experiences. The doctor was so caring and helpful and definitely didn't seem money hungry like some clinics can be. The nurses are so sweet and will call the next morning to check on your pet. I have a Pomeranian so she's tiny and fragile and they are always so gentle with her. They even clipped her nails and trimmed her up a little for free (she's too young to go to a groomer just yet). Very happy with this office! read more

WORST. I would never reccommend this vet to anyone, they should be shut down for dealing dishonestly when pets HEALTH not their commission should be a priority. Took my dog in when he was first adopted (4months old) bc he had tapeworms and had an exam by Dr.Anthony, he treated the tapeworms with Droncit, and told me that Trifexus (they make commission from selling this specific brand) would take care of it. Long story short - this is the 3rd time in 3 months my dog has had tapeworms after giving him Trifexus. I researched online that Sentinel spectrum combined with an adult flea med is actually whats best. I have already signed up for a new vet (Northeast) and since we have given our dog his 3rd treatment he reacted with vomitting and diarhhea which I fault Dr.Anthony with. If there was malpractice for animals, this office deserves to be closed down. read more

My daughter & her boyfriend have been taking their pups to this clinic since they were 8 weeks old, they are now 8 months & after today will never return again! The pups are anxious & barkers which the vet & staff are well aware of. However, today the vet acted brand new to how the pups act. What do you expect when the vet & 2 techs enter the room with 2 anxious, scared 8 month old pups?!? What wasn't expected was the vet to be down right disrespectful & ignorant to not only my daughter & her boyfriend but to one of the pups!! When you feel the need to pull back & clench your fist as if you're going to hit one of the pups because they are too much for you too handle then maybe you should rethink your career choice!!! All I can say is thank God he wasn't stupid enough to put his hands on the pup because things would have went to a whole other level! And for one of the office staff to have the audacity to tell my daughter's boyfriend "f**k you"!!! The lack of professionalism that was displayed today is down right disgusting!!! read more

I am so happy to find a caring veterinary clinic for my sweet little kitties. Dr. Anthony and Pete were wonderful with my cat Bailey. The whole staff was very nice. I was put at ease as soon as I got there. Sometimes vets nickle and dime a person to death but Dr. Anthony pretty much knew Bailey just had a "fatty" tumor. He even printed out information to educate me about it plus he gave him a thorough exam. The cost was very reasonable. I will be back soon to get a check up on his brother Charley. My friend referred me to Florida Veterinary Clinic when I first rescued my dog and brought him down to school in St.Pete. She ended up coming here when her dog was attacked and another vet turned her away because they were on their lunch hour. The people at Florida Veterinary Clinic immediately rushed her inside to treat her dog when they noticed her walking in with her dog in her arms, bleeding. When I brought my dog in almost a year later, they were so caring, friendly, thorough and efficient. When they asked how I found out about them and I told them my friend, they knew my friend and her dog's names and remembered exactly what happened to her dog when she had brought her in, asking me how she was doing since they had not seen her in a while. A few days later, my friend and I both received a hand written thank you note in the mail. These people truly care about your pets, they are reasonably priced and will not push unnecessary, expensive medications or procedures on you, and they are overall lovely people. Now that I have moved back to DC, I realize even more how fantastic they are and only wish I could find a vet as good as this up here. read more
