We got here at 7pm on Friday which was a mistake :(, we ended up waiting two hours for our food. The line was brutally long and they ran out of a lot of the pizzas by the time we got to order. The line was about an hour and waiting for the pizza to be ready was another hour. The pizza itself was delicious. Highly recommend the cacio e pepe one, was definitely the favorite. I like that you can get a sampler pizza and try all their flavors. Would come again just not on a friday.

I enjoyed trying out this cute wine bar in Tarrytown. My group tried several different glasses of wine and pieces of pizza. We arrived in the late afternoon and were easily able to snag a table on the patio, but noticed that starting around 5:30 p.m. it can be a little difficult. The wine is definitely on the pricier side at around $16-17 a glass with tax, with bottles being correspondingly pricy. The pizza by the slice prices also seem high, although the slices are huge. I didn't see any happy hour listed. From Allday, we tried the stracciatella and pep & pepp pizza flavors. We also ordered the green salad and cold brew affogato. Their pizza is New York style and was very good, with the homemade stracciatella being the star of the show. The salad was also great, with a fresh herby vinaigrette and savory green olives. The affogato was a delightful sweet treat, and is a large very shareable portion. We liked almost all of the wines we tried, and thought the fare from Allday Pizza is really good. My favorite glass was the crisp Seehof Mornstein Kabinett Riesling. One negative is you can find yourself waiting in a lengthy line for wine, and then another line for pizza. I wish there was just one line for everything. Parking can be difficult, with only a few 15 minute to go spots. We were able to find nearby street parking, but I can see it being pretty difficult on weekends. Flo's is a nice spot for dinner and a glass of wine, and I will be back.

Good wine and incredible pizza...what more can you ask for? We started by getting in line for the pizza first, but we did see some people grab a glass of wine and then get in line for pizza, so you could go either way. Once we made our pizza order, we snagged a table and went to the bar to order our wine. The food came out quickly and it was delicious. The employees also let us sample wines before deciding. The space is fairly small for how busy it is, but there is an indoor and outdoor seating area.

I've been to Flo's 3x now and it's always a good time! A casual, cute spot with a nice patio, bar, and made-to-order pizza (plus the yummy soft serve!), you have everything you could want all in one place. Even if it's hot out, they have shade and large fans to help. Park along Pecos St. and walk in for a fun evening! Service is very quick and casual. You order wine/drinks inside at the bar, water is available outside but also brought to your table, and you order pizza and food goodies at the window. You can order as many times as you need! QUICK FACTS: - Parking? Yes, plenty of FREE street parking along Pecos St. - Reservations? You can request for larger parties, but they're not needed. However, they do get busy in the evenings and weekends (and when the weather is nice!). - Dog-friendly? Yes! Most of the seating is outdoors (there is some indoor availability and bar seating as well). FOOD RATING: All Day Pizza and soft serve is so good! You can buy by the slice ($4-$6) or by the whole pie. Slices are huge (I usually enjoy 2 and a soft serve). Pizzas are made to order so they may take some time during peak hours, but it's worth it. Lots of toppings and add ons like ranch, hot honey chili oil, etc. My favorite is their straciatella pizza, but you can't go wrong with any of them! The sweet cream soft serve is also yummy! You can choose up to 3 toppings. Overall, this spot is such a favorite. It's cute, has great vibes, and pizza, wine, and soft serve. They also recently opened a coffee truck onsite so you can spend all day there if you wanted!

Came for a work event and was not disappointed! Love the variety of bottles and the fact that an All Day Pizza is right there for snackables and food. I would say it's pricey for even the cheapest glass on the menu, and wish they had a Happy Hour! The vibes are so nice (perfect wine bar vibes) and they even have a little patio which is really nice. It can get really packed on weekends and evenings, so much so that you may not be able find parking or may have to wait in a long line, so just be prepared for that.

LOVE FLOS WINE BAR! The pizza slices are order-at-window style and were excellent! Such a cute casual atmosphere. The patio has large fans as well which makes it doable during a hot summer afternoon. My new favorite spot to bring people while visiting from out of town! Staff is great and always so nice / helpful. The interior is super cute as well.

Finally made it here yesterday and basically had the place to ourselves which was great! Such a cute spot and they had happy hour from 12-5 so we ordered Spritz's which were perfect for a summer day. Food is pizza from AllDay which I was also trying for the first time. We decided to get half stracciatella half sweet sausage and Caesar salad. All of it was super yummy! Massive slices. Very tasty!

I had so much fun with my friends at Flo's! The wine shop is so adorable, and I love that you can sit outside or inside. It was a really nice evening, and my friends and I brought a card game to play while enjoying some nice wine and food. The staff is really helpful and knowledgeable, and they gave us some great recommendations for rose. I really liked that we were able to try some of the bottles before committing to buying an entire bottle. I also bought a slice of pizza and some gelato, and it was delicious. The pizza was NY-style, and it was so good that I bought another slice. The pepperoni cups remind me of those from Prince Street Pizza.

Wow wow wow. The pizza was delicious, definitely eat it when its hot. It is made with such high quality cheese and meat. The caesar salad was to die for. The greens were so so fresh and it was piled on with parmesan cheese. The dressing and fried onion made the salad so so unique. I'm not a big wine person but the waiter was so patient with me and explain everything and let me try the different wines. I really enjoyed my night here. Definitely a good date night spot. The inside can get crowded and loud but we were able to find a table!

Parking was a little hard to come by in the neighborhood, but not impossible. I ended up waiting a little over 1.5 hrs after checking in with the hostess and we were able to snag the very last plate of paella! I've had my fair share of paella and I'm in no way a paella snob, but this one missed the mark for me. 1) the portion did not reflect the $34 price tag. 2) portions of the rice were undercooked and very hard. 3) it was way too salty. It did come with a mix of mussels, clams, shrimp, and sausage, with a side of toast, but I can't justify this part of the experience. We also ordered calamari and croquetas. The croqueta was delicious and flavorful, but the calamari didn't stand out. It tastes like any other calamari. The ambiance itself is cute and the service was great, but the food was lacking.

THE BLACK AND WHITE: I came here to catch up with a buddy that enjoys wine as much as I do. Starting off, we got a glass of Aubry brut 1er cru glass. Nice, acidic, and bubbly. What I expect out of champagne. We got a philippe jouan (aka pinot noir) bottle which was so delicious. For food, we got the baguette and a egg confit dish that was divine. Then wrapping up, we got a single glass of produttori del barbaresco and capellano barolo. These were super old wines from the 80s and boy were they screaming tertiary notes. Awesome experience. THE FINAL BAMBOO: Overall, we spent around $270 for a bottle of pinot noir, two glasses of really old wine and a sneak peek bite of their tasting menu. Will be back to try more wines and food.

The Scarlett crab was soo good and added the perfect amount of saltiness and sweetness to the comforting soup! For our mains, we got the duck which had a delicious hoisin sauce. While I enjoyed the bok choy I felt it could have a better accompaniment. We also got the salmon which had a smaller portion, but was unique in its taste and execution. I felt the vibe instantly, like as soon as I put one foot in the door. Magical, sophisticated, worldly, wonderful and more were the feelings that spontaneously hit me. The dark and elegant decor, lighting, design, & layout made me feel as though I were in a high-end Tokyo cocktail lounge. The front room as I mentioned is an intimate bar and lounge area with artwork adorning the walls. It's a modern, minimalist, and sleek space. The artwork is ever-changing (every couple of months or so) and the cocktail menu changes right long with it. Note: artwork is available for purchase. What an absolutely glorious way of combining different mediums (liquid art vs physical art). The craft cocktails & mocktails are the epitome of works of art. I've had great cocktails and mocktails elsewhere but honestly I'd be hard pressed to find anything on this level. You're taken into an entirely different realm just watching the genius of mixologists. It's mesmerizing watching them hone their craft. In the back of the lounge is an enclave of eclectic art and other pieces that then leads you to Konbini, the sushi bar. It's an industrial, warehouse vibe with a long counter that screams hip, Tokyo inspired, late-night eatery. Service is impeccable and welcoming at this cosmopolitan venue. I was pretty bothered by my experience here. Even aside from their mid drinks, it felt like we were constantly chasing down servers and they were only attentive when they needed something from us. We went to the photobooth to take pictures before we sat down, but the machine ate my money and broke down. I let a server know, and he came back and said he would comp $20 off of our meal, which I was happy about. I honestly only wanted them to refund me my $10 for the photobooth strip. However, they came back a few minutes later and gave us a photo card and told us to use it to pay for the photobooth and it could be used an unlimited amount of times. I was also happy with this solution, but what happened afterwards left a bad taste in my friends' and my mouth. We hadn't gotten menus or been asked what we wanted to order yet. We were just waiting around for drink menus and food menus, so we didn't want to get up and go take photos when they might come back to take our orders. The manager (?) came back to me a few minutes later and asked if we had taken photos yet, and I let him know that we were waiting to be given menus. He said someone else would give us menus, and another server gave us only a drink menu. A few minutes later, we are still waiting for food menus. The same manager came back and asked us to not lose the photo card. At this point, we were frustrated. Why come back constantly to ask for a photo card when we haven't even been given our food or our menus yet? When we finally got our food, a different server asked if we had given back the photo card yet. They were so pressed about getting this photo card back and not actually getting our orders, and we also thought it was a bit distasteful to offer a solution (the $20 off the meal) but then go back on it with the photo card. It was presented as "unlimited" swipes but we were rushed to give the card back, and realistically, we only had enough time to take one set of photos. The drinks themselves were truly just okay. I don't think any of us were particularly impressed with our drinks, but the interior of Papercut is really nice and intimate.

Rosé Gosé (note accents) is in an unassuming Airport Blvd location (right next to Jewboy Burgers, an Austin favorite). It is run by a couple from Belarus that came here right after Covid to open up a restaurant, with a sister in Minsk. Defying expectations, the menu is not Balkan at all. If anything, there is a strong Asian influence with poke bowls and a lot of seafood. But the menu also offers beef tartare on their raw bar menu, as well as a steak offering and grilled chicken. It's a diverse and adventurous menu, all the way from small plates to hefty mains and vegetable sides. For the dessert, try the pavlova, a meringue confection stuffed with coconut mousse and topped with lime sorbet and a grapefruit slice sidecar. Everything is superbly presented, and unquestionably fresh and healthy without veering into twigs and berries territory. The cocktail menu is also playful, with a lot of nontraditional glassware and slight spins on popular drinks; their version of a Paloma uses prosecco instead of a splash of soda. The servers are all dressed in rosé jumpsuits and very attentive. The space is amiable and elegant without being pretentious. The table spacing is a little close, so that conversations carry between guests. The table setting has some nice touches, like the little wooden bench that holds your fork and knife off the table. Rosé Gosé was a delightful Mother's Day lunch spot. It is a whole vibe, and it is uniquely French! When we walked in an artist was playing romantic music on his keyboard, which set the tone for the brunch. It is a small restaurant inside with a larger area of seating on the patio. Of course, our reservations were inside in the comforts of air conditioning. You immediately notice a wine wall hence the name Rosé Gosé. The restaurant has many windows which provide lots of natural light. The tables house miniature yellow roses and utensils sat in a small wooden block...very French. All the servers were dressed in mauve clothing that resemble scrubs from a hospital. If someone stepped out in a French beret, I would have fallen over. Our server, Sergey, immediately served us water and took our order. The restaurant was highlighted as a modern European bistro. The atmosphere was charming, elegant, and stylish making it ideal for a Mother's Day brunch. My hubby ordered a ribeye, eggs and French Fries. I ordered the avocado toast with salmon and egg whites. While I'm not a huge red meat eater, I tasted a piece of the hubs ribeye and it was nicely prepared. My avocado toast was yummy to the nth degree! Everything was perfect. The avocado was precisely cut and at the right level of softness. The salmon was chopped into tiny little squares and so enjoyable to eat. We could not be more pleased. With a name like Rosé Gosé you would expect their drinks to be superb. My hubby ordered a hibiscus tea, which was delightful. I ordered a mimosa that had high quality ingredients and was perfectly balanced...so smooth. We were also pleased with the drinks. This was the first time at Rosé Gosé, however, it definitely will not be the last.

There was a bike swap going on, which felt about right for ATX. We ordered a beer and a burger then settled in on the porch (the part I call the "inside/outside" because it has a roof). I'm not going to say the Crown has the best burgers in the world. I guess it depends on what you want in a burger. I will say that, for the price, the Crown has the best pub burger - a good basic burger. I got a jalapeno cheeseburger, but I can attest to the deliciousness of the veggie burger and the mushroom-swiss. Back in the early 90s we used to bring my daughter with us and she would play pinball with my friend, Dirk. The bartenders at the time included a couple of guys who used to work at Duddley's Draw in College Station, TX.
