Played classic mellow rock which really played into the whole chill vibe. We had the simple salad and sampler pizza. The simple salad was just that. This was a case that simple was good. Lettuce, pickled onions and green olives. It was pre-dressed. The dressing was spot on with enough sweet and acid with neither overpowering the other. The pizza was real good. The star of the show was the pizza crust. It was thin but stood up when you hold it. It had the perfect amount of cheese and toppings. I went after watching the sunset at Mount Bonnell, and there wasn't too long of a line to order around 6:30. However, when we left at 8:30, there was quite the line -- and I can't imagine how long the wait for food was. The pizza was thin and crisp - a simple pizza that was very well executed. The Stracciatella pizza had a mere 2 dollops of cheese, which was disappointing, but still quite good. I would get the pepperoni over and over. TLDR: GREAT pizza and dog-friendly outdoor seating, but horrible parking. A group of 6 of us met at Flo's this week for dinner. The pizza and wine is great. All Day pizza always hits the spot! We got a few slices of different pies and it was all delicious. We split 2 bottles of wine, which was great, too. Ordering was easy, the food was ready in a timely fashion, and employees were circling regularly to make sure everyone had what they needed. You did have to go up to a window to order, and you had to go back to the window to collect your pizza when it was ready. Also, they ended up messing up the order, which we were flexible with, and we did not get all of the slices we wanted. Now, despite the pizza being tasty, I am not sure if I will ever make it back to Flo's. I had never been before, and I ended up being over 15 minutes late because I was circling the neighborhood for 10 minutes trying to find parking. Flo's has 4 dedicated spots on-site. FOUR. One had traffic cones blocking it off, and another one was a handicap spot. I had read online that Pecos St has free parking, so I initially had high hopes. It's true that it has free parking, but you need to be very careful, because there are a lot of "off limits" areas with "NO PARKING" signs. Also, it seemed like every single resident of Austin was parking on Pecos St because I had to park .5 miles away from the restaurant in the only open spot available and hike to the restaurant in the dark (very few street lamps). It was a really frustrating experience, regardless of how good the pizza is. read more

I enjoyed trying out this cute wine bar in Tarrytown. My group tried several different glasses of wine and pieces of pizza. We arrived in the late afternoon and were easily able to snag a table on the patio, but noticed that starting around 5:30 p.m. it can be a little difficult. The wine is definitely on the pricier side at around $16-17 a glass with tax, with bottles being correspondingly pricy. The pizza by the slice prices also seem high, although the slices are huge. I didn't see any happy hour listed. From Allday, we tried the stracciatella and pep & pepp pizza flavors. We also ordered the green salad and cold brew affogato. Their pizza is New York style and was very good, with the homemade stracciatella being the star of the show. The salad was also great, with a fresh herby vinaigrette and savory green olives. The affogato was a delightful sweet treat, and is a large very shareable portion. We liked almost all of the wines we tried, and thought the fare from Allday Pizza is really good. My favorite glass was the crisp Seehof Mornstein Kabinett Riesling. One negative is you can find yourself waiting in a lengthy line for wine, and then another line for pizza. I wish there was just one line for everything. Parking can be difficult, with only a few 15 minute to go spots. We were able to find nearby street parking, but I can see it being pretty difficult on weekends. Flo's is a nice spot for dinner and a glass of wine, and I will be back. read more

If I could give this place 6 stars I would! I love their pizza! I have been back here probable 10 times since the first time I visited. Any friend comes to town and I'll bring them to this spot because of how great it is! I either get the margarita pizza or the pepperoni. The slices are a good size for how much you pay. It is SOOO THIN and CRISPY! if you like thin crust, definitely check it out. The sauce is also the perfect acidity and tangyness. The cheese tastes very fresh and they usually add a piece of basil on top. A few cons: parking is hard to find and usually you have to park on the street but it's soooo worth the parallel parking and walk. I also don't like the water they serve, it just tastes funky. Overall such a great Austin spot, it gets pretty busy but once you order the food comes out quickly! If I could only eat one pizza again for the rest of my life I would pick this pizza. The greens were so so fresh and it was piled on with parmesan cheese. The dressing and fried onion made the salad so so unique. I went here for a birthday party of a friend. She had reserved the indoor lounge space, which was absolutely required as this is a popular neighborhood (and more!) spot and was the only way that the party attendees could have been together and inside. It's right across the street from the entrance to Camp Mabry and has maybe 4 parking spots of its own (one is handicapped), so it clearly is something that wants to cater to those in the neighborhood I think. There is street parking around the area - just be sure to be mindful of the signs and be prepared for a lengthy walk (I think I walked about a half mile from my spot to Flo's). The staff were extremely friendly and clearly passionate about ensuring everyone had a good experience - from those who were popping in for to-go orders, those who were there for a quick drink date and those who were there for a party like us. The space is no frills and intimate. We had pizzas from the All Day pizza spot attached to Flo's, which accompanied the wines and general vibe quite well. Good experience on the whole! read more

Everyone seems knowledgeable about the wine they carry and helped us choose a really nice bottle of Pinot noir. Please note Flo's Wine Bar is a separate business from All Day, but they are just so perfectly partnered. A wide selection of wines to choose from in a nice cozy ambiance tucked away in a beautiful neighborhood. My husband and I often ride our bikes in the area. They even give 10% off bottles/glasses/beer if you stop in by bike (or ride share). 10% for military and first responders too! We went with a simple bottle of Red, from Barberra, that paired really well with the slices of pizza with red sauce. From New York and Connecticut, these slices of pizza were wonderful. Perhaps unpopular opinion, but better than Home Slice. Crust was perfect thickness, allow for an easy fold while reserving a light crunch. The crust to sauce ration was even and the creativity of the different flavors hit the palate so well. There's an everything but bagel seasoned pizza...like what?! And YES it is good. Next time? We'll be adding the soft serve ice cream, and then the next time trying the Olive Oil Cake! read more

You can park on the street and walk over - there is both indoor and outdoor seating. Outside there's a walk-up window to order pizza from all day pizza; all drinks are inside at Flo's, the wine bar. I went on probably the first nice night of "fall" so we had to stalk a vacating family to snag a seat. Slices are huge, NY style, and reasonably priced. I was with 3 others so we went for the "sampler", where you buy 5 slices and get the 6th for free. A nice option if you want to try a variety over being relegated to a whole pie of one flavor. I really enjoyed all the pizza, it's got a nice chewy but light crust and great flavor. The straciatellla in particular was well made and super creamy. I also liked the crispy old world pepperoni cups. The housemade soft serve/gelato was out of this world. Honestly if you were here on a date and grabbed a couple of slices and a glass of wine or two, it'd be a pretty reasonable date! The only downside here really is not knowing when you show up if you'll be able to snag a seat or not. But the service was really friendly here and the food was good - they deserve the crowds!!! I'm shocked that I hadn't done a review on this cute establishment yet seeing as it's a go to for me when I want a quick minimally lactose slice of pizza and a refreshing glass of wine with a homemade dessert! My go to when ordering is their wood fire margarita pizza. Their homemade pizza sauce is full of blended garlic, Italian spices and most importantly, tomato's! It's packed full of flavor that honestly, doesn't even need cheese when topped on a pizza. Their pizza bread is very thin, similar to a classic New York Style pizza with the crust being fluffy flavorful, similar to most wood fire pizzas! I love the way it crunches! They ad tahin to the crust which gives the pizza an interesting taste! I'm slowly doing away with sweets but I wanted to have a well rounded experience here so I ordered their recommended butter chocolate chip cookie! It was incredible! It was certainly like a buttery, thick homemade chocolate chip cookie that was buttery and Christy on the outside and goewy on the inside! Perfect balance the sugars, flour and butter! I wish I knew the cookie recipe for this! There is plenty of seating indoors and outdoors. I sat indoors and people watched! Parking is a bit of a challenge. There is only street parking available (free) and the likely hood of you finding street parking close to the venue is 2/10. Despite that, it's worth the parking hassle. The staff were very nice and suggestive of what eat and pair with your food! You leave your plates ect behind and they clean it up for you when you're done so that surprised me a bit from your typical pizza joint! read more

I came across this spot while looking up restaurants with cute patios and I'm so glad we did. We arrived around 6 pm on a Friday and we had to hover a bit before finding an open spot outside. They have a fantastic wine selection that can be ordered either by the glass or by the bottle. Around the corner is all day pizza which offers ~10 pizza types that can be ordered by the slice or by the pie. They offer a "buy 5 slices, get the 6th free" promo so we made a sampler pizza which only came out to ~$4.75/slice. The pizza is huge so we barely got through 3 slices between the two of us (and saved the rest for leftovers). While the vibe seems relatively casual based off of the pictures on Yelp, I'd recommend throwing on a cute outfit. I made the mistake of showing up in jeans and a tshirt to find that almost everyone else was wearing a sundress.
