The dental nurse that took my X-ray was extremely helpful and made me feel at ease while clearly showing her expertise in how she explained every thing she was doing. And the Dentist himself was fantastic. Not only very kind and easy to talk to, but again just extremely informative. Went in great detail at everything we were looking at, reassured any concerns I had with a very transparent and candid manor, and gave me easy to follow tangible advice on follow up care. Not once did I feel pressured into any unneeded treatment, or judged for having not been to a dentist in so long. I'm so happy I found them and can't recommend them enough!

I was in concideral amount of pain at the time. That was my own fault. Still the man has the patience of a saint. He recommended that I get a root canal and sent me to Dr Loxly in Santa Rosa who also took me as an emergency. Turns out that the roots were cracked and the tooth had to come out. I went back to Dr Mattson for this. I am a huge baby when it comes to my mouth. I have to say Dr Mattson has a wonderful bedside manner and a soothing voice. They wanted to schedule me about 32 hours away with a dentist who is not Nate or Jeff and claimed they could not prescribe an antibiotic without an exam. I am on the phone now trying to get some help today--Monday, not a weekend, not a holiday, with a dentist I have never seen because the ones who took my money and have my x-rays and records are not willing to help me. A woman staff person named Erica is not kind or empathic but defensive and dismissive. I would go anywhere else for dental care before I would give these people more money.
