I showed up for my 12pm tour and was told by the guide's room mate that the guide was out of town and he didn't understand why an appointment would've been booked. Frankly, I don't understand it either. I have reached out to get my $45 back. I felt that this may have been a scam, and I'm pretty sure it is since everyone else's reviews had them meeting up at other places while the confirmation I received said to meet up at the address provided, which is literally someone's house. Sorry for busting in your weekend, room mate. But I definitely want a refund since I was able to book and pay for a tour that wasn't going to happen due to the tour guide being "out of town".

I called this morning to be told the rentals ended at 4 and was never told I needed a reservation. I look for the shop around 2 (which I never found) and called the shop to be told he's currently teaching a lesson to a group and to meet him along the water. I went to the shore, he wasn't there. Call back, he tells us to meet at a marina, he's not there. I walked up and down both Hollywood Lakes, spoke with Skipper multiple times to never find him. I gave up by 3:30 seeing the place closed at 4 and never received a call or apology.

We rented the Kayak and it was a scenic ride. The guide gave great instructions on how to navigate the kayak and channels. I think it's a great adventure for everyone to try. Similar to a car you need to be 16 to drive one so my 11 year old daughter was on the back of mine and my 6 and 9 year old sons joined my husband. We met Dominic at the Pioneer Park- boat ramps in Deerfield Beach. Please note that this location is different than the address on the Yelp review since we were a bit confused ourselves. We started off slow getting used to the jet skis and also admiring the beautiful homes on the intercoastal. Then for about 30-45 minutes we got to go as fast as we could zipping over massive waves and holding on for dear life. I thought we were speed demons, but my thrill seeking daughter kept yelling at me that I wasn't going fast enough. My 9 year old son did fall off the back of my husband's jet ski, but he claimed that was the most fun part of the excursion. .And Dominic was nearby the entire time to help out in these situations and more, but overall we felt very safe. 1.5 hours was perfect and everyone had a great time. They declared it their favorite day in South Florida and made us promise we'll rent jet skis again on a future trip. Done!

I needed to renew my ACA instructor certification and wanted to get WPA instructor certification, so I did an ACA Level 1 and 2 SUP workshop and WPA level 1 SUP instructor training/certification with TFY. Meghan is the best SUP instructor/instructor trainer I've had. She's obviously very knowledgeable, but more importantly, she's also awesome at conveying that knowledge. We covered a huge amount of information in the ACA L1/2 workshop, but she made it manageable and easily understandable. The welcome letter she sends prior to class is very helpful and lets you know what to bring, the schedule, and what to expect. Her videos are also extremely helpful to watch beforehand. I thought the ACA workshop would be largely review for me, but I was surprised by how much I learned. She's also very upbeat, encouraging, and patient, and her low-pressure approach creates the perfect environment for learning. She taught high school math for 9 years, and I think her background in education plus her SUP knowledge and skills make her an outstanding instructor and instructor trainer. I'm looking forward to returning for ACA L1/2 instructor certification training.

Spent spring break with my best friend in Dania Beach and when I…read morecalled to rent 2 boards we did not know where the local beaches were Ron offered to drop off in Fort Lauderdale since we were only Ft. Lauderdale a couple times (for drinks not the beach) and we explained how we weren't locals and since the bridge was down walking to our local beach was under construction Ron offered to pick us up from our hotel, bring us to our local beach and since it was a cold day (for Florida, not for NJ locals as ourselves! - it was prob 69 degrees) he said he could spend the 4 hours with us since it would be a slow day. This was our first time paddle boarding and Ron is a great instructor! I picked up balancing on my feet after a couple minutes & we talked about how I teach/dance ballet and he knew a couple Miami city ballerinas, initially my friend and I thought it could be weird having a stranger with us for 4 hours but we ended up making a friend and had so much fun! Spent about 3 hours in John Lloyd State park to get used to boat traffic/go through the mangroves/experience waves & we had so much fun time flew by! Ended up spending the last hour at the beach which was a lot of fun seeing local surfers a few waves away, so happy we decided to rent/learn from Ron! It was quite an experience and was best to do it on the last day of our vacation because our arms were killing during the flight back home!! Thank you so much Ron!
