We had: 1) fried chicken ranch sandwich with fries -17$ & 2) beef brisket hash -19$ . Both were tasty and presented nicely! . i liked the hash better and loved the potatos. I'd say a hint of salt and some hot sauce and it was Perfs. . Overall a very nice restaurant with great food at a very reasonable price. We stayed at the Sheraton Eau Claire during our stop in Calgary. We were at this restaurant for one dinner and two breakfast seatings. Breakfast was included in our hotel package and it made our stay convenient. We ate dinner at the restaurant when we arrived on our first night. It was only one server working and he was busy running around. We had a different server for both breakfast seatings and he was great. He asked all the right questions that were needed for a smooth meal (ie coffee, jam, extra toast). The food was great for hotel standards. Everything was nicely presented and tasty. We ended up staying at the sheraton eau claire which is a beautiful and wonderful hotel. They have many food choices surrounding them. Our daughter was exhausted after the pool so we couldn't go out for dinner. We ended up ordering from downstairs and going to grab it once it was called as our baby was sleeping. When it comes up to your room it's in airtight containers. The heat ends up making your food soggy and completely unenjoyable. We went with kale caesar salad with chicken, calamari, and chicken wings. The food was prepared very quickly and in a timely matter. The kale caesar had the BBQ chicken inside which wilted the kale and melted all the cheese in the salad which was super disappointing. It probably would have been really great if the chicken was in a different container. The calamari was unfortunately so soggy within the five minutes it took us to get the food back upstairs. We ended up tossing it out. The wings were about the best part of this meal. It could have been a lot better but the containers they use for room service makes the food subpar. read more

The best thing about this restaurant was the fresh decor and friendly service. Unfortunately the food was underwhelming. My Caesar salad was bland with a thick tasteless mayonnaise salad dressing and lots of white Romaine lettuce chunks. I only ate it because it was late and I was starving. The strangest thing about the dining experience at Flower & Wolf was the music which continually blared loud 60's and 70's rock. Kansas' mournful "All we are in dust in the wind" is not really what you want to listen to over a meal! Granted this is a hotel restaurant but in the future, I'm probably going to go to the hotel's Irish pub instead for dinner. read more

Went to Flower and Wolf on a Friday night with a 7:45pm reservation. We ordered dinner around 8:30pm, salads landed by 8:40pm, but without any cutlery. That followed a minute later. The mains arrived about 8:50pm and a few minutes after that, our waitress informed us that it was last call for drinks. When we called to make the reservation, we were told they stayed open until 10pm. At about 9:15pm, while we were not even halfway through our dinner, the waitress arrived to ask if we wanted dessert, because if we did, we needed to order it now. Hmm. We declined. I've eaten at Flower & Wolf once before and had a nice meal. Last night's food was good as well, but the consistent bum's-rush put us off. Across the street at Joey's, the mood seemed festive and fun, and at 9:30pm on a Friday, gave no hint that it was ending anytime soon. Maybe we should have gone there instead. read more

During our stay at the Sheraton Eau Claire, we had breakfast at Flower & Wolf as it was a part of our hotel package. It's a very pleasant, attractive restaurant that has great artwork of the Calgary skyline. The servers were all extremely friendly and attentive. We dined with our children and felt the breakfast section was very family friendly. The pancakes both our children had were fluffy and nicely made. My husband had the brisket hash and thought it was filling, savoury and well prepared. I had the main breakfast that came with eggs, bacon, sausage, mushrooms, a grilled tomato, sourdough toast and crispy potatoes. I was extremely pleased with it and will not need to eat lunch! Would absolutely return and would be interested to see what their dinner is like. read more

Atrocious service. Went for dessert on a Monday at 8PM. There were a few diners but it was very quiet. Sat there for a solid 15 minutes without so much as water. Entire experience took an hour for a hot chocolate and a slice of pie. read more

This restaurant is located in the Sheraton Suites Calgary Eau Claire which is the hotel located in Eau Claire Market. This year they had a booth at "Taste of Calgary" which I think is good and important because I do not think that enough people go to hotels to eat when really hotel restaurants can be really delicious. At their booth they served: - Spiced Nuts (which is really nothing special) that were gluten free and vegetarian - Smoked brisket sliders - Grilled corn on the cob with child lime butter and huitlacoche aioli which was vegetarian. From there 3 food items they had a majority that were vegetarian or gluten free. However, because of the nuts this place automatically was not a nut free environment for people with nut allergies and they had no food items that were dairy free. The corn on the cob could have been until they added the aioli that made it not dairy free. Still good though! read more

The food here will not disappoint. Every forkful is a burst of flavor so good you want to write about it. The salmon was out of this world. Pea shoots and a pile of dill was just the burst of green flavor to complete this dish. Every bite has a settle sweetness of maple. The skin is something to be devoured. The smoked cod croquettes are perfect crispy pockets full of smoky meaty fish flavor perfectly packaged with its mustard tartar sauce. Finished nicely with dessert. Let not forget the pretty drinks. Average hotel food. Have changed the menu since the last time I stayed in the hotel. Pizza used to be a Flatbread pizza with a crispy crunch and was pretty good. Now it is soft and doughy and resembles a kids menu pizza. read more

First of all I have to mention the staff. If I could 10 star review I would. We have never had service like this from the management to the kitchen to the waiters and waitresses. Fantastic. This restaurant not only redeemed itself but surpassed our expectations beyond. Truly everything was amazing and the staff not only made sure we were happy but ensured we were. It was dressed with blueberries, orange whipped cream and maple syrup! The chicken club was such a great basic sandwich but made to perfection. Bacon was crispy. my partner and I stayed at the Sheraton Eau Claire for the week and went to Flower and WolF for lunch near the end of our stay. We ordered a fried chicken sandwich which was rumoured to be the best thing on the menu and a Reuben sandwich which is a classic. The service was good, however slow as the restaurant started to get busier. When the food arrived it looked amazing and we couldn't wait to dig in. Service was good (they were busy and so it can take time and likely expected). The food was good and presented well overall. I can't get over the high prices mind you; if you don't paying $9 for oatmeal (are you serious?). Another shortfall is if you like whole grain or rye or almond or soy milk and other items missing off the menu because it's small page to begin with. As we entered we got seated right away and got waters right away, which was nice especially after being out in the sun for a long period of time. They had a good selection of food and I chose to get the Brisket sandwich with a side of fries. The food took about 30 mins to get to the table, but the restaurant wasn't busy at all. Food was mediocre at best- the fries were way too thick and not very flavourful. Probably wouldn't come back if I didn't have to. read more
