Stopped in yesterday after not having been here in quite awhile and was instantly reminded why! Although the staff is very friendly and professional, your products leave much to be desired! We ended up buying 6 different types of flower and every single one of them smelled good, but once consumed tasted like mold and mildew....what we call "musty muckluck" as it taste like damp mold!y boot! This business breaks state law by allowing broken cartridges to be brought back in the store. They had me drive back across town and bring it in to tell me, even though it was coming out the top of the mouth piece and was getting on my mouth that they would not take it back. Why tell someone you will take it back then after they drive over and go out of theyre way, refuse to? They lost a couple customers for sure. I called early this morning to find out why I couldn't buy 2oz of medical online. The manager couldn't get on the system because it was too early. She didn't say that it probably occurred because of inventory issues. I told her I'd be up. I don't go into stores presently. So, I was disappointed I had to go in. I wanted to drive up. I got there early and waited. Upon being waited on, I requested two oz of a strain and he weighed it up. When he went to ring it up, he couldn't sell me more than an ounce. He asked the manager for more product. Couldn't do it. He stuck to only selling me an oz. The manager came in and started making excuses. I've had this happen before, with the same rude manager. She needed to make a transfer or something and instead of doing her job, she decided to attack me for complaining. I want to buy their product. She went back out front. The bud tender then got rude. Told me I'd only get one oz. and, "you can take you buttons back". I make Colorado buttons and give them out. In this case, the bud tender was already wearing one of mine. When finished, I went back to the manager to complain about their rudeness. I'm a "customer". Suck it up. She made more excuses, wanting to blame me, for her not doing her job. Then the bud tender comes out and starts threatening me. WTF? Go sell buds, bud tender. And take my button off of your lanyard, fool. I wouldn't even give them one star. I've been a member for several years. When the manager said "you can go to one of the other eleven dispensaries in town" I was confused. Does her boss know that she is such a shitty manager. I've never had anyone else there be anything but helpful and nice. These people should get a new job if they can't smile and please the customer. Incidentally, there are fourteen other dispensaries in FC. All of which would probably like my business, as they are probably in it to make money. Her final statement to me was that "they have been bought out." I'm not sure if that was the reason for her shifty attitude, but I hope the new owner gets rid of her. Karen, another manager, is a much better "people person" and manager. Aside from having to interact with these people, I've always enjoyed going here. Lately, their inventory, on the med side, is lacking product. Just excuses there. Not on the rec side. I had to go to the rec side to buy anything worthwhile. Flower power is less than a mile from my house so I figured I would try them out. I purchased an ounce of orange kush. As soon as I went to break up the first bud seeds started to fall out. Rather than asking for our med card they automatically assumed and told us we were on the wrong side. they continued to be rude when the med card was proven so we left. the experience left us feeling irked so we called to speak with someone about it. the kid on the phone was just as rude. the medical side at Natural Alternatives and Solace Meds are both much friendlier and more inviting... we will continue to give them our business. Worst customer service ever! Basically, if you ask a question as to why the price is higher than what is quoted online you are told F U! That's exactly what was said to me. More surprising, the manager didn't say anything to her employee(White male with shoulder length, dirty blonde hair). And he said F U right in front of her. Never seen an employee speak inappropriate words to a customer who has not even said one cuss word, and retain their job. yet he did, and wasn't even spoken to. I literally had to ask her to have him leave me alone. Harassment. All for asking a question. And they do not honor what is quoted to you online. As a business owner, you should always honor the online system to keep customers happy because that's what they think they're paying. Very nice staff, don't seem extremely knowledgeable but will help you as much as you need. The bud is priced great and is pretty good, but definitely no where near the quality of places like Leiffa and Organic Alternatives. Their live resin is dirt cheap and always good quality, but do not get the sale wax. I got a sale gram of regular wax and it definitely was not purged enough. Terrible taste on the exhale and left more of a tar on the nail after than normal. Will never buy any wax besides live resin from them again. read more

I'm moving down to Fort Collins in August and I got to visit Flower Power while I was down there viewing homes. I was treated very kindly in reception and in the product room as well. As I was rung in a small mistake was made and I was given member prices despite not being a member! The manager was very professional about it and let me have the 4 grams of sale concentrate for $60! I'm not gonna complain about that deal! For there only being 2 dispensaries in FOCO that accept med patients under 21 ( which is a bummer ) I definitely know where I'll become a member at. read more

This place could be great if they had some friendly people working. As soon as you enter you go in a room to be mean mugged by the receptionist 9 out of 10 times, to then go in another room to be mean mugged by two more people 10 out of 10 times. Coming here every few days and still, people working are exceptionally rude and would rather have a side conversation then help, and when they do help it's as if you are a burden. I would rather pay $70 for 1/8 elsewhere to not deal with the rude workers here, and that is exactly what I did, and plenty more people I talk with have also decided. My experience isn't near as bad as some of the other people I've spoke to. If kindness is something that makes your decision on where to go, avoid this dispensary at all costs. I was spending around $300 a week on my medicine here but couldnt handle the budtenders so i switched to around $400 a week at a better dispo and couldn't be happier. If you're not a local AVOID AT ALL COSTS as I imagine they would treat you far worse than the locals, and that is already horrible. Do check out different dispensaries!! We are repeat customers for one and always have good customer service but this time a new guy was scanning ID's and kept scanning my husband's over and over giving him a hard time. I don't know if he was new but it made me upset because my husband is a black man and he didn't do that to any of the other customers in front or behind us. I've heard great things about Flower Power from friends and was excited to give them a try. They were affordable, quick, nice, and their website was easy to use. HOWEVER the reason I only gave 3 stars is because I ordered an eighth and what I got is definitely less than an eighth. I understand businesses and staff are strained with the pandemic and social distancing restrictions, but it's very disappointing to get less than you payed for. I'd say I got closer to 2.5 grams. This was my first visit to a legal dispensary, and I couldn't have asked for a better experience! They were open before 9 am, the location was easy to find with plenty of parking, and most of all, the staff was friendly, welcoming, and extremely knowledgable. The guy who checked us in took the time to answer all my silly questions and share his expertise with me, which is important in this business, especially considering how controversial the idea of legal weed is to a lot of people. Getting information out there and showing people that cannibis is not something to fear is definitely what needs to happen to expand public opinion and really get the legalization ball moving for the rest of the country. These guys are going by the book and doing it right, in my opinion, and I will absolutely be returning in the future. read more

Flower Power capitalizes on the fact that they are the only dispensary in town. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME. I got an ounce of bud for top dollar, and there was 6 (six) grams of shake under the leafy, stemmy buds. This place really is a joke. I called nicely and asked if they would refund my medicine and just switch it out with some of their other product. The manager told me that the medicine they gave me was from another grower, and that they couldn't return it. She explained that while in their store, you must ask which buds are from which grower in order to obtain "returnable product". This sad excuse for a clinic is providing its patients with overpriced, low quality medicine. It is a shame. read more

I was pleased when I first visited Flower Power, about a year ago, and it was OK but really pricy for mediocre bud. The cones are consistently horrible - more stem than weed - and the 8ths and quarters are the same. The last "high grade" herb I bought from them was a quarter of MOSTLY LEAVES - and I'm not talking their normal bad trim, with a lot of sugar leaves. It was like they'd topped off the weight of a couple of seedy buds off with leaves - most of it was totally unsmokable and totally harsh. They were mediocre last year - this year it seems like the business has become blatantly dishonest. It's really unconscionable to charge the prices they do for such a poor product, weighted down by so many stems, seeds and leaves. read more
