One assistant was busy but the other one was very rude and did not even smile or nod in our direction. I found the price of the shoes and the accessories to be very overpriced for what they were and they seemed to suffer from wedding syndrome - where if you add the word 'wedding' at the front then the price doubles! I have spoken to another girl who had a better experience here but I would not recommend this shop - buy some designer shoes instead!

As well as an absolutely beautiful selection of flowers - Quidest also stocks a range of cards. Now, these are just not any cards. These are a great selection of really sophisticated cards - and they're not that unreasonably priced either! As well as bejewelled and sparkly cards, you'll also find a range of Banksy printed cards. Eleanor, the owner and head florist, is really friendly and will make you feel right at home while she whips up a beautiful bouquet for you. She also does weddings - so keep Quidest in mind if you're planning a bit of a "do". I'd definitely recommend that you try this florist next time you're after some blooms!

I knew what kind of photos I…read morewanted, and spent ages hunting around for that particular style of photographer (they describe it as fine art photojournalism, I call it natural-style photos!). They have lots of photos to check out on their website which reassured me that these were the people for me. We had a meeting with them in their house/studio in the Finnieston/Charing Cross area. They are a really nice pair who are friendly and easy to talk to, and we spent about 30 minutes talking over what Graeme and I wanted, and what they did. We booked them for our wedding not long after that, and paid a deposit to confirm the booking. We had another meeting before the wedding to run through the plan for the day, and then changed it the day before because the weather was going to be lovely. They were so easy to deal with about the changes that we didn't have to worry at all. On the day, they were amazing to deal with - professional, friendly and happy and they just got on with what they were doing without any bother to us. We had a small period for set photos we wanted with guests etc, and they were great at rounding everyone up. We got a link to the online gallery of our photos about 2 weeks after the wedding so we could order the ones we liked - it was really simple and straightforward. I can't remember how long it took to get the disc of photos (we went for a DVD only option rather than getting prints) but it was nicely presented in a black folder for us to keep. Our package was for 8 hours of photography with the DVD of photos and cost £950 - I've had a look on their website, and this is still their current price for that package. I really enjoyed having Alicja and Michael as our wedding photographers and couldn't recommend them highly enough.

Mark the photographer is very friendly and obtrusive and is firm without being too bossy. The price structure is great and it is an affortable option for those who still want high quality photographs. Mark really did go the extra mile at our wedding and we really appreciated all of his hard work.
