Due to a hectic schedule, it dawned on me that I had not ordered flowers for the Memorial service for my friend on Oct 5th. At 4pm, the day before the service, I called two florists. Understandably, most florists close at 5pm, so I had to hustle! The first shop said they prefer two days notice. When I called Lorena's shop, the lady said she was taking an order and would call me back. I was not sure she would make that call and it was my own fault. 10 minutes later, they did call, took their time to help me select an appropriate bouquet in the $125 to $150 price range. They were patient and kind to describe wreaths, bouquets and plants, colors and sizes available. They were prompt in delivering a beautiful keepsake basket on time to the church at 10AM. Never again will I wait til the last minute for such an important occasion. Fortunately for me, they were willing to come in early to make sure my custom order was ready. read more

I requested my husband go here to pick up my birthday flowers because I was hoping to find something locally owned I could go to for all of our flowery events. I probably buy twenty bouquets a year, and I wanted to find a florist who can make things unique and beautiful. I requested a variety of pink and purple flowers, no reds or yellows, and no lilies. I gave them a reference photo. When my husband picked the flowers up, it was obvious they did not look at the photo and did not read the request. The bouquet had at least twelve lilies. First impressions are lasting impressions- My flowers that were delivered to me 4/7/2022 were not looking beautiful at all, some of the flowers were wilted and the roses were dry. Obviously providing excellent customer service and fresh flowers are not on their list of high standards!! The reviews are pretty bad, two stars for this establishment. I ordered a bouquet from their website on Oct 7 to be delivered to a friend for her birthday on Oct 31. I thought it was weird that I didn't receive an email confirmation after placing the order. So I dm'd them on Instagram and waited for their response. I hoped they would respond quickly because they had just made a post on Instagram. On Oct 8, I read yelp reviews about this florist and was starting to get worried after seeing all the bad reviews. I still hadn't received a response on Instagram. Luckily, I wrote down my order number because I didn't get a confirmation email, so I messaged them on Facebook with my order number at 4:44 pm, hoping it would help more. They read my message at 8:57 pm and no response. I called them on Oct 9 in the morning asking if I would be able to receive an email confirmation. The lady I was talking to asked for the recipient's name, what website I ordered from, and THE DATE THE FLOWERS WERE TO BE DELIVERED. She said she would look into it and would send me an email confirmation soon. A few hours later, I noticed my card got charged. I called them again and asked where my email confirmation was. A different worker answered and again asked me THE DATE THE FLOWERS WERE TO BE DELIVERED. The worker seemed to be confused as to why I was asking for an email confirmation. And I told her I just wanted an official receipt to make sure my order was confirmed and correct. She rudely told me the charge on my card was my "receipt." I didn't want to argue so I just agreed. Oct 10, my friend told me she received the flowers around 4pm. And I am VERY PISSED OFF. First, the flowers were to be DELIVERED OCT 31 and I also requested the flowers to be sent around 12pm. They were delivered 3 WEEKS EARLY and at the WRONG TIME. When I called the florist twice on Oct 9, BOTH WORKERS asked me what day the flowers were to be delivered and I confirmed Oct 31. Please, tell me WHY the flowers were sent 3 WEEKS EARLY! Next, I mean, COME ON. Just look at the photos! It looks NOTHING like the one on their website. The flowers aren't arranged properly, and some of the flowers are missing?? Like there's supposed to be some white flowers but they're not there! The pumpkin is RIDICULOUS. The eyes and mouth are made of PAPER and HOT GLUED ON. They didn't even do a proper job and there's some dried glue on the eye that looks like it's crying. It looks like a 5 year old cut out the shapes. My friend told me she had to push the eye back on so it would stay in place. And why is there a squirrel????? I'm honestly so upset with this florist and that I paid $67 for something overpriced and SO HIDEOUS. TLDR: DO NOT BUY FROM FLOWERS BY LORENA. Horrible customer service. My husband buys me flowers every week from Sam's club for my office. My daughter started a new job in Chino on Wednesday 1/8/20. So I decided to send her flowers. When she brought them home on Friday 1/10/20 I was extremely disappointed they look over a week old. Not fresh at all. A lot of the flowers were already wilting. I placed an order online for flowers to be delivered on a Sunday and only after asking the recipient on the following Tuesday, I found out she had not received anything at all. I had called Monday, left a message and did not receive a call back. Tuesday I called in the morning a few times, left a message again and did not receive a call back. Finally Tuesday afternoon I called and someone answered. To my disappointment, the excuse was "we are closed on Sunday." It pains me to have to take time on Valentine's Day to write a bad review but after reading so many others had similar or worse experiences with this place, I felt the need to do it. And honestly, I wish my boyfriend had read the reviews before he got them because he was so disappointed. I have been using this flower shop for more than 10 years. I ordered flowers today for my wife with instructions to call me so that I could have her meet them at the door because our doorbell at the moment is inoperable. They never called me and they left them on the front porch in the Sun in 95-degree weather. The arrangement was thrown together and the quality of the flowers were substandard. When I called the flower shop back to discuss my concerns, I was told there were no deliveries instructions, mind you I'm speaking to the person who took my order, who asked me for my contact information and the best phone number to reach me by. Then I was hung up on. I have no intentions of ever ordering from them in the future. A more than 10 year relationship ruined by their inability to follow instructions and place the blame on the customer. $162 purchase and was treated with an attitude of you get what you get. I had ordered and paid for a large floral arrangement from this place, and when they delivered it, it turned out to be a small arrangement which i think was "robbery".
