The salmon was cooked to perfection--tender, flavorful, and paired wonderfully with the fresh asparagus and tomatoes. The other entrée was just as incredible, rich in flavor and perfectly balanced. You can truly tell that the chef puts both passion and attention into every plate. What made the evening even more special was the service. The team was warm, welcoming, and incredibly attentive without ever being intrusive. It felt like every guest was treated with genuine care, adding such a personal touch to the entire experience. Came on a quiet Friday night, and they accommodated us in delaying closing the kitchen. Loved everything we had. My daughter regretted ordering the 'kids meal' after she tried my beef cheek with polenta, and said that's what she's gonna get next time! The dinner portion is def European size :) leave just enough room for sharing dessert. I hope that they rotate menu items as selections in each section is small. It helps in making decision but, for the return visits, while some like consistency, some would like varieties. Surprise to find a kid play area, but sadly my kid has outgrown it. The French Toast (or they call it Belgian toast or whatever) is one TINY, thin piece of bread with some cream and berries for $16! All other portion sizes were also small for the price, but this was particularly completely ridiculous (and I wish I had checked Yelp because I'm not the first person to comment on this). They also market them themselves as organic and healthy, but every single recipe features heavy cream, sour cream and/or gravy (a healthy restaurant where even an omelette has heavy cream?). The Shakshuka tasted like plain tomato sauce and the egg whites were removed, it was literally just egg yolks in marinara. They misrepresent the portion sizes when you look at the pictures on their website, and in my opinion, they are playing with their customers on the prices. Instead of making things a whole number (like $16), they made everything $0.10 less so that the first number is smaller ($15.9). While Walmart and Target are known to do that, I've never seen a restaurant to do it. The kids playroom is a good idea in theory, but since we were not sitting at one of the 3 tables next to it, all it meant was that I had to stand next to my toddler in the playroom while the rest of my party sat in a completely different part of the restaurant. The music also not very calming for cafe called Fluffy Bunny? It's just club techno, which is a very interesting choice everyone in our party noticed. I have been waiting for a good breakfast place in Long Grove for a long, long time but this is not it. With Sorelle just down the street, and the Long Grove Coffee Shop/Blue Fig right in town (all of which are substantially cheaper), I am not sure why anyone would ever go here. read more

Located in a historic house in a historic downtown, Fluffy Bunny has an updated and modern look on the inside. The menu features more savory dishes than your typical brunch menu. I had the golden crumble pancakes. They featured blackberries, blueberries, strawberries, and a creamy glaze. Our server was very nice and friendly. Finally, Long Grove has a place where you can enjoy a truly delicious breakfast on a Monday! We visited Fluffy Bunny this week and absolutely loved it. The food tastes homemade and prepared with so much care and love. My daughter completely fell in love with the syrniki -- they were honestly some of the best we've had. I also tried the pumpkin soup, which instantly became my favorite. My husband ordered the Nordic omelet, and when my husband compliments food, trust me, that's the highest praise possible! One of the biggest highlights for us is the amazing play area for kids. Anyone who has breakfast with young children knows that once they're done eating, they want to run and play. Here, kids have a beautiful playroom where they can have fun while parents can actually relax and enjoy a great cup of coffee. Another thing we really appreciated was the wonderful staff. The girls who served us were incredibly friendly and welcoming. It was especially helpful that they spoke both English and Russian. My daughter doesn't speak much English yet, and my husband doesn't speak Russian, so having staff who could communicate with both of them made us feel even more comfortable and welcome. And a special thank you to the owners for being open on Mondays! So many places in Long Grove are closed at the beginning of the week, and it's such a treat to have somewhere cozy to enjoy a great breakfast. Only one slice of toast and one egg with some greens and tomatoes. And the toast is not even homemade. Charge full price as other brunch places. My husband got a French toast. Only one slice of bread and some berries. Not out of this world taste sauce to top it off. In my opinion, come here only if you are not hungry and want small portions but don't mind paying full price...or counting calories. What a cute name for a restaurant. The interior is very bunny forward of course. The decor is calming and comfortable. The seating is varied with chairs and booths. There is a large front window that brings in a lot of light in a good way. The server was kind and attentive. We ordered the Pumpkin cream soup, the Croque Madam Waffle and the Ricotta Fluff. The server returned after we ordered and said the soup was unavailable due to "unforseen circumstances ". The waffle breakfast was good but there was only one thin slice of turkey between the Belgium waffles making it too bready. The egg on top was over cooked and not runny. It was filling though. The Ricotta Fluff was better with avocado tomatoes and an egg. The server comped us an almond croissant in liu of the soups not being available. They make a good cappuccino. The prices are quite expensive for breakfast food. The parking behind the restaurant is very limited but if you park in the lot about a block away there is ample parking. The restaurant is not wheelchair or walker friendly unless there is a back entry that I didn't see. Overall it's a cute place. We may return again to try the soups. read more
