This should only be a one night hotel stay, if you have to, for the sheer convenience of transportation to and from the Frankfurt train station. This was laughable, to say the least. The area here is pretty sketchy; there's nothing amazing about it, besides the awesome gyro place across the street. Looks are truly deceiving with this hotel. We checked in pretty seamlessly, and had already paid in full prior to arrival. We were offered the breakfast at 7AM, but were heading to the airport at 5:30AM for a 8:15AM flight back to NYC. We were given our key card for room 602. We went up into the elevator, and when we approached the room, the hallway automatically lit up with neon lights, like a club. Strange, but okay. Things get strange when we get into the room. Being on the 6th floor was really noisy; we heard all the street traffic perfectly. So much for a quiet room. The room has an awkward layout. You walk in, and immediately to your right, is the bathroom, but the bathroom has a frosted glass wall that you can look into the bedroom with! What?! Why?! You can't actually see the person standing in the shower naked, but you can see their feet. Oh! The bathroom floor was absolutely disgusting, with mold and mildew from God knows how long ago. We stood on towels to take our showers before we flew home; it was a necessary measure that's for sure! The worst of it all, was the broken bed. The bed is divided into two full size beds, but my husband's side was broken. We lifted the mattress up together, and saw that the wooden plank that they used to support the mattress was not in securely and bolted down. It was like a see-saw! My husband had to sleep diagonally or he would've fallen into the bed - literally. This whole place needs to be renovated!

The hotel looked modern from the outside and I liked the decor inside too. The rooms were well sized and clean with lovely bathrooms. Breakfast was good offering a full buffet of hot and cold food. It was definitely worth the price I paid (44 euros) but I am giving it only 4 stars because of the location: my room was facing a main road and I was woken up by the loud traffic in the morning.

I'd just come from a week in a slightly run-down hotel in Cologne amid hot and humid weather. Arriving at the 25h after that and the adventure of plowing through the crowds at the train station was like stepping into another universe: a calming air-conditioned oasis with cool art and friendly people. I was so happy with the room that I didn't budge that first evening, opting for snacks and the cozy bed in favor of exploring the city. The next morning, I enjoyed a light breakfast in the hotel and then prepared to hit the streets for a few hours before heading to the airport - now, those streets are a little bit sketchy, even for this city-living city lover. But that's only for a few blocks. In retrospect I'd be a bit cautious about this neighborhood in the dark though. Wouldn't you know it, it was starting to rain as I got ready to go - but of course, they had umbrellas at the desk. I felt well taken care of. "Well taken care of" really sums up my whole experience at the 25h. I wasn't there for long, but will unquestionably look forward to staying here the next time I'm in Frankfurt.

Yea the neighborhood to the left is a tad sketchy, but for the most part if you mind your own business you are fine. Just exit to the right when you come out of the hotel
