This is about Flying Pie Eagle. What a mess. I will never go there again. Have gone to Fairview and State St. for years. Never had an experience like tonight.Called in order and paid for it and when I got to the window was told that they put my pizza in an oven that was not turned on. They had to remake my pizza and I had to wait another 20 minutes. Rude employees didn't apologize . Just walked away. I asked to speak to the manager ,Cody, He never came out to explain or offer an accommodation. Finally got the pizza and it was mediocre. Not as good as Fairview. Eagle needs to get its act together. read more

When we walked in, at 8:30 on Thrursday, there were no staff in sight. We sat at the bar for at least 5 minutes before we encountered any staff. It was worth mentioning that we eventually discovered that there were about 6 people on the clock. We placed our order for a pizza and some beers, and the bartender closed out our tab. So much for the up-sell I guess. No greeting and no atmosphere. Certainly not the Flying Pie experience of old. This will surely not keep us for trying again at the Meridian location due to the fact that we have always had a great experience at the other locations. Perhaps it was just an off night. However, overall customer approach and customer service was nowhere near the usual fun, upbeat Flying Pie experience. read more

I love Flying Pie. But when I went on their app just now I tried to log in the app did not recognize my email address. So I called the restaurant and explained that I couldn't get logged on because of that and he took my phone number and said that my email was correct. So I asked if I could order the 5 14" specialties pizzas for 99.95 offer that I received in my email, and he said, "sure". I explained that I wanted them delivered Wednesday at 5pm and he said that wouldn't be a problem, with a $6.00 delivery charge, which was fine. He then asked for the delivery address and I told him it was to The Lift just down the road on State St. He said he couldn't take an order without an address. Google? I told him never mind, I would order from Domino's down the street, as they sure know where it is. Comment was "fine" have a good evening! This was going to be a $100 order. read more

The Pizza is Five Star, everything else is Three Star or less.... I've been a Flying Pie customer for over 20 years, this used to be my go-to, they used to have friendly staff, a great Salad Bar, DELICIOUS Food and Beer selection, and great options for take out and delivery. Congratulations to them for being put on the map by a bunch of press telling everyone they're the best Pizza in Idaho. I think the fame and success has disconnected Flying Pie from the customers that put them on the map. Slowly but surely they're getting rid of all the best parts of the Flying Pie Experience. The wait staff is no longer friendly, and they don't seem very interested in customers, no more salad bar, I've had more than one beer from their tap come out FLAT as Kansas, no more option to bake at home (Par-Bake), and they don't even take their own orders for delivery anymore. They farm the order taking out to an automated menu, so first you talk to a robot, then when the robot doesn't work you speak to a call center, they outsource delivery to Door Dash and charge an $8.00 delivery fee. I recently ordered a 3 cheese pizza with a couple of add on toppings, by the time they tacked on all the extra fees it was a $42.00 14" pizza that arrived 1/2 hour later than promised (and they screwed up my order). What the hell happened to this place? This used to be my secret favorite place, not anymore. The Pizza is still delicious, but the customer experience has turned to garbage. read more

Wow...what a great pizza!!! We were on our way back from a little day trip to the mountains and decided to call in a pizza order to pick up on the way home. After reading several reviews, mostly good, a few not so much. I have to put in my two cents. We have no complaints. We loved our pizza! We have only been in the area about a year and think it's one of the better pizzas we have had. We got the supreme and loved every bite! Our leftovers the next day were very good. The pizza here was very tasty and full of toppings. The wait time was very long but its probably because they use a brick oven. I'm not positive but the taste of the pizza was very good and gave that brick oven taste. There wasn't really anyone inside, just a couple people yet the stools and table was dirty. First off, these pizzas are like pies. Thick and loaded with toppings with delectable fluffy but firm crust. Pizza here delivers on the flavor and they don't mess around. My Wife and I ordered the garlic chicken pizza. Loaded with garlic, LOADED. Taking the name of the pizza and literally making it what you would expect, so don't make any choice lightly. We wanted to order a second pizza of a different flavor just because we were so excited to taste what else they got. Simply a delight for the taste buds. I called the eagle location right at 11:00 there opening time. I wanted to order some pizzas for my coworkers at a neighboring restaurant. The kid on the phone knew exactly where I wanted the delivery. You can see both locations from the parking lot. This kid refused my order because I didn't know the exact address. I was at home on my day off and wanted to treat coworkers to a meal because we had such a busy weekend no one had time to eat. This guy on the phone flat out refused my order because I didn't have the exact address to a place he can see from the parking lot! Is this where customer service has gone? In town and saw this place, so we gave it a try. We had the chili n lime pizza. The black bean sauce was good, however I'm very picky about chicken on my pizza and i wasn't very fond of the chicken so I picked it off. I wish I had the appetite to try other things on the menu! Yes to this place! Their sourdough crust is amazing. I usually go GF but can sub sourdough, and it's worth it! I also love that you have multiple size options. Had our son drive to get us Flying Pie cuz they are usually the best. Very disappointed! My son ordered me the pesto artichoke on sourdough. I didn't taste or see any artichokes on it or any flavor of sourdough. The crust was so dried out and burnt, all I could taste was burnt flavor and the crust consistency was like dried cornmeal. I don't eat pizza often so when I do, I look forward to it being good. It ruined my night. The boys meat pizza turned out good but that crust too was a bit overdone. read more

Place has kinda gone to shit, used to be some of the best pizza in boise. Now I ordered it and had a 40 minute wait time to then show up on time and wait over 20 minutes to get my to go order. Then I get it and the pizza is not what it used to be. Thing is completely covered and I mean completely covered in feta.to the point where that's all I can taste and the sourdough crust is hard and chewy. Best pizza in the valley, not greasy, and always fresh. They are way to stick on their delivery area, they have told me it is 4 miles . I live 3.8 miles from the location and they will not deliver to me saying that with lights and traffic it would be over the time limit they give for 4 miles... that sucks, I eat out 1-2 days and they do not get more business from me because of this. read more

As ALWAYS, this pizza experience was nothing short of amazing. Normally, I prefer to dine in a physical FP location as it's the most fun pizza-consuming atmosphere you could possibly imagine. Sadly, I didn't have the time to do that today. But the delivery was swift and the pizza delivered delicious. The Garlic Chicken on Sourdough is not only the best chicken pizza I've ever had but one of the best pizzas I've ever had in general (I lived in Southern Italy for a couple years so that's the highest pizza praise I know how to offer). To all who read this, treat yourself to some high quality pizza and visit your nearest FP location as soon as humanly possible. If you love pizza, you certainly won't regret it. read more

I rarely write negative reviews, but.... We just spent $49 on two medium pizzas and had them delivered. The driver got lost and by the time he finally dropped our pizzas off they were cold, rubbery and soggy. Both my husband and I have been trying to call Flying Pie for the past 15 minutes and their phone lines Just keep hanging up on us. Don't bother wasting your money on this crap. I never leave this place comfortably because I always over eat. All of their pizzas are unique and delicous. I typically order a pizza and the salad bar. The only time I'm picky is during habanero season when I have to get the triple habanero. I have several friends that I come with and we sit in pain and while we gorge on this delicous pie.
