This is located in the basement of NK…read more They have a great selection (I believe they say 100) of not only tea but also coffee (beans or grind on demand) and chocolate and pralines. The girl behind the counter was very helpful and let me smell teas and coffee beans until I could decide. It is a bit pricier than other "ordinary" tea & coffee shops on a less fancy location. Maybe it is me, but I get a good (upscale) feeling buying my tea here once in a while. "Everyday luxury". They don't accept AMEX. (None of the little stand alone shops at NK does)

I got the 5-item (129 SEK), which comes with a small bowl of soup and slice of bread. The food was reasonably tasty but not particularly plentiful -- not great value for the rather small portion you get. Decent place but just mediocre food and you will be hungry a couple hours later if you're more than a small eater. Okay spot.

It doesn't look like much from the inside but it's inside is filled with many different vendors and purveyors of meats, produce, and an array of grocery items. Good thing they had items on display since I didn't know what the Swedish words were for the food items. It's a bustling market and it's where the locals go to buy their ingredients for the day or next day. I don't see huge shopping carts in these parts like at home. Meat and veggies look the same here in the market, so easy to distinguish what you are buying. Many Swedes do speak English and probably better than I would be attempting to speak any lick of Swedish I have learned from my expat friends in Germany.

I like to go grocery shopping at Lidl, just to find the right brands at bargain deals!…read more At Lidl they offer both well known brands and low price/budget alternatives. When buying low price brands - be prepare it doesn't taste or work well. It DOES NOT always have to be bad though. Sweets and sodas seems to be the lows. And I never buy unknown brands of these! As every Lidl it looks like a warehouse but this place is pretty organized. This specific store is rather small so the supply is just for the basics.

They have a nice deli, speciality food and lots of uncommon food (edible items) from other countries. (Sounds lame I know). They are indeed pricey - considering the location and selection I am not surprised. But if you are feeling spendy and in the mood for luxury food - go here! They have a fast check out cashier where you pay either cash (not sure?) or card. No need to be a member or registered for this. They accept AMEX.
