The environment and staff are important when dealing with such sensitive care, so I was concerned when I noticed that Hollis Clark never wore gloves or washed his hands during infusions. I raised this issue with Ashley and even informed the owner, Mikal Bailey, worried about potential health risks for patients. What followed was disappointing and unexpected. After sharing my concerns, I received a letter in March 2026 informing me that I would no longer be able to continue treatment at Stillwater Health. For someone relying on this care to maintain mental health, this felt unprofessional and harsh, especially since my intention was to ensure safer practices for everyone. It left me feeling unsupported at a crucial time. Marla has a special way of not making you feel judged as you share your reason to be there. I have also found through experience that if you cannot truly be completely honest with your counselor no amount of counseling will help. With Marla I can be honest which can be hard when you have to share yourself not in the best light sometimes. I feel safe in opening up with Marla and know that she absolutely has my best interests at heart. You leave her office feeling cared for but also feeling accomplished that you are working on yourself & knocking out your problems. I have made great strides by having the help of Marla in my life. Marla Stamm is the most irresponsible, selfish, unprofessional therapist I've ever had the…read moremisfortune to encounter. Her sessions were full of her talking about herself, but more importantly... She billed insurance incorrectly (I had full coverage at the time), told me it was her fault and she'd fix it (it was her fault, she entered the wrong ID), then she canceled my appointments and I didn't hear from her again for three years. ...until I received a debt collection notice. She never called, emailed, or sent a letter/statement/bill. I've called insurance, confirmed I had coverage, confirmed that the EOB from Marla had the wrong ID, and insurance contacted the debt collection agency AND Marla. TWENTY DAYS LATER and I receive another debt collection notice. If you have any health issues, Marla will make them worse. She is simply untrustworthy. Don't waste your time with her; there are a lot of other wonderful mental health experts in the region.

I saw the remark about burnt out. Considering that God is going to celebrate 1 over 99, the staff could help save a life a day with proper community support. Not saying they don't get that already, however, i could see the signs of despair. The level of happiness is mondane masks over true satisfaction. Sure, everyone knew the field they chose was challenging. At the same time, no 2 situations are the same so why not care boxes for the staff. Just thinking out loud...
