I've had an account with FNB for almost 20 years now. They are a conservative, locally-owned bank that started in Midwest City. Over the years they have added locations in Del City, Choctaw and Moore. This Moore location is the newest and nicest location of all their branches. The fact that this location is just down the street from my house is also a plus. If you need a bank, you should check them out! read more

would not recommend. 700+ credit score and high interest. random charges. Had 5 figures in this bank and was charged $9 for no reason. Asked to get it waived they said no. It's the principle read more

We have had an account here for hmmm 40+ years. We opened the account here when we were transferred to Tinker AFB from an east coast base in mid 1970's. It was like we went from impersonal to personal overnight! The way they greet and treat you still makes one think of a "small community" establishment. Yes, we have accounts at other banks in this area but neither of the other two offer the service that FNB does. Just recently I went from "we to I" and FNB has been supportive and sensitive to my loss. FNB cashes the checks and the amount shows up in my account instantly (even with large amounts) I can write checks on that amount the same day. Whereas on the other banks, the monies are held --up to several days before the amount is credited to the account and checks written against that amount . Service with a smile and friendly atmosphere is really a plus factor. Highly recommend! read more

History

Established in 1943.

The Croak family purchased the American State Bank, originally chartered in 1943, in April of 1954. The American State Bank underwent a name change in June of 1962 when the name First National Bank of Midwest City was adopted. First Midwest Bancorp, Inc. organized as a holding company in 1981 and was the sole owner of all bank stock. The name changed again in 1998 when the "of Midwest City" was dropped to reflect our expanding presence in Eastern Oklahoma County. First Midwest Acquisition Corp. was formed in April of 2002 and is the current bank holding company. On December 31, 2012 the bank will continue its growth with a conversion back to a State Chartered institution proudly named FNB Community Bank. FNB Community Bank prides itself as being known as a traditional community bank where our business philosophy "Oklahomans doing business with Oklahomans" is proved out every day.

Meet the Manager: Jeff A.

Jeff Arvin joined FNB Community Bank as Vice President/Commercial Banking Officer in March 2007. He has 25 years experience in all aspects of banking, as well as experience as a small business owner. Jeff is the Manager of FNB Community Bank's Moore Branch and is actively involved in the Moore community, where he lives. He is the Vice-Chairman of the board of Moore Youth and Family Services as well as Vice-Chairman of the board of Crime Stoppers of Moore. He has served on the Parks Board for the City of Moore for 20 years and is an active member of the Moore Rotary Club.
