When I first walked in, the receptionist was there and was talking to someone else and failed to say anything to me. Being new, I didn't know if i was suppose to check in or not or what to do. But after standing there and still being ignored. I finally asked and was told sit down. The waxer came out and just asked if it was me, and just walked off assuming I knew to follow her. Didn't say a word to me the entire time. Didn't ask how I liked my brows or anything. She did an ok job cleaning up my stray hairs and getting the job done. So that's why I'm giving it a 3 instead of a 2. Not trying to be mean toward the business in any way, I just wanted to give an honest account of my experience there to anyone who is looking for waxing.

I had a deeply disappointing experience with Oro Salon, specifically with Kristina. When I booked…read moremy bridal hair trial, I clearly stated I needed appointments for myself, my mother, and my mother-in-law, but she only booked two of us, making me feel at fault. I looked at the messages to confirm 3 people were booked. During the appointment, kristina left several times to attend other clients, which was frustrating, especially for a bridal trial that dosent require any pauses to let thing "set" so styling my hair took longer than necessary. I did not feel like a priority during my appointment, which is extremely frustrating and concerning as this was an appointment for my bridal hair. I showed her a photo of a sleek, small bun and made it very clear that I wanted something small simplistic and pulled back as I don't like anything large.(see photo 1) The result was extremely disappointing as it was a large, messy style bun. (see photo 2-4) When I brought this up she said my hair was the issue but only after she had already done the wrong style. I was very open to cutting my hair if needed and gave many opportunities during the appointment to set my expectation that we won't be able to achieve the hairstyle that I was hoping to achieve. I did also let her know the reason I was here today was because I had my bridal shower that evening and wanted to have my hair done for that. After a second attempt for my hair, it was closer to what I wanted, but still not right. By the time I drove home (just 20 minutes), the second hairstyle was already falling apart so much so I ended up having to wash my hair and redo it for my evening event. (see photo 5-7) In addition, my mother and mother-in-law were also unhappy with their styles. After emailing my concerns and giving her a better understanding of why I no longer felt comfortable or confident proceeding with her services, and requesting a refund not of the work she did but just the deposit for the wedding hair (especially given the ample time before my wedding), she refused a refund and only offered a partial gift card that had so many restrictions including: non-transferable, only toward salon services, expiring December 2026. Overall, this salon was poorly managed, unprofessional, had poor communication and an inability to follow client inspiration. I would not recommend them for bridal or any services.

Had a bad experience getting my hair cut here. The hairstylist did not know how to trim hair or do…read morelong layers at all. The trimmed hair was completely uneven and she gave me bangs when I specifically asked for no bangs. I stopped the appointment as soon as that happened. My hair was also washed with just water and not shampoo or conditioner. I had to go to UBU hair salon to have it fixed the next day and UBU did an amazing job and were shocked at what the hairstylist at Style Lounge had done.
