Aaron was very thoughtful and communicative about keeping my massage at the right pressure for me while maintaining a friendly and modest environment that really was disarming. My hubby and I are from CA and were in town on business. It was our first trip to Chattanooga, and we saw a Groupon for a couples massage here and decided to try it. We were greeted by Samantha at the reception area and she was very friendly and asked us about our stay in TN. We had filled out our intake forms online so there was very little to do up front other than redeem the Groupon. She asked about our preferences for male/female therapists, and introduced my husband to Lance, while letting me know she'd be my therapist for the session. Reading some of the other reviews indicating that this wasn't a salon left me expecting a very clinical type setting but we were pleasantly surprised to find things we typically see when getting a massage back home.....private room (with two beds being that it was a couples massage), dimmed lighting, light music, the sound of a babbling brook, etc. Samantha turned the bed heater on for me (I'm always cold) and they both asked about our problem areas and preferences on pressure. I was very happy with Samantha. She did a good blend of relaxing vs. deep tissue when it came to the knots in my neck and shoulders. Touched about the general areas of a full body massage but spent the most time there. My husband indicates that this is the best massage he's ever had, and was very impressed by Lance and his ability to really work out the problem areas in his back. We've had a lot of massages so this is saying a lot! Overall we were very happy with the service we received here. My step daughter had a massage here and then stopped by our house. After hearing about her experience I wanted to try them. I was able to get a quick appointment which is always a good thing. I had a 90 minute massage that was wonderful and got a great discount. If I go back within 45 days it costs the same which is a great deal. They also have an hour deal too. Poor poor customer service. Staff have uncaring attitude. App is horrible. It will auto book you if your date is not available, you must be very observant to notice it, don't book while you are in a hurry or distracted! I loved my massages before but now that I'm pregnant I have to go every other week and Focus makes it affordable as well as an awesome experience! They also have an amazing pregnancy massage pillow that supports the belly and I can lay face down on it to get a better massage (yay!). No time management for one hr massage we came10 minutes early still they gave paperwork at 1.15 which took few minutes only but so slow the appointment was 1.15 they started massage at 1.30 and were out at 2.15 because he had next appointment and can't be late.At least finish one appointment properly.It is a matter of Ethics and racial discrimination . Paid full price asked for one hr but will never go back to him.My advise go very early or you won't get your money worth.Bad experience for my dad. Received a massage from John and it was fabulous! He is so good at addressing areas of pain and discomfort with firm pressure that is not too deep and allows the muscles to respond to the work without fighting against him. A few times the pressure was uncomfortable and as soon as I spoke up he adjusted it. A perfect massage and I left feeling better than when I came in. Thank you!! This was my second visit. The first visit was okay but I didn't get as deep of a massage as I had hoped. This time I am having some severe pain and decided to go for a deep-tissue massage. When I got there they had no record of my appointment, which I am sure was something that I had done wrong. They had an available appointment in 10 minutes which they offered and I took. I explained my problem and said that I wanted that particular area given the most attention. I had a great massage, but all body parts given equal massages. When I went to pay, I was told it would be $82 with my teacher's discount. The price on line was $59. I am very disappointed that I was way over charged for the deep-tissue massage that I had the appointment for. Will not go back because of this. read more

I bought this couples massage from Groupon and the place isn't linked to them so you can't book the appt easily. It took over 20 min and I had to download their app from the play store to finally do it since they charge $3 extra to book via phone. I got there and was immediately concerned by the cheap appearance of the building and staff. Went in hoping for better but experienced the oddest massage EVER and not in a good way. Seemed as though they were learning as they go but had never been taught proper technique. My husband left in pain and I was still sore after I left. We even told them "ow. That doesn't feel good " but they continue and don't try other things so I'm guessing they're just too inexperienced to know how to compensate. They don't know where pressure points are or how to work on them and the traffic was so loud that u can't fully relax. Even their music was stressful instead of calming. 1st time Groupon ever failed me but i sure wont be going back! read more

This was the best massage experience I have ever had. This is a really good place and is in a convenient location, with great office hours. Kelli is the best, she is an excellent therapist and was very attentive to my concerns. I will definitely be making this part of my monthly routine. I walked out very relaxed and feeling very good. There was no pressure to sign a contract of any kind, I was told of the pricing scale if I were to come back within a certain time frame to get a better price. The normal price is really reasonable. Heard many good things about this place so tried it out also...the massage technique was decent, however the therapist seemed overworked (as in seeming to have to rush from 1 client to the next without adequate time to regroup and focus on preparing for the next client coming in) and a bit disorganized.
