I had an appointment to have my vehicle serviced (oil change and tire rotation) on March 4, 2024. My appointment time was for 7: 30 am as I told them I would be waiting for my vehicle. The week prior when I called to make my appointment I informed them my employer (State of California) has a service contract with them to service our vehicles. I provided my vehicle information and advised them they would likely need to order the oil filer as my vehicle is a Kia and not a Chevrolet. They assured me they would have it available for my appointment. The day of my appointment, I was directed to a service adviser by the name of Chyna. As she is checking me in she tells me they don't have the filter in stock and they will need to go across the street to the Kia dealership and get on. Told me it would be take approximately 45 minutes. I also advised Chyna that my front left tire was losing pressure every 3-4 days. She assured me they would look at it. Two and a half hours later I still see my vehicle in the parking lot, not haven't been worked on yet so I ask Chyna for the status of my vehicle. She told me the part had just arrived and she had just assigned a technician to it. My vehicle was finally completed at 11:15 am, almost 4 hours later for a simple oil change and tire rotation. Oh and by the way, my left front tire was never addressed as it continues to lose pressure. This is not the first time I have experienced issues with their service department, if it was up to me I would never return, unfortunately I have to because my employer continues to use them for service. read more

Had a great experience with buying my truck in 2020 and then with a service on my Corvette. BUT today was awful. The service tech told me at 1030am that it should take about 2.5 hours to service my brakes. She said if I waited at the dealership then the truck should be ready in 3 hours but if I left the dealership then it would be ready in the late afternoon. So I confirmed, "I have to sit here for 3 hours if I want the truck serviced now?" She said yes. So I got the manager involved and he told me that wasn't the policy. She apologized but said if I had told her I wanted to go get lunch then she would have let me go. It was ridiculous, the tech and manager were terrible. And a $450 front brake service costed $708. Oh! And the truck was supposed to be ready by 2pm; got it back at 4pm. That was my last visit to Folsom Chevrolet. I had a great convo with Brakemasters on the way home. read more

I've been using this location regularly for oil changes since I had a stroke in 2019 and am not able to turn a wrench like I used to. I also use them for repairs covered under an extended warranty I purchased. I found it convenient and the service links to our OnStar account. I have been dealing with Jonathan every time I drop off my vehicle and he is great. This time, I was being helped by Tifny Moreno. I brought my vehicle in at 9am and she stated they'd need it overnight for and oil change and brake service. No problem, we didn't need it that night. So she calls to tell me my brakes would be $1627.94. I've never heard brakes costing so high in my life, because I've always done them myself and figured a shop would gouge us for around $700. She also quoted some other garbage repairs for around 2 grand. Anyway, she gave me a phone number to text as well as an email contact. I used both the next day asking for an ETA. After an hour of no responses, I called and asked. She said they're wrapping it up and she was just about to call me. She'd call in a little bit to pick it up. After another hour my wife called and asked for an ETA and was told it was ready to pick up. When we arrived, Tifny hadn't turned in the paperwork to the service counter yet. My ETA inquiry started at 10am. She turned in the paperwork at 4pm. I feel scammed and lied to, which sucks because I liked this location and the previous services received. I think it's time to move on and look elsewhere for my future Chevrolet needs. read more

I receive alerts via onstar which keeps me up to date on my vehicle status. It's honestly ridiculous. I needed tire replacements. Definitely enough for me to never return and would not recommend. They are responsive and knowledgeable. They know about Electric Vehicles -- which many dealerships and other repair shops actually do not. And they keep track of what my vehicle in particular needs. Jonathan is an excellent service advisor. He is efficient, attentive, friendly, and smart. David is an excellent mechanic. I am so fortunate that my Bolt has found someone so knowledgeable. Do not buy a vehicle from here. I was sold a truck with bad lifters. They made a bad attempt at fixing the truck by taking it back but wouldn't fix the truck because they would have lost money But they sold the truck to me bad So fixing it would have been the solution. I would have got an extended warranty but the fast talking Gentlemen that Handles the signing of the paperwork paperwork told me that he would not negotiate the price of the extended warranty and to take it or leave it. Any other dealership We'll always negotiate the price of the extended warranty and we wouldn't be in this situation. It would have costed them about $3 to 4k at most to fix the truck motor at cost. offer me a free extended warranty or a discounted extended warranty so we can get the truck fixed. Offer something else other than just taking the truck that had everything i needed. I was told by The general manager by the name of BK that he would give me a discount on a vehicle that was close to the vehicle that I had. But instead I was shown vehicles that were nowhere near the vehicle that I had and they did not offer any sufficient discount like he implied. Offered 1,000 off. When i spoke Directly to the owner his 1st words at his mouth were both were good as though the service I received was good service. It was a half attempt at fixing the situation. they also cannot remove the 2 inquiries on my credit and the 300 i invested in the truck was not Reimbursed. a friend of mine told me to do not buy a vehicle from this place of business because they sold him a bad ve hicle just a year prior but I didn't listen. read more

I recently was in the market for a new car and after being totally screwed over at Roseville Toyota, I happened to see the 2022 Chevy Trailblazer for sale at Folsom Chevrolet.. It intrigued me as I liked the color & its styling I made contact with the sales person Christina Lund who treated me with honesty and respect from the get go. I viewed the car on a Saturday and things went well until I had to speak to the sales manager, who seriously needs to polish up on his people skills. No one likes being talked down to and it blew the deal. I stopped the transaction and left ..... however Christina got back in touch with me that evening and we ended up making the deal after all. The overall rate of the experience there was great and would recommend them to anyone looking for a new car. This review reflects the customer service experience I had with the service department. M If you want horrible customer service, then this is the place for you!!! My Volt had 2 repair issues that needed to be looked at. Brought my car in for service and it was the worst experience!!! The advisor called me but didn't leave a voicemail message. I called back and the service advisor assistant was useless. She told me my car was ready but didn't tell me if anything had been done. Later that day, I go and pick it up and there's no advisors in sight. I ask her what they found and she didn't know. I then get my car and to my surprise, there's a lot of grease stains on the visor and overhead compartment (see photos). Is this how you return customers vehicles. I then called the next day to speak to service mgr Joe and all he tells me is that he's sorry and apologizes. He tells me that a new appt will be set up and that my vehicle will be cleaned when I bring it in. He also tells me a loaner vehicle will be available for me. A few days later, the service advisor assistant calls and tells me that my vehicle is ready. I tell her I already have it. She doesn't even know why she called me. I asked her if she was calling me in regards to a part that was ordered and she then puts me on hold as she finds the advisor. She then gets back on the phone and tells me the advisor is not available (how convenient). I then call Joe again and he doesn't return my call. Second time (9/22) I bring in the vehicle and it's the worst again. The female advisor was somewhat helpful but that's it. I check in with her an explained to her that I'm still having the same issues. She gets technician David and I explain to him what's going on. I told him the brakes still make noise and he acts like he doesn't care. He then goes on to say that my car has "No brakes!" How so? All vehicles have brakes. I then tell him to go with me for a test drive to hear the noises and he told me no. Later that day, I pick up my car and of course nothing is done. Maybe the part was replaced but who knows. I reviewed the service order and it still had my original mileage of when I brought it in the first time. I asked the female advisor why she didn't input the current mileage and she didn't have an answer. That goes to show laziness. How am I supposed to know if my car was even driven or looked at? New repair orders should have current info and not old info. There's no accountability here and it seems like everyone just does what they want. I've been a loyal customer here and this was a complete let down. I still have the same issues in my car and it's obvious they don't care. If they promise you something, most likely they will do the opposite. I dont think I'll bring my car here anymore. read more

I purchased a 2013 Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport 4LT for approximately 50k and warranty for another 6k from this dealer and after 3 weeks (driven 4 times) the electrical system goes out and the front lights does turn off. Now I have the car battery disconnected because that is the only way front lights turn off. I contact the dealer to get this fixed at another dealer and was told I had to drive it all the way to Folsom which is 2 hours away from my residence. Otherwise, I was told to pay the the deductible ($200) using the warranty to get it fixed. Finance manager told me it wasn't their fault I lived 2 hours away. Can you believe that?? They sold me the car and do not have the courtesy assist their customer to fix the defect of the car they sold me closer than their Folsom shop (2 hours away). I would have known this was their type of service I would not have purchased from this dealer nor would I have bought a Chevrolet. Lesson learned. Do not buy from this dealer if you expect good customer service. You won't get it!! read more

Service Review: I had a great experience here. Brought my 2015 Cruze in for a burning oil smell from the engine. Got assigned Steve for a service advisor who was on point. He was very nice, respectful, and always had good communication (which is rare!). The tech who worked on my car, Randy, appears to have treated the vehicle like his own by putting the upmost care into it. It wasn't just an oil change, the man had to take apart and put back together half of the engine... and it came out looking and functioning great. If your within a reasonable drive to here, I would definitely say this is the best Chevy service dealer in a 50 mile range. Highly recommended! read more

Do not buy from Folsom Chevy! I bought a Chevy Bolt EUV on September 9, 2022. Jake was our salesman. The process was easy. On September 18th the low tire pressure warning light came on. I drove to a tire shop. They said that there was a hole in the sidewall of the tire and had to be replaced. I paid $171 for a new tire. The original tire had 860 miles. The next day I took the original tire to Folsom Chevy and asked to be reimbursed. Folsom Chevy would not honor the warranty of the tire that had 860 miles on it. read more
