We ordered a cazuela de borrego for 5 and a while chicken and it was more than enough, portions are huge. It was 10 of us and we all ate well and even took some to go. Flavor of the borrego is amazing, I've eaten borrego but there's always an after taste. Here the borrego is cooked to perfection. Definitely a must try while in Tapalpa.

The goat is fattier and softer to savor. The Birria is served in two sizes, small and large. Go for the large as it is not that large. If you don't want a bowl of Birria and want tacos, they can do that as well. Kindly remember that the tacos are not street tacos, so ordering 7 is way overboard.
