We were the only people in there besides one person in the front on their computer. We sat in the back, outdoor space. It was lovely and peaceful, and we were so tired. The food came out immediately after we ordered and it had a stunning presentation, but the taste was even more stunning! I'm from NYC, we eat out a lot and we know good food. We're picky, new restaurants open and close every day in NYC. Mar a Vila should be in NYC!! Or at least they should open a location there or in Brooklyn. They definitely need to open more locations somewhere. This food is too good to be kept on such a tiny island, away from so many people! Well, at the end of our meal, Patricia, cleared our plates and then just let us sit. She never made us feel like we needed to leave. A tomato, some potatoes, some vegetables. I also saw a lot of people order a hot stone steak. Where they come out with raw steak and it's cooked at the table on a hot stone. In any case, my bread, olives, aioli, and mussels were all great. They have many fish possibilities if you're there with a larger party - I'm sure it would be delicious. In all, I'd visit this restaurant again for sure.
