There are several things not just one that I would like to make a difference on, one being to help house the homeless and find therapist to donate their time to help with their mental wellbeing, two would be to help our veterans find housing and affordable health care for them & help them integrate back into society, three to help bring a cure for cancer for both adults and especially Children. I can go on & on. I was greeted with respect and support from the staff here & the producer's meet me as I was headed to my dressing room and filled me in on the do's & don't during the interview and gave me a heads up on the questions that would be asked & I informed them that my personal life is off limits. I ran into G4 quite by accident on my cable system and was intrigued that something so ridiculously…read moreamateurish could actually be bankrolled by Comcast and gain an actual channel listing, not to mention funding. G4 is/was (mercifully killed last month by Comcast) a cable channel for gamers offering opinion and insight into the new hardware and software of the moment. This was an offering full of digital earnestness as the male hosts were all bald with thick rimmed glasses (a classic techno-geek tell) and the women were all very loud goths. There are high school AV squads who would never tolerate such stereotyping and unprofessionalism. Audiences were intolerant as well as the channel was habitually mired in last place among the 200+ channels measured by Nielsen drawing 1,000 viewers per hour in prime time. There were probably three times as many viewers watching Romanian table tennis over on the Olympic Channel. I don't believe in euthanasia but Comcast definitely made the right call. Gaming holds no interest for me but I suspect that if you're into Call of Duty inspired slaughter and bloodlust you'd much rather do it than watch three bald idiots talk about it. I'll always be a fan of "what were they thinking" absurdity but you really have to question Comcast's professional judgment for greenlighting this digital roadkill. One anonymous star.

You done yet? No? Okay, I'll give you another minute. ... Alright. Now that you got that out of the way, I can start my review. I'm a gamer, I like tech gadgets even though I can't afford it, so naturally I love G4. In fact, it's the station I watch the most lately. I used to watch a lot of animal planet, food network, and cartoon network, but G4 has taken over. Now, I don't love EVERYTHING about G4. Some of the shows I like: - Cinematech: Nocturnal Emissions. A show that showcases clips from various video games. A heavier, more adult oriented version of cinematech. - Attack of the show. A talk show (?) that gives you news and updates about pop culture, video games and technology. A little secret; I like staring at Olivia Munn's boobs. They're so nice, I can't help it. - X-Play. A video game review show. I love Morgan and her witty humor. Sessler? Not so much. His voice kinda annoys me. - Ninja Warrior a.k.a. Sasuke. A Japanese obstacle course competition show, kinda like American Gladiator, but better. Competitors range from bulky musclemen to adult video model to 80 year old grampa. - Special coverage shows such as Tokyo Game Show coverage and E3 coverage. - Wired for sex. Interesting and somewhat educational. It's a documentary after all. Shows I don't give a shit about: - Code Monkeys. An animated cartoon comedy using 8 bit graphics. NOT FUNNY. Stupid, sexist, racist, and just overall not funny. - COPS. Do we really need another station showing this show? - Cheaters. See COPS. - Star Trek. My fiance loves it. I hate it. It kinda balances out. - Arrested Development. Never cared about this show. - Cheat. Not to be confused with cheaters. A show that gives you cheats for video games. Who needs it when you have gamefaqs.com?? This show is stupid. But Kristin Holt needs a job, I guess. - Street Fury. Ugh. The host reminds me of snoop dogg. Good to watch if you're into asian chicks. - Some other stuff I really don't care about so I can't even remember their names. So there you have it, my review of my current favorite TV station. I snagged free tickets for myself and my friend for the Bill Maher taping. I was so excited! It was…read morereally all word of mouth. I filled out a form online and a week later someone called me saying they still had room and tickets. So we showed up, went through security just using my name as the magic word, and got in! Low and behold they take your phones before you go in. Cue devastation. But I just ended up chatting with my friend and taking it all in, trying to ignore my empty pocket and hand. You have to think so much more and harder without your phone! Anyway, we were picked to get the best seats in the house and be the most excited fans to scream and clap and laugh for Bill. So middle center was ours!! After a brief wait and some pumping up from the head senior writer, who was a pure riot btw, we watched a quick montage of what the show was about and past clips and testimonials of how real he is. Then finally the show started! Special guest was Martin Short who is an amazing 69-year-old comedic gem. Loved him! Bill was hilarious as usual and the guests were thought provoking and provocative. Episode 299 I believe? Go watch it and look for me screaming!

What a nice 180 it was when I came to the Late Late Show with James Corden and was greeted with smiles and good attitudes from all the CBS security and employees. I was joking with the staff on the way in and they were joking right back. The show was fun, and nobody tried to block me from using the bathroom upon exiting the show. What a concept!

It's the same two major news stories all day, little if any local news, also repeated all day long, so be prepared to turn it off if you're gonna be in the car more than an hour. Between depressing & repetitive commercials (based on this alone I will never buy California Windows or GPS replacement teeth). & traffic there's little time left for any informative news. Not to mention, a pro Trump slant has unsurprisingly made its way into the broadcast., just like CBS News & soon to be CNN. It's a joke. Today CBS announced layoffs & closing down CBS Radio. Unprofitable. What a surprise.
