I asked the young man behind the counter, what steaks had the best marbling that day. He suggested the strip loins / NY Strip. This is not a cut I usually buy, but they did look GOOD. So I picked out a couple, and also a couple tenderloins, because they looked like they had a bit of marbling. Hubby grilled them up the next day and we were amazed at the tenderness and flavour of all the steaks but especially the NY Strips. Absolutely the best steak we have ever had at home. In fact, better than most steaks we have had at restaurants! I have always been a fan of small businesses, and Happy Mango has the heart, quality and customer service that makes for loyal customers. Even though it's a 30 minute drive, no question, I will be making the drive to Happy Mango any time we want steak, and the bonus is we get roti for lunch that day!
