Very LARGE store! Masks worn by workers and required. It's clean and safe.Great music playing! They have it all and more! Great deals too! I came here to get ham and they have many options. Of course, bought more. Sugar free dulce de leche puddings too! Then went to checkout. The worker was kind and wished me a good day. Good service and store! Recommended!

This store has a 24 hour sign on it but when I go to it it says it's closed. Such a shame on the staff.

The store states it's 24 hour open but when I go to the doors they claim to be closed. The workers are just talking back and forth as I make the walk of shame back to my vehicle. I left My house to come here since is was a 24/hr store. I won't be coming here again if those same employees are here.

There's always something different when I come to this Food Maxx. Today, I noticed an assortment of Mexican sweet bread and bakery items for sale and the bakery is now able to print your photo on your cake. We came in today looking for last minute dinner ideas for a party that was being hosted at our house impromptu. God bless these guys for being open 24/7 on Turkey Day. We were able to find 2 rotisserie chickens, gravy, mashed potatoes, and Texas Toast. The total was about $20 and we had enough food to feed the entire family plus seconds. Since this is a mass discount grocery store, you don't get the luxury of having your groceries bagged for you so you end up bagging them yourself but it's a small price to pay for awesome deals.

    Disgusting.

There meat department has gotten to be the worst I've seen at any food maxx. Meat is all dark, looks like it's on the edge of expiration. Packages ripped open, just nasty.

Cup o soup They no longer sell flats at the $3. they want to double their money selling singles like the liquor stores .... Gouging ???

Price gouging They wont sell flats anymore and keep them in back only setting a few out so they can sell singles like the Liquor stores and more than double their money off the consumer... i hope Karma hits them hard..

From the moment you walk in, there is a sense that baking here is not just a craft -- it is an art form. There is something magical about stepping into a French bakery, and Parisien Bakery delivers that feeling in full. The French have elevated baking into a cultural experience of indulgence and beauty, and it is on proud display here. Approach the glass case, and it feels like browsing a gallery of edible masterpieces: pastel-colored macarons stacked like delicate jewels, glossy fruit tarts shimmering under the lights, and éclairs lined up with precise elegance, each filled with silky, decadent cream. Sweet Highlights The sweet selections are where Parisien truly shines. Standouts include: Sweet crêpes Éclairs Macarons Croissants Maple cronut Fruit tarts Turnovers Each item showcases careful craftsmanship, balanced sweetness, and visual presentation that rivals high-end patisseries. Their French Roast coffee is bold, robust, full-flavored, and always piping hot -- the perfect companion to any pastry. Savory Options On the savory side, the breakfast sandwiches, omelet croissants, breakfast popper, and the Parisien sandwich are all solid and satisfying choices. While well-prepared, they do not quite reach the same magical heights as the sweet offerings. The croque monsieur and croque madame are especially intriguing and worth trying on a future visit. Atmosphere & Experience The ambiance is cozy and charming, laid out to be reminiscent of a sidewalk café in Paris. With both indoor and outdoor seating -- including street-side dining -- it is an inviting place to linger. A glassed-in kitchen allows guests to watch pastries being crafted in real time, adding a layer of authenticity and appreciation for the skill behind each creation. Warm, friendly service rounds out the experience, making it easy to see why this bakery remains a local favorite. Parisien Bakery is not just a place to grab breakfast or dessert -- it is a small escape into French culinary artistry right in the heart of Old Town Clovis.

The coffee here isn't as flavorful as Chez Maryse either but I did like that there's more vegetarian options, the prices are decent, and food not too greasy. But it's still a decent place for brunch while exploring Downtown Clovis and just across the street from the most bomb antique shop :)

My dad made these for me as a kid and anytime I see them in the wild, I have to try it. The bierocks made were just ok. The pastry is great, but the filling was a little bland and way too heavy on the cabbage. But what the bierocks lacked, the donuts made up for by a million! We ordered a cruller, maple, glazed, old-fashioned, a glazed twist, and a chocolate cake doughnut. Just based off our order, you can tell there were no children with us, lol. The cruller donut was perfection. Airy and super soft with it almost melting in your mouth before the first bite. The old-fashioned donut (which are my favorite) was incredible! It was surprisingly light, for a cake doughnut, and had a thick layer of maple glaze. I think the layer was about an eighth of an inch, which for icing is bonkers. Even Peter North himself would be humbled by this glazing technique. Is this the most unassuming donut shop in all of the land? Maybe not the land, but at least in Clovis. Live in the area and love donuts? Get here now!

Looks like a traditional Chinese bakery with their decor and set up and heard the front counter lady say their food is more based on the south side of China. Their steam pork buns will always be a favorite. I was lucky enough to walk in when they brought out a fresh new batch so it was still nice and warm when I got home. Dough is sweet and fluffy with their bbq pork filling. For 3.00 a bun, it was quite smaller than I remember. The ratio of the dough and filling was also not as portioned. Some bites you just get the dough. First time having their steam chicken buns and was surprised to see that it was sliced chicken with veggies and a slice boiled egg. This was not it for me. It was like eating a stir fry in a bun. Though this bun was bigger and more portioned than the steam pork buns. This was also my first time trying their Shumai dumplings. The flavor was there. A nice umami flavor. But I was missing the bouncy texture of the meat. And for 4 for 7.00 they were pretty small (compared to the dim sum places). Looking forward to trying other others on their menu now that the menu and signs are easier to see/read.

The restaurant was extremely busy, so I do recommend making reservations ahead of time. The service could have been a little better, but considering how packed it was, it felt more overwhelmed than rude. One thing to know ahead of time: Diet Cokes come in cans, not fountain drinks, so there are no refills. The biggest disappointment for us was the limited menu selection that day. There were mostly sandwiches and not a lot of variety. I ordered the quiche, which ended up needing extra sauces on the side because it felt a little plain on its own. My husband ordered the French toast, and that was actually very good. Ambiance was alright - a little cramped but the live music gave it a touch of class. Overall, I'd still recommend trying this place, just maybe not on a major holiday when the menu is limited and the restaurant is packed. I'd be willing to give it another shot on a normal weekend because I have a feeling the regular menu probably offers a much better experience.
