That's not so weird, it's weird Medicare then send you a cheque which you need to place in the prepaid envelope and send cheque to the Medical Centre. Apparently it is because you are the account holder of Medicare and you need the cheque to be sent to you first. It's all a bit convoluted to me! Anyway enough of the logistics. This centre is so big there's always plenty of doctors to see you. Having said that it is best to go in the morning, the least busiest, as after 3pm it can get absolutely packed with sickly people. There's the chemist next door so whatever your ailment, they have remedies close by.

Nah but seriously, they don't take appointments, which is good, but bad, because you have no idea how long you'll be waiting around. I'm uses to places offering appointments but with walk in doctors also available, if I wasn't desperate I wouldn't be here. But I'll probs get attended to faster at the RPA ED on college night. **Update** after 1.5 hours waiting still with the latest bunch of screaming children (which I'll point out, were school age) I decided if I was going to die I'd rather do so inn the comfort of my own home rather than in their waiting room. Now at home with a drink, solving all my problems.

Not the best look for a medical centre when the front staff look like they'd prefer you died before they actually had to interact with you. The wait times average 1.5 hours, and the quality of doctors is incredibly variable - you either get a doctor who's incredibly clueless or someone that actually knows what they're doing - but you're more likely to get the former. I've been going to this place for years because it's close by, but I've had enough. What an awful medical centre - never going back.

I went in to get a health check which was required for a personal matter of travel, and he said he would take care of it on the government system instead of requesting me to pay privately, which is what is usually required. The practice is small, and you can't call in to make a reservation, but the waiting room is small, so it can't be more than 3 person wait. He will do call-outs for locals, elderly people, and small children in emergency matters.
