I started going to Dr. Levenstien 5yrs ago, for a right foot problem, plantar fasciitis. After about a year of treatment, I decided to get surgery on the foot. He thoroughly explained the procedure & I spent about 1 month in recovery. The staff was very accommodating & helpful. The surgery went great. About 3 yrs ago, I fell on my left side & twisted my right ankle. I wore a boot for a little over a month & continued treatment thereafter. The ankle healed perfectly. Now I have an Achilles Tendon problem and a pinched nerve. He performed Platelet rich plasma treatment, or PRP therapy. PRP cells (derived from my own blood) are injected into the inflamed area. This significantly helped me and my Achilles tendon feels 100% better. If it wasn't for him I don't think I could've kept my current job. Thanks again Dr. Levenstien. I had an appointment with their toe specialist. Since I don't drive I had to walk for 15 minutes in 23 degree weather! When I got there I was told that doctor was no longer with their practice! They didn't have the courtesy for a call before hand! I am sure if I had missed my appointment I would have been charged for it! We are now just insurance payments to doctors today! After posting the previous review I received a call from the doctors office and received a heartfelt apology and all was straightened out between us! Dr. Levenstein is so knowledgeable and takes the time to explain and show pictures of what you are experiencing and then goes over possible treatments.
