The new building however is huge and now boasts so many more different services to the community. Inside there is the main recpetion where you check into appointments, and a huge waiting area. They is rooms for doctors nurses, triage nurses, childrens rooms where they do injections and a big play area for children. There is a specific desk for prescriptions to. Upstairs is for the dentist, and midwife/health visitors. The whole place is really clean and spacious, and there is so much more room to cater for draytons ever growing population, right outside is a chemist which makes it easier for people to collect prescriptions as soon as they have been to the doctors. The service is always friendly and the staff do there best to help you.

I didn't really care what the nails looked like at this point-anything was better than what I'd been living with for the last 15years! Debra was amazing. Not only did she treat my initial problems of ingrowing and sore nails BUT she offered me the option to have my toe nails rebuilt with gel/UV treatment (not dissimilar to the treatment you can have on your finger nails) and I was amazed at the results. The finished nails look so life like and with a coat of nail polish you really cannot tell the difference! For the first time in over a decade and a half I can wear open toe shoes and not feel embarrassed about my toes and what other would think about them. Not only that but I am pain free! If you have similar issues with your toes/nails then I would definitely recommend booking an appointment with Debra or a member of her team-I promise it might seem like a small thing-but it will change your life! I use the facilities regularly and the staff are all extremely efficient, friendly and helpful. For new mums can I recommend the postnatal groups and Baby Cafe all very helpful and a great way to meet other new mums. The only problem I have ever found is that the GP surgeries are on the 1st Floor and the lift is always breaking down. The staff will organise for a GP to see you downstairs if you are unable to tackle the stairs though so doesn't create too much of a problem.

He is ideal for patients who are nervous or anxious. It is never true to say that going to the dentist is pain free, but he makes sure you knwo when something bad is going to happen, so you can prepare yourself. He is very gentle with the injections (I have had dentists who leave you sore for a week afterwards) and he is very professional and explains all your options. Although they only accept kids as NHS patients, they have a scheme where you can pay monthly or you can be a private patient for quite reasonable fees.

I've since had a few dentists but in June 2009 with a new dental insurance plan returned to Julian. His surgery is really rather inconvenient to get to if you don't live in the moorlands. It takes me about 40 minutes to get here from either Stafford where I work, or Newcastle where I live. His prices are undoubtedly high for dentistry but he is thorough in his work, I've never had a problem and I'm sure I've never paid for unecessary work. In fact Julian is BBC Radio Stokes on air dentist, so that should be an indicator of how good he is with all his patients.

He is a lovely dentist to having and is very friendly. If you have a problem you know you can trust him to help or sort it out for you. Private dentistry will never be cheap but you know that he is not going to charge you more for treatment. He also provides NHS service for people up to 19 in full time education. Overall i will be staying with this dentist for a long time.
