I went here for the first time today after reading the reviews and got a foot/shoulder massage from Jimmy. Let me just say that I get massages pretty frequently due to pain from tendinitis and this has got to be one of the better places I've been to. No fancy spa decor just soft cushioned massage chairs and experts at hitting all your pressure points. I will also add that I am partial to deep tissue massage and welcomed the pressure. Ok so based on Yelp reviews I had a lot of expectations What you all have said - Asian massage, deep and great. well 2 words. Heck No!... Would be nice if they asked you if they wanted it harder, but considering the reviews I was expecting you know an Asian massage. there was no focus - no focus on pressure points. no pressure what so ever and a lot of the time it was more like tickling me. I came here with some coworkers to relax...and I did. I liked the communication and the vibe walking in. I felt great after the massage. The masseuse knew what to focus on. I enjoyed it and wouldn't mind coming back again. I give this place a 4 stars because I felt that the lighting should of been more dim. I just started going here. It is a good value package: 1 hour massage in a chair or massage table and for a great price and all of the massages have been good whereas at Massage Envy you pay more and you may not get a great massage. Why not 5 stars? I think they could do more with the decor. It is pretty plain. I think some sort of fountain or peaceful scenery would be nice and they could do something with the music. read more

I agree with other reviews on here. $35/hour for a foot massage is a little pricy. I usually go to Far West Massage in Concord and it's only $20/hour for a foot massage. The only reason why I went here was because I was planning on seeing a movie at the imax theater and wanted a massage before the movie. The massage was good, but he didn't massage my calves with lotion like the other places do. Also, the customer service is really bad here. The lady at the front had a frown on her face when I checked in and did not look happy. After my massage, I was waiting at the counter. Nobody was helping me, so I said, "$35, right?" And the guy looked at me and helped me check out. They didn't even ask me how my massage was! I wouldn't come here again because of the bad customer service and the price. So glad I live in concord and can experience a good foot massage at a reasonable price! read more

The price isn't bad but you do get what you pay for. First I asked for a female therapist, and the receptionist said okay. But when I get there they give me a male therapist. I just agreed to a male therapist because I was in need of a massage. Then right before the massage, I told the masseuse I don't want a head massage. Later toward the end I get a head massage -____- This place is not very relaxing either. I could hear the tick tock of the clock on the wall, employees having conversations. There is no wall between the front desk/entry and the massage area. So you can hear people coming in and out and the light from the front desk streams into the massage section. Also, when I did the combo massage, halfway through the masseuse told me to go to a different massage table to massage my back, which I found really odd. If you have to come here, do not get the combo massage. Just stick to the foot massage. read more

I've been here twice since moving to California from the east coast. For $35 you get an hour foot massage with some focus on the head, neck, and arms. For $45 you get a combo, foot reflexology and body massage (over the clothes). My only con is that it's very open and not private at all. It would be nice if it were less bright and more room between chairs. However, I will continue to go for foot massages. read more

I am a regular, so today, the boss was not there and things were not right. The foot massage was GREAT as always!! What was different? The music that was playing had vocals and was not relaxing. Next, the towels smelled bad and were slightly damp when placed on me. But the worst was two ladies were allowed to talk to each other and their cell phones kept going off and then their conversations continued on their phones. The place had a total of 6 people getting foot massages at the same time. Other phones were also going off. Silence your cell phone is written in two languages....but i doubt they spoke either. Not a good experience today. The staff is always great. They should remind people to silence their phones and if people are chatting, ask them to finish their conversation outside before their massage starts. read more

The full body massage was good. It didn't hurt, and it was even tickled around my calves. I don't know why I was charged $55 for a one-hour body massage when a previous review (on 11/21/10) indicated $35 for a full body massage. The website does say $55, but not all of the services or fees are included on the website. I did not get a discount/special for being a first-timer. I was a lot less stressed when it was finished. However, I was stressed again when the man who gave me the body massage asked me "tip?" while he processed my credit card. I do not like how I was basically pressured to give him a tip. I did give him a tip (more than I should have given), because I felt like I was put on the spot, and now I regret it because of how he asked for it. I've been here maybe half a dozen times. I've gotten 1 hour body reflexology, as well as 1 hour foot reflexology service. My favorite is the foot service. This place is clean and relaxing, bright and airy. I have always had great customer service. It is located upstairs at the Ulferts Center, which is pretty close to my home, so this is a great place to get a little pampering. Last time my husband and I had the flu, we were both in the end stages of recovering and still feeling a little achy, so we stopped in here to each get an hour foot reflexology (we weren't contagious anymore, but still feeling bleh. I'm not trying to get anyone sick). During that hour appointment they do some body reflexology as well. We both felt so much better afterward and it really helped us to feel better. They are always available to take me any time of day (I think their therapists live nearby and someone is always on-call to come in if they don't have anyone right that second, bc they are always busy). They are open late, which fits great into my schedule. Very clean and serene environment (though basic). Every single therapist I've gotten (and I go at least once a month) has been good. However, during my last visit, I got ANDY and he was amazing. Best massage I've had ever and i go to 5-star spas around the world. I am going to request him every time I go. Highly recommend this place. They're a little pricier than other foot reflexology places here and other surrounding cities, but the convenient location to my house and service makes it worth it. read more

This is not a spa type place where you have rose petals all over the room or have some type of relaxing aroma floating in the room. This is a large storefront shop with modern interior decor and at times you will get a loud Chinese customer talking about his China trips in Mandarin. I enjoy going to Foot Logic and have been several times. Getting in without an appointment is usually no problem, but sometimes they are booked up. Sunday seems to be a very busy day. The best part is how quiet it is in here, even though the massage chairs are quite close. It is most relaxing, as the foot massage includes neck, shoulders and hands while your feet are soaking in warm water. I highly recommend this place, as it is almost impossible not NOT fall asleep while here. The cost for a combo massage is $45 and it is well worth it. My overall experience was positive. When I first called to make an appointment, the lady who picked up the phone did not speak English very well. I was not sure if she understood my request for a female masseuse. When I was greeted by the receptionist who then tried to up sell me. I was directed to lie down and then my female masseuse began her session. Event though I had a foot massage, she worked on my head, my back, arms, and legs all while fully clothed. This is the best foot reflexology I have gone to by far (and that includes a ton in LA and the nearby ones in the Tri-Valley). What sets it apart from the rest is that it is clean, doesn't look like a shady brothel type place, and it's quiet with peaceful music. A very different experience than the typical reflexology places. Even my mom insists on going their every time she comes to California to visit. The best of the three masseuses is Sandy. She only works on weekday evenings and on the weekends so if you want her you have to call in advance and request her and/or make and appointment. She is one of the best if not the best masseuse I have had in my life, including really expensive spa massages. Mike is good too but not as good as Sandy. If you want someone to really mash you up, ask for Kacy. I found that she was a bit too strong for me. By the way, if you buy a package of massages you get a discount of 10-15-20% depending on how many you buy. They are dirt cheap for what they offer and it is way way better than typical reflexology places. And I read the recent 1-star rating and all I have to say about that is that the rating is on "customer service" and not the actual massage. They do not have a full staff working there -- the reason why they can keep the massages cheap. When only Mike and Kacy are there and they are giving massages, they can't just leave their customers and chit chat with people waiting for massages. And more importantly they are also very very shy about using their limited English. So it seems a bit unfair that the criticism is that they didn't explain fully what was going on to someone who they only thought spoke English and who didn't ask a question about how long the wait was. I have visited this place for about 1 year, yes some employees were precccupied and even on a cell phone.But they are no longer there. A deep tissue massage is what I like after tennis, I have explained any special knot locations with happy purring , English or Mandarin words. After a few visits they remember and we can laugh as they work through the spots. I have had massages all over the world and none are as good at any price.
