custom insoles are a scam I haven't felt any worse and of course it's non refundable because they know the product is poor

I have happy feet - after going to Foot Solutions. Lisa is a Shoe Whisperer - or maybe a Foot Whisperer. She found comfortable *stylish* fun shoes, while she took care of all my foot issues - some I didn't know I had. One foot almost a size bigger than the other? No problem! Wide feet? No problem! Need arch support? Now I've got it! A painful toe, curling under? Here - a $10 soft small comfortable thing to put under the toes. I would never have been able to find these wonderful pairs of shoes, and 2 different kinds of orthotics, without Lisa's help. She really understands feet, shoes - and people! I will never again try to buy shoes online and merely hope to make them fit. read more

Had a very positive visit with Foot Solutions in Toledo. They certainly know everything there is to know about feet. They were super friendly and listened to what I was saying. After trying on a few different shoes I eventually settled for a pair of running shoes. I hope they help with my mobility problems and back pain. read more

Went to foot solutions on Sylvania Ave am not pleased with the inserts they made for me. Very cheaply made and are not helping me at all. For the money I paid I would have they would have been made with better material. They are falling apart already and have only had them a couple of months. $475 and it is just like I threw in the garbage. Very poor work and material for that kind of money. read more

So I recently went here to try and find a solution for my plantar fasciitis. After having to wait for about 15 minutes even though there was no one else in the store we were introduced to the "doctor" that helped people get what they needed. I explained the problems I was having and he understood what was needed. I told him the size of shoe I wore and he checked to confirm I was wearing the right size. He went into the back to find an insert for my shoe to stop or atleast ease my pain, and came back out with the very wrong size. No problem it happens, so he goes back and then come out with what he thought was my size but it was clearly the woman's shoe size. So after another trip to the back he finally gets it right, and then tells me that the inserts are non refundable but will last up to 3 years since I opted to not get the custom made one due to the $300 price. I ended up spending $100 for the insert thinking "well, it will last that long the price isn't bad." So it has been about 2 months since I went and big suprise the insert has pretty much been completely destroyed. The arch support is still hold up but the heel around it had all but worn away. And I know what you thinking. You're thinking I must not have tied my shoes or been doing something wrong, but I'm telling you I've been doing exactly what I was told by the "doctor". He is a good salesman I'll give him that but the product he sells is not worth what you pay. So all and all I very strongly suggest you find another place or just go to your doctor and have them refer you somewhere. In the end it will save you alot of time and money. read more

I went to Foot Solutions looking for some relief from foot pain. I paid over $200 for a pair of shoes that are heavy, ill-fitting and caused more foot pain than I had before I wore them. I gave them a fair trial of 2 month thinking that my feet would feel better eventually but they never did. I went back once and they added more orthotics inside that did no good. I am back to a $40 pair of Skechers that fit better and are far more comfortable. Avoid. read more

I was excited to learn about this shoe store with an orthopedic surgeon as consult. I arrived for my appointment and explained my recent surgeries and current problem of finding shoes. The "doctor " told me that I would never wear shoes without orthotics again. My two surgeries were to fix the foot problems preventing me from wearing regular shoes!!! Needless to say, I began crying and was very upset. He recommended arch supports and a shoe with a built-in orthotic. I really needed shoes so I went with his selection. I specifically asked if everything was returnable and he said only sale items were not. I wore my new purchase for two weeks, inside with hospital booties to keep them in good shape. They never became comfortable. I called to be sure of the return date and then drove an hour to the store. When I arrived, I was informed that the $140 arch supports were not returnable, I was directed to the receipt where it said that orthotics were not returnable. When I reminded him that I had asked and he told me only sale items were not returnable, he said I should have known because of the receipt. I explained that I asked him before purchasing and did not look at the receipt that closely, he replied, "Did I need to stamp it on your forehead?" I only bought something he recommended and he should have taken them back because I don't need them. At one point his wife said to take them back but he is an arrogant, smug man and even though I don't need what he recommended, he would not. I had a disappointed experience here also. Drove 45 minutes just to get to the store. Waited like half hour for the "Dr." and had to fill out some stupid paperwork before I was even allowed to try some shoes on. I wear a size 11 or 12 in Womens which are hard to find but I expected a specialty shoe store would have my size. WRONG. They only had a few in my sizes and none of them felt right to me. I tried some mens shoes instead but still no luck. I thought all the prices were very high. Left to look elsewhere and have never been back. read more

If I could give no stars, I would. This store is horrible. The "doctor" treated me like a child when I tried to return the "insoles" that did NOT work for my plantar fascitis. I was told by the "doctor" he couldn't take my 50.00 pretend insoles back because I had worn them. I only wore them once in my house for a few hours. I put them into other pairs of shoes, but the shoes no longer fit after putting in the 50.00 insoles. Yes, I removed the lining of the shoe before inserting. I felt pressured to purchase these "fake" insoles, and was told I could try them out at home, however when I went to return them it was a different story. I was SHAMED by the "doctor" telling me it said on my receipt they were non-refundable. I did not have my receipt, but did have the proof from my credit card. I proceeded to tell the "doctor" no, I did not read the receipt, and he asked me if I read receipts from Best Buy or other places I shopped. He treated me as if I was a child, and he was my father. He refused to let me make the return also adding even if he would allow it, I needed my original receipt. This is the worst place to go for foot problems. I wouldn't send my worst enemy there. read more
