However, the washing machine in my building isn't big enough to wash a whole comforter, so I was forced to take it to a Laundromat. They've got big washers, which is nice for a large load. Even if I wasn't washing my quilt I could probably fit a lot of dirty clothes in that thing. Royal Laundry has a somewhat 70's style feel to it. They've got green and orange chairs that aren't very comfy but are super cute! It's not a terrible place to spend some time while waiting for a couple of loads to finish up. It's big, they've got a lot of machines, and you can stuff a whole lot of clothes in each load.

I asked her some questions about the beading place(she shared the same building so she knows almost everything about the place), she answered very stiffly and almost as if she thought I was the dumbest person in the world. A few seconds later, she went on rambling about some negative energy between us and got really hostile and just plain rude, like "I hate you" rude. The remaining time I was there she followed me like a hawk and scrutinized my every move. At the sales counter, she was ringing up my purchases, all were 50%-60% off. She did not discount them. I would NEVER go to this dry cleaning place or recommend it, I believe customer service is very important, and this was definitely a bad experience. I loved the beading shop, but I don't really want to go again in case I run into this lady again, she gives me really bad vibes. I'm not just some Karen either, and I've had bad experiences in the past, but never actually written a review, and they were nothing compared to this. Other customers seemed to like her, but I definitely did not imagine the worst death glare you've ever received, and multiply it by ten. That's how I felt she treated me the entire time I was there. Would not recommend, go to some other place, ANY other place. And I mean it.

The 2nd time to the same customer merited a concern voiced to the owner. Owner (Josh) did reply promptly and started out being polite but when I said I don't think it has been dry cleaned he basically, told me it was the jacket being worn out. I have used cleaners before and they have been able to clean to my satisfaction. This fellow argued with me and at no time offered a sincere apology. I am dumbfounded when he said he didn't need my business. I am a manager in a large coporation with large monthly dry cleaning in excess of $200.00 per month which is significant for one customer. When I explained that I would take my business elsewhere: his reply, "I'm sorry you feel that way." My only conclusion is that his business is extremely successful and does not need the business or he just plain does not care. I would say it's the latter. I wish him the best of luck with the future of his business as he wil not have me as a customer.

They have the regular variety small-load machines costing just a dollar or two, and they have machines that will wash up to 3 or 4 loads at once! Plenty of dryers, I have never had to wait for machines to come available. Nice old lady at the counter is able to provide change, soap, and dryer sheets. Pretty decent hours, pretty decent price.
