I live about an hour away but I had been trying to get my older rough collie into a good groomer for a while - but the wait was causing her to suffer. She had a skin condition that required unfortunate clipping of her double coat for topical treatment months prior and I struggled to support the regrowth without matting. It was hard for me to manage her thick coat as it grew out from that treatment. I was so grateful to get the appointment, as our previous groomer was booked out months (I hadn't needed so much help since when I had been pregnant 4 years prior - but with the trim she seemed to be less brush-able). She came home from this groomer with a much happier coat and skin - and looked much more herself (compared to before the needed clipping). She is a large breed 10 year old - so I was very happy to have her returned happy with minimal stiffness. Lexi is grateful. I can tell the staff took time and care, since she was not super stiff or lame on return. I am deeply grateful. I was in happy tears seeing her after her appointment. Thank you. Thank you so much. Because of that, I'm extremely selective about who I trust with her, and R & B absolutely exceeded my expectations. From the start, communication was great. Scheduling was easy, they were super responsive, and they arrived right on time. The entire process felt calm and stress-free, which is huge for us. What really stood out was how patient and gentle they were with my dog. They were able to get her into the van with no problems at all, and it honestly felt like they had known her forever. She was comfortable almost immediately, which says so much about how they interact with animals. I also really appreciate how transparent and organized they are. Horrible experience! Razor burn on left side of my small dog's face & mole cut when face shaven…read morebald! Painful & now a once adorable face is homely. Yes hair will grow back but meantime face is sore. No wonder he cowered on the floor of the car all the way home & again on the return trip to pick up Daisy. He was shaking violently. Called to tell groomer so as not to make same mistake on another dog thinking she'd appreciate my call. She asked "what do you want from me"? And "it will grow back"! Large dog was shaven length of her back so low skin is showing which I specifically requested not that short. Her reply? "She has bald spots"! Not so...there aren't any "spots" but an entire long patch of visible skin! Her tail was left with a "swisher" as groomer called it looking like a lion! My small dog still has long body hair, & now a bald face with a "poof" on top of his head! I even tipped this groomer before seeing all the mistakes under brighter light & with my glasses on!. She said she wanted to see Noah's face w/the razor burns but refused to give me her e mail address when I called back asking for it so I could send the picture. Before we adopted our sweet Noah he spent his first 2 yrs. of life w/an abusive owner. I couldn't help but think he felt I too let him down so to speak. This would've all been forgiven had Jonelle just OWNED her mistakes & sincerely apologized instead of one of those "sorry, BUT"....then a slew of attempts to justify everything. She even went so far as to say Noah's skin was "sensitive to that blade". Only 1 side of his face is sensitive?? ANYBODY can cut their skin if shaven low & hard enough I believe! We like to support small, home town businesses but we're RUNNING back to Petco!!

With her care and the frequent phone calls I received from Dr B, I got to have 14 more months with Aiden. I am sincerely grateful for this long goodbye. I can't tell you how appreciative i am for this time with Aiden and this doctors care. Dr Murphy on the other hand which is mentioned on another review, she called me in October 2024 to tell me Aiden was in stage 3 kidney failure and didn't offer any supportive care at all. It was like he's dying, goodbye. Of course i switched doctors, Dr Murphy was a real disappointment and I will always remember this with my animal.
